I love it when he said, If you come to Montana you're here for a reason, don't bring your mess here. ✌🏾
Agreed!
@@akanzeki I love Mappy, because he doesn't play. Mappy is NOT apart of political correctness. ✌🏾
Yeah they don't want their state to become the next California/New York/Colorado
53:41 get that shit outta here its not allowed. lol. at least if i owned that store id say that
@@SoraFan23 California, with over 40 million souls. Parts of California are like Montana -- lots of Old Men, almost no women and children. The Chinese are obviously the superior race. Not only is their average IQ higher, but more Chinese have survived into modern times than any other race or peoples -- mostly because they are more peaceful than the other races.
My Montana roots go back to 1874. My great grandmother was born in the Three Forks area before Three Forks was a town. She lived to be 107 years old and was (maybe still is the oldest native born Montanan ever.
Handshake and genuine trust between people? What? ...quick report this to Visa and Mastercard companies! Get them an eftpos terminal! Credit check is mandatory! Report every single transaction and penny so that they can tax, and block your accounts when you dont follow what politicians want!
I rode my bicycle across Montana and the worst part about it was getting to the end of the state and leaving, didn't want it to end. I loved it. Rode it 2x with AYH in 1986 and 1990.
Wow! Awesome!
That’s pretty amazing. I think about riding through on my motorcycle but not a bike!
Those small towns looks too peace and too quiet which almost seems like ghost towns. LOL
Were you right out of high school in '86? Sounds like it was fun!
It’s great that I can travel around America while lying in bed.. Thank you, what you tell and show is very interesting. I’m watching from Siberia, Novosibirsk, Russia.

Amazing! Hello!!❤
@@lillacoix9808 Hello! 😊
When I visited Montana I was shocked at how beautiful it is. A great place to find solitude and fish. Most towns have nothing to look at, except for nature. I walked through a downtown on a Friday afternoon and even the ice cream shop was closed for the day. If you're from the city you'd get bored after a week unless you want quiet. Some scenic spots you'd expect boating and tourism, yet there's nothing. Casinos are depressing. But even after leaving I did miss the quiet. Whitefish was really jumpin' with tourists.
We need Mappy to host the show, why..? Because Mappy will keep it real. { Love You Mappy. } Mappy I'm black. ✌🏾
Trout fishing heaven!!!
@@MrMagoo321 That's one thing I regret not doing. I saw some people fish and it looked like so much fun. Ran out of time.
the 'casinos' are a real sign of social issues. It looks like Russia.
Funny. I never got bored when I lived remotely in Montana or Wyoming. Put me in Baltimore, Detroit, or Palm Springs, and I'm very bored. Pacing a room bored.
10:28 Thumbs up for the bar dog. He’s adorable
I lived in Belgrade,MT next to Bozeman. Your video is spot on. You captured Montana exactly as it is. I'm impressed. Keep up the great work.
its Bozeman a liberal hellhole these days? Watch out
My ex husband lived in Belgrade. He passed in 2015.
Heck yeah, we switched to Bison meat for our burgers, chili, stew, and steak nights as there is a Bison ranch just a few miles down the road. YeeHaw!
Sounds delicious! About 30 years ago I rented a car trailer and after a couple miles the hubs were hot, so I disassembled and greased the dry wheel bearings. When I returned the trailer I told the owner what happened and for my trouble, he gave me a couple pounds of bison burgers. That was the first time I ate it. I really liked it!
Fascinating video to watch as a City born northern Englishman. It’s hard to fathom some of this. What a beautiful place Montana is though. I’d love to visit one day.
i've been there. it's land locked empty areas northern midwest. weather isn't good. very windy and cold or hot or dry, opposite of beach weather which is mild. most of the midwest from new mexico up to montana is like that, more extreme type of weather and wind hots and colds and dry or wet. one of the worst windy icy areas is wyoming. despite easy flat road i seen more car accidents there than any place in usa as a trucker. it's literally usa's version of death wind stage from fzero video game.
Love your humor! And YES! we hope the winter is BRUTAL!!
How did you even find that

I think I get it now. Montana is Nebraska with mountains.
