There are a lot of things I used to know but have probably forgotten about history here. Some of which are questionably true. For example, there is a house in Hamilton reputedly designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, but I don't know if that is true.
I agree, no offense to the town or the people, but for me, the number one draw here is nature. Maybe why I have made more videos about the mountains than the towns... even though the town videos are much more popular.
Corvallis / Chaffinsville Best and deepest topsoil deposit left behind from lake Missoula. Corvallis used to have the best grocery store in the valley "Bays" and also the best hardware store Bays Hardware"
Yep, the only grocery store I've ever known was the small market, I mean there is nothing wrong with it as a convenience store, but its not a full grocery store.
Oh man imagine my surprise when I saw the title haha Looks like Oregon Corvallis might have just a little leg up on Montana Corvallis! You think you’ll ever go back to Corvallis Or? Maybe go visit that little park you used to hangout at
@@luciakowala9254 Well, it sounds like there is an interesting story there! I had actually been away for four years before I came back this time. And I was away for five years before that.
Thanks for the video!! I don't know if you know this but the 1894 brooks house is an old Sears and Roebucks house.

Wow! beautiful town, found out not too long ago my great grandmothers first husband lived there in the early 1900's.
I like it! I wish I could have made a few more videos of Montanan towns when I was there.
Used to wake up to that great mountain vista every morning.
Best thing about Hamilton. That and the candy shop.

A beautiful Town 😍
I remember that video about the plaza
You don’t want to bike to Pinesdale 😂 and yes, Corvallis has an actual pharmacy and it’s fantastic
I actually do want to bike to Pinesdale. Just not as much as I want to bike other places.

Is the grocery store not still there, what happened?
@@L4JRapture Went away back in the 80s as I remember, the Bays got old. The hardware store lasted longer, went away 15-20 years ago.

But yes, Corvallis, Oregon has a lot more going on...

It's like I've stepped through a mirror!
Go Beavers! Oh, wait...
Apparently, their high school mascot is the "Blue Devil".

@@glowingfish hell yeah man have you played? It’s a great game
@@JakeMika-mt4dy I've seen it but not played it. I am literally decades beyond on my video and computer games.
I saw my old house at 4:09 lol it feel surreal 😂
I hope it was also nice, and not just surreal!
@glowingfish it really was nice to see but I say surreal because I haven't been or seen the house in 8 years
