I'm happy to get back into my usual uploading schedule with some old school paper clay and sewing tutorials! The ones from this video involve some fun money-saving DIY hacks and are great for using up scrap clay or sock fabric. The next video also shows you how to make DIYs using stuff that you might otherwise throw out. This was the first time I tried using Banggood Paper Clay for a more complex design and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it sculpts. The texture is perfect for ice cream, cakes or macarons. I was using the set I got in Jan-Feb of this year and it was still perfectly soft to work with (this would never happen with clay inside plastic bag packaging).

When I make fake cream I mix my clay up with a bit of water and put it in a bag with a piping tip... Its a great alternative.

The cupcake looks cute but I think it would be cuter as a cactus or something like that. I don't know, it reminds me of a tiny cactus and since it will have needles and pins, it would be cute.

You can also crinkle up tin foil and present it against the clay for ice cream texture :)
