There's always a debate between people who want slime videos and those who want DIY / crafting videos. So I hope this video will make both happy ;)! I came up with some gift ideas using traditional crafting methods but based on popular DIY slimes. My goal was to make a slime that you can touch or keep forever. It was great fun matching up typical DIY craft supplies with their DIY slime counterpart (eg resin = clear slime, clay = fluffy slime, hot glue = poked slime, cornstarch = balloon slime etc!)
Most of these DIYs can be completed in less than 5 minutes hands-on time (EXCLUDES drying time). They are also surprisingly cheap to make, probably less than real slime and can be sold for a lot more :). These also make great Christmas gifts for slime fans. Most of my pieces ended up as miniature slimes, but it's definitely possible to create life-sized "fake slime" pieces. You can also get super creative and mix different colours together or experiment with the decorations just like real DIY slime.

Here's a really easy DIY air dry clay recipe. One part school glue and one and a half parts cornstarch. This recipe keeps for a while, and if it gets hard add more school glue, and too soft add more cornstarch. Love you Joanna!

AnimeLover Aww sweetie! Confessing is always so very hard! When I was a young girl I confessed my love to a boy in a love letter I put in his car with a gift. He never replied to me either. (The next year he started to date a friend of mine. Ouch!) It hurt to be left in limbo without an answer but for myself I was thankful he didn't reject me at the same time. If he had told me no to my face I would have been devastated. Him not replying to me helped me to pretend it never happened.. hehe 😅
It took a while to get over and that is completely normal and natural. It's a grieving process because you are grieving what could have been. Allow yourself to express your emotions and you'll find in time you'll heal and it won't hurt anymore! 💖
If you get overwhelmed by emotions try channeling them into something creative like writing poetry or song lyrics, maybe a story or doing some artwork. You could try painting and get out all your frustrations on the canvas by flinging the paint onto the surface and letting your passion and feelings create something beautiful! (Maybe do that outside though! Don't want to damage anything with flying paint! haha! ) 💖

the *only* thing that i disliked about this video is the first "DIY". it's basically just putting cornstarch in a balloon.
and i think the luminosity is a little too strong, maybe try to stick to natural lightning.

Yes, the lighting was an accident because I was working together with a cameraman for the first time so our whole setup was new. We ended up having to discard of lot of footage from one camera so this video was actually fairly experimental 😝. We've figured out the equipment now and all the videos from now on will be much better!

If you don't cut open the bottle, you can just rinse it and let it dry, then pour corn starch in to the bottle. Then you blow up the balloon and place it over the bottle and pour the corn starch in to the blown up balloon. Remove the balloon and then let the air gently out, to prevent the cirnstarch from spraying out, then tie off the balloon.

Yes, I accidentally used an iPhone6 case instead of 7 😝. Though I managed to peel the hot glue part off the case after it dried and stuck it onto the correct one, which is what the thumbnail photo looks normal!
