I enjoy everything that you do with your pens. Would love to see what you can do with Christmas ornaments whether turning or woodworking. Enjoy you new toys!
Hey Melissa - Good to hear from you. I'm working on some ideas for ornaments this year I think you'll like and toys are always fun. We'll try and share those projects. Thanks for watching, commenting and your support. Best Regards
I'd watch a video of you cleaning a kitchen sink Llyn, pens, furniture, house re-model,ladder to the moon! Keep it real and stay safe buddy!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Hey there Lynn, greetings from South Africa again. We love to see you make pens from start to finish, also pen kit reviews. Thanks kindly, take care as always
Lynn- I enjoy all your videos. I like to see how you attach pieces of wood together when making a project. Even when things go south. Because we all know it happens and we learn from that as much as when they come out awesome. Actually the reason I follow your videos is I lack the creativity so I "borrow" yours. Keep up the good work! And your shop looks awesome!
Your are to kind - I struggle with creativity myself! Alot of my creativity begins with plagiarism from someone else and then I try to put my own spin on things. That is what this community is about is helping each other is skills and creativity. Thanks for watching
Saw mushrooms being made. Also vases or jar type items. Seen some Japanese lamps and items made like that with some power and hand tools. Finishing pens would also be great - wood pens.
The CAT compressor is the best, especially for a wood shop in a second floor bedroom! It’s quieter than a pancake because of the dual piston. One of the best shop purchases I ever made!
As a new turner, one thing that I am still trying to perfect is the mastering of correct moisture levels and avoiding splitting. Apologies if you already have one of those and I just haven't run across it yet.
I would like to see some of your fancy pens that are unique and interesting not just one type of wood. Casting would be nice! Shop ideas, tips, tricks, tools, and jigs.
Great to hear from you. Being a fairly new woodturner, especially pens, I enjoy all those videos. But, I also like building things, mainly action toys, or board games, or whatever. What I’m trying to say is you make the video, I will watch, Lol. I recently got a request for a bottle stopper, and instead of buying the chuck for turning, I’m going to make one for about $1. Maybe you could show some other ways to save money like that. Have a good weekend and my God Bless. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Gaston - I would like to see your $1 bottle stopper chuck. When you have it made send me a pic. I may even feature it on a video with your approval. Thanks and take care.
Lynn, sorry about not getting back to you, but we are about flooded out here in Ga. I’m having a little trouble with the mandrel; a little wobble. I got the idea from Cip’s Wood Works. The title is “Wine Bottle Stopper Mandrel” . His is in metrics, but a 3/8 works for here. I’m also going to use the inserts that PennState sale. Maybe you could do an updated video about saving money when you only plan on doing a couple of them?
Lynn, I always enjoy your pen making videos, and would like to continue to see those. I am also interested in segmented bowl turning, I have never tried it and am trying to learn all I can before I start. Can you do a pen video on celtic knott pens? Thanks for all you do to educate us. John
Hey John - Thanks for the comment - I did a Celtic knot video You can find it here ua-cam.com/video/ZxDnoIBR3Ng/v-deo.html and to be honest I did not enjoy that build. It was a lot of work for what in my opinion resulted in a pen that was not attractive., My personal opinion of celtic knots. Check it out you'll probably do great with it. Best Regards
Lynn I get something out of all your videos. Grateful if you could at some time demonstrate or put your own twist on some slimeline segmenting / shaping. Looking forward to seeing you casting in the future. Big thanks for everything so far
You are welcome and thank you for watching. I'm pretty basic when it comes to shaping for pens. I really like the classic straighter profiles compared to the bigger more elaborate profiles of other turners. As for "slimline segmenting" - I'll try and do some videos on that but you can take any segmenting idea and apply to a slimline or fountain pen. Thanks for your support and for watching.
Hey Lynn , Just wanted to say hi! Always love seeing what you are doing! As I write this I have 4work days left on the job! Than a new journey begins for me ! Retirement! So I have my shop UA-cam channel and videos to make! I may reach that problem some day too ! Maybe!! I guess I will weight and see! Regards BobLee
Enjoyed watching the pin build videos would enjoy seeing what items you build to sell at shows maybe something on the business side and things have a blessed day
I would like to see videos with product demonstrations. Such as a sander sealer, high friction polish (I use mylands for both and have issues getting both done correctly) or any products that you personally use. From the correct amount of the product to how it should be applied and etc. I've found a lot of info on youtube concerning ca glue and sanding itself but very little on the proper application of the other necessities needed for pen making. I've only been involved with pen turning since this past December so I'm pretty much still figuring it all out. With that said, I very much enjoy your videos and appreciate the time you take to share your knowledge with us.
Thanks and you request are noted. I have used friction polish in the past and really don't care for them. I don't care for the appearance and their durability on pens so I may not help you in that regard. Thanks for watching and your comments they are very much appreciated.
Thank for the nice video Lynn. I think you skipped the router table, or at least I didn’t see it in the video. I have a California air tools compressor as well. I bought it for its low noise level and couldn’t be happier.
Welcome back Lynn, I didn't see the router table either. Any chance of videos for jig making for segmenting rings to make a segmented bowl? I know there are already some out there but different people have different ways of making things your way would be interesting to see.Cheers, Huw
Thanks Huw - I haven't done any segmented bowl turning yet. Bow turning and hollow form turning are some things I eventually want to get into but have so much to learn first. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Love the new tools (didn't see the router table ;) ). I've been watching CL for a jointer, planer and compressor as well. I agree that pen making videos can get old real quick unless it is really something new. I enjoyed seeing some of the other projects that you have done for your craft shows and such. Maybe you can swap the ratio to only a couple of pens every once and a while.
Thanks for the request - we can definitely show craft show items and prep. Are you doing craft shows? If so what are some of your products? Thanks again for watching.

Hey Mark - I have been making a few cutting boards recently. Can I ask you what you mean by "butcher block"? So many people use the term to describe different things. Thanks and take care.
Hey Charles - Segmenting is tough. Keeping things together is tougher depending on what materials you use. Ill try to do a video on segmenting materials and adhesives. Good idea - Thanks for your comments and ideas.
I enjoy everything that you do with your pens. Would love to see what you can do with Christmas ornaments whether turning or woodworking. Enjoy you new toys!

Enjoying the pen videos and the diy segmenting blanks/pens. Those are my favorite. Keep up the great work
Thanks Sara I appreciate the feed back
I like all of your videos. My favorites are anything related to pen making.
Hey Lisa, good to hear from you - I'll be doing more pen related video even if they are repetitive. Best Regards
Great workshop! Thanks for taking the time to do a tour. Subscribed!
I enjoy every video you do. the pens and blanks are the best

Anything you are doing would be interesting. I actually would prefer to see things other than pens, though pens are cool too.
Thanks tenspeed - I hope to balance things out a littke between pen making and other woodworking stuff. Thanks for your continued support.

Thanks - I'm extremely happy with it. Thanks for watching.
You have to take the fence off then put the gard back on and pull it open and block it to put the fence back on
Thanks Bobby I appreciate you watching and commenting.
