This video is a collection of DIY pop it and fidget toys, including how to make the peach phone case that went viral on my TikTok account. Pop its seem to have become the new fidget spinners and I literally see them everywhere! Paper popits remind me a lot of paper squishies and I love how you can make virtually anything just with a few basic supplies. The other two projects are DIY squishies featuring two different methods of making molds. The hanami dango mochis from Bokksu were perfect as a fidget toy. I've been watching japanese vlogs and video walks every day for the past year so it was such a lovely experience to have a box of authentic snacks from Japan delivered to my door.

Reminder not to misuse fidget toys as they get taken away quite quickly in schools, meaning the people who actually need them won't be allowed to use the things they need to focus.
The paper ones might actually be good for places where fidgets are banned
@@sleepykoi4617 only benefit is that they can be ripped. If they're banned and you get caught no more fidget toys.

I like the mochis because i’m allergic to regular mochis as they’re made from latex, so putting them in a package is a great idea to fidget with

Can you try to make a fidget to help with dermatillomania? It's uncontrollable skin-picking, and it's really hard to find fidgets that mimic the picking feeling that can't be picked apart. Thanks!
This helps a little.... Take a plastic page devider or even if u can find a sillicone mat. Cut to the size youd like. Use non strip wax (like for waxing hair) you can add a little food coloring to it. Follow melting instructions and then spread on the mat or platic. You can also use bday candles. But depending on your age you may need someones help to do this safely. I would spread it in uneaven layers so there can be different textures. If your very crafty you can drip melt candles to make a picture. Lay flat and let cool compleatly. Make many at one time. Then add each one to its own ziplock bag and peel in the bag whenever you want. (So no mess) You will have to remake but if you make lots you can take ur time.

I actually wanted to make one for this video but ran out of time!! Have you heard of Pick n Peel stones? Tiktok @picknpeelstones and she sells on Etsy as well. I wanted to try a simpler DIY version whilst giving the original product promotion because it looks so satisfying. I might still do that in a future video!

I just wanted to comment something from a video from about a year ago: in your seal squishy video, you said that you didnt think it was possible to keep glitters suspended in the gel but i managed to think of a way. what if you put in about 1/4 of the amt of squishy gel, then but glitter and the rest of the gel. i think if you do it this way, it would work.
HI I really wanted to give you a tip, when using clay if you want to get rid of finger prints or dirt you can dip a qutip in rubbing alcohol to get rid or it. OMG THANSK SO MUCH FOR GIVING IT HEART MAQAROON I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!!!! I edited it and I accidentally got rid of the heart 😞

i really like your videos, but i wanted to say that a lot of fidget toys people use and call 'cutesy' is ableist. i have adhd and back in 2016 i used fidget spinners as a tool in school to help me focus, but they got banned where i was because a lot of neurotypical kids were using it because it was "cool" and "trendy", and i struggled quite a bit. i do appreciate this video but i think it's important to know where some of these things stem from :)

@@dx.feelgood5825 oh of course i think you can, but sometimes it bugs me when people think they're quirky because they have fidget toys that neurodivergent people need. sorry if i came off as rude, that's just my opinion :)
@@emma-ud9lq from what I've seen, it's mainly just kids who don't realize what they're for. As you get older, people don't care so much. Literally all I have to do is explain to teachers that my cube helps me focus better and that's it lol. I only see a problem with them around middle school aged kids, which- isn't exactly unexpected tbf. They ruined everything when I was in that hell.
But no I get the frustration, but it's not just people who aren't neurodivergent using these tutorials
@@dx.feelgood5825 yeah middle school was hell for that reason for me, too. where i went to school the teachers basically forgot neurodivergence was a thing, and the kids thought it was cool to make fun of people with fidgets and then use them anyways. glad you cleared that up
@@emma-ud9lq middle school sucks more than anything honestly. The kids ruin everything, the teachers seem to suck, just everything is terrible. The middle school and freshman kids on my bus are absolute hell to deal with