😂 Well played.
I reckon that might just be about right.
Montana is way too big and geographically diverse. The mountainous western part of the state is nothing like the flat eastern part of the state which may resemble Nebraska at times.
@@mf-db6nmjust like Colorado.
I think it’s got a much more Midwest vibe than I had anticipated. Moved here in 2011 to get out of Illinois. What noticed back in 2011 was that the men seemed very tired all the time. And people make everything a laughing matter - which is good most of the time ! They don’t like it that I grew up in Calif - I was told that I was one of” them” - so I basically stick to myself . It’s definitely overly portrayed as a healthy place but the food has to be trucked in and is soooo expensive - hard to eat if one has any allergies - most folks have their group of friends already . It’s not recommended for older singles ! 😂😂
I visit Montana back in the 90s. I forgot how beautiful it is.The people there varry welcoming. Thanks you for taking me back.😊
I have been to Montana in 2007 with my late husband.. Brings some memory.. Thanks for the video..
As I was reading through the comments here, I remembered that I was staying at the Great Hall at the same time today, and I was surprised and wanted to tell them.
What a beautiful state Montana is! From Michigan
Little Fromberg Mt-- the average income is 29K....but average houses selling for over 200-300K. A nicely refurbed trailer (!) on 1/3 acre...they're asking 315K.
Seriously?
How do ANY of the locals afford that?
Same thing happening to very rural areas of Upstate NY, NH, etc.
I guess everyone is catering to the Cali, NY immigrants. Honestly disgusting!
I truly think it’s because the internet ruined it all. If remote workers can work anywhere Jack up the prices. Only savings are taxes at this point
Just move in with money. Push out a working local of an affordable place to stay. Make it a summer home or short term rental
I know. I looked it up. Even the trailers are costing $150,000?? WTF??? There's like 200 people in town with nothing to do but the real estate is so high. People from California aren't moving into those areas?? Something is really F up in the real estate market in Montana that they AREN"T telling you about.
But greed is good just ask a Republican ❤
@@Ezekio3160 I'm a remote worker and i don't want to move to Montana. Country beauty or NOT when there isn't anything to do, you're not going to last long there.
The scenery and the people of Montana are awesome! Thank you for the great content you keep providing for our entertainment!
NICK! You saw so much of the state and you were so kind! THANK YOU! I am really glad you got to see so much. Still...eastern small town is my fav even tho I have lived in many places here and out of state. Happy you came Nick.
Ok Janice
Big sky country. Montana has some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. It's definitely my favorite state to visit. I drove through there many times when I was OTR trucking, and I always stopped just to take the scenery in. If I ever get the chance to retire, Montana is where Im going.
I drove through Montana on my way to Washington state from Ohio back in the 90's and it is a beautiful state. Your hat, mustache, and jacket are cracking me up😂😂😂
A place with most of white people usually is a peaceful place, lot of examples accross the country.
Agreed
It's true though.
Fact
If there’s blacks, can’t relax
As you observed in your interview with Kyle Shobe in Lewistown, Montanans don't talk with a southern accent or use poor grammar or say ain't. No native calls Montana MONTANY! Montana is a gorgeous state filled with people who want to keep our values.
Montanny!!! You spelled it wrong lady
Your values seem to be torturing innocent animals. So that's no values at all.
Great! Watching from Nigeria
😆
Shucks, I reckon a feller could talk any dern ol way a feller wished, just as long as he does the standard jumping heel kick with his spurs that we expect to see from every new visitor. You walk in a bar, you do your jumping heel click. If you don't so that, well partner, we draw. That's how our pappies did it and their pappies before em, and that's the way we like it!
You can just see the gambling machines sucking the life and what little money they have right out of the people there.
Thank you! man you deserve recognition.
Thank you Nick for bringing us these videos.
I love Montana. I wish I could survive in that weather but it gets way too cold for me. It’s such a beautiful state though.
Millennial in the house 🥳🥳🥳 i agree Nick that is some beautiful prairie land, and hill country. But that's a lot of driving from town to another, awesome video Nick 👍 👍👍👍
Montana is truly beautiful!
