    That phantom carpet cut at 22:55 had me do a double take. 😄 Great work!

    I know this video is a year old but with such a small closet, why not just replace the entire closet? It will make the closet not look patched up and also gives you more material to play with. Maybe its cost but just seems like a better look. Great patch job btw

    Hey Josh do you always do your closets like that? No seam tape? You just saved me 30 minutes on each job. 👊🏻
    Add that up on 3-4 jobs per day. Huge time savings. Have you ever had a callback that it came up? I know there’s no traffic in the closet 🤷‍♂️

      For patches around 1 sf or less I just use parabond M-363. Anything much larger and I use the kool glide. No, not one call back. 😅

    Wow never seen 2 razor blades us ed in a tool like that. We only use one in ours. Any reason why you do that?

      Just the design. You can switch and cut closer to the seam edge you’re saving.

    What did you spray on the carpet?

    What brand stinger is that on your stretcher?

      That was an old one I bought years ago at Tom Duffy co. Too big and bulky for my liking. The black ones they sell now our smaller and more durable I think. Not sure the brand though.

      Ok yeah I use the black one. Just was curious because I never saw that style before

    How do you address when ppl complain and pins sticking through cheap warn carpet.

    • @carpetguy
      @carpetguy  2 роки тому

      Tell them to carefully tap down with hammer

    • @timetable620
      @timetable620 2 роки тому

      @@carpetguy we have done that before but also have come to do repairs where the carpet has come loose because the pins have turned to face backwards because they have been smashed down. You could use a electric tacker but that also is not a preferred method

    I hate flat bar transitions so much.