All those small towns, the quietness, vast spaces and freedom are like a wonderful Time Machine!
I like it!
Best wishes
Never been to Montana looks like fun 🤩! Always wanted to go visit there and Idaho, Wyoming !
The conversation with the people you met made this video much better.
Thanks for bringing real America to the rest of the world Nick. Really enjoy your videos.
Just like Texan's, move there yesterday, buy a hat and fake and accent.
@SmittyAZ Ha! But far from Australia though.
Ok Scott!
Great Video Nick, This Was Like a Virtual Vacation Road Trip Seeing Other Places, People and Lifestyles Of Our Beautiful Country. Those Picturesque Mountainviews Were Mesmerizing, Thank You and Them Montanans Who You Spoke With Too.
Beautiful place but bit too boring
It seems to me that if you don't drink or gamble the towns in Montana don't have much to offer for entertainment.
Another excellent report, Nick. Always enjoy watching your exploits. Keep 'em going.
We drove from NC to Glacier National Park last September. Backroads all the way. We spent 2 1/2 weeks driving all over Montana. It’s beautiful, different beautiful than Appalachia, but we loved it.
Radioshack still exists as a broken chain that escaped bankruptcy. It's rare enough to be a novelty, but they are still out there.
Another epic report from Nick, the man well travelled. I was lucky to have visited Montana back in 2000, as a Brit, brought up in rural Devon, Montana was like a saviour (after spending three months living and working in LA) I took a road trip to Missoula, and just WOW, I’ll forever remember the landscapes I witnessed. I remember hiking a snowy trail to Garnet, a ghost town out of season…. I was the only one there. If I ever come back to the States, I’d very much love to see the rest of what this beautiful state offers. Great work sir.
Nick, this is one of your best videos. Your narrative is wonderful!
Paul! 🤠
I broke down in Lavina at 9:30 am in -14⁰ weather right behind the Cozy Corner, if they wouldn't have been open me and my wife would have died from hypothermia. There were like 7 people in there already lol. Had a couple drinks and shot pool while we waited the 2 hrs for a tow truck to get there. The people there are really cool, they're just cautious of outsiders. My wife flirted with the owner you interviewed and he opened right up lol, they're good people.
❤
Finally, Nick went to church. Our prayers are being answered.
Whatever
We have been to a few cowboy churches here in New York at real barns with real animals…and of course real believers God Bless
Yes, cowboy church! Once I moved to Northern California I attended a Bible study from cowboy church in Yuba City. Such good people! Haven't found much of that in regular churches 😔. Last decade before octogenarian. I don't think I'll ever find a church without insider cliques or pastors gone bad. Good to know God never changes and Jesus is always with us. God bless.
Back in the 1970s, in Riverside County, California, Cowboys for Christ used to hold meetings at my ranch. Great people and wonderful times back then. It is truly sad what California has turned into. Hopefully, the few places in the United States where it is still rural remains that way, just getting enough fresh faces and families to replenishes and sustain their viable population numbers. GOD bless and may HIS peace be with You
Not 5 minutes in and the beauty there!!! What a gorgeous state!!!
Good stuff. That’s the only part I miss about Montana is the rural towns.
I like how Nick makes total fun of Montana and people in the comments think it’s a compliment
Montana is the greatest. I live in very rural Utah in a mountain cabin; in my life before I lived in the cities (and worldwide in the military); until you have lived in the woods you won't appreciate what it is like, but once you have done so, you will never want to go back. Rural folk (like the entire state of Montana) cringe like I do when they visit a monstrocity like Salt Lake City. We count the seconds until we are out of there.
Agreed. I live in the woods in a small town in NH. Boston and NYC are fun for a day or two but then I can’t wait to get back to my simple quiet life.
Truth 💯🙌🏼🇺🇸💗🇺🇸 Support your local meat growers, farmers markets, mom & pop stores. Keep America Great Again.
You caught a quick view of Evil Kinevil's home behind the head frame in shot 1:07:25. It is in the evergreens beside the hospital naturally.
What wow!!
I lived in Bozeman for a year. The Bridger mountains were fab 😊😊😊
Its very entertaining how Nick's various avatars channel his subject matter. Wonderfully educational visual documentaries!
Thank you Nick for this excellent video 👍👍👏👏 the main thing wrong with Montana is the cold winters.
Thanks for the video Nick, Cheers mate 😊
Another good job, Nick. You've brought to light another attractive relocation spot for my list, very appealing. Montanans appear to be people after my own heart because, as it applies to where I want to live and never leave, that place has to be a place where the excitement is sporadic and the peace CONSTANT.
... .
Much love to Butte America....well done.
This is the best Montana video ever!
Loving all your adventures. You are doing a wonderful job. 🙂
It`s a pure joy watching Montana , great people, great nature, thanks Nick
Montana looks beautiful
Insert unique of music from the 60's and 70's, It made me feel nostalgic and coincidentally reminded me of being at Great Falls today in 2007. I was just amazed and grateful. 😂 Thxxx Nick❣
I lived in one of those prairie towns in the 80" s., Chester, MT (pop. 800) in the north central part of the state. Those towns are also disappearing. Great interviews once again.
I accidentally run over your video and I am enjoying watching it. It’s so real and hilariously described. Love it. You are quite a character.🤣😍

Coming eventually
The winters in Montana are BRUTAL. It's similar to like watching those documentaries of Antartica🤪 Beautiful place to visit in the summer. I would not survive the weather. Been there done that. The lady.."people go home and watch movies."😂 wow
It's really not that bad. Most days the highs are near freezing, with just a few day span once or twice a season where it drops far into the negatives. I'm only guessing but I'd say 70% of days between November and March the high is in the 30's or higher.
I guess it depends where you are though, the eastern flat half of the state probably averages quite a bit colder. I live just outside Glacier NP, and can only really testify to my area and the Flathead Valley.
Another great video Nick!!! They get better and better!!! Thought that was the starting of a major western movie.. lol
Have a Beautiful Trip Nick!!❤
Love your humor! )))))
Hahaha your mustache is hilarious.... As always another great video❤
GREAT overture music choice ! It sets the scene.
Great video Nick!
I’d love to try some of that Huckleberry Ice Cream!
Thanks for going to Montana, so I don’t have to!
All kidding aside, it looks like an interesting place to visit, but even though I lean conservative, I’d be bored shitless there.
I don’t drink, but would probably take it up if I lived in Montana!
Thanks again Nick for another fun video. I really enjoy your traveling videos. ❤
Ok Laura.
A+ video!
Awesome tour and overview of Montana!
You're late! ❤️
I drove through Montana in 2021 on a week long road trip. Absolutely one of most beautiful states I’ve ever driven through. I stayed in Red Lodge for two days. It was a cool little mountain town

How awesome, I’m planning a trip there soon. Please don’t change Montana.
The Coffee Corral in Round Up also offers fresh eggs at times. A big town is the city. Miles City.
Western Montana is breathtaking. The state if full of nice people with great values.......hope it stays that way.
Amazing views! The Big Sky Country looks much like Altai. Keep on great work! Watching from Russia
I kid you not Nick....A few years ago I was watching a You Tube channel "Crusing the cut". It was a guy on a narrow boat in England filming his travels on the man made canals there. I mentioned to him that his video's were so good that I could see him having a series on Netflix. Less than 6 months later his videos were on Netflix. I mention this as I get that same possible feeling from yours. Great Montana video!
I accidentally run across your video and I am enjoying watching it. It’s so real and hilariously described. Love it. You are quite a character.🤣😍I love Montana, There’s a lot of unbelievable natural beauty of the state. I have been to the state twice and every once in a while I watch a video on UA-cam on one of the best scenic drive in America the Bear Tooth Mountain. Been to Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. It amazes how beautiful this state is.
You can say that again
I love Montana. However, Nick, I suggest going back to those rolling hills and flat plains of eastern Montana in the winter, when the wind won't stop, the snow blows sideways, and there you are, stuck in a small house (or in your case a small casino) with the wind blowing nonstop day after day after day. That'll either put some hair on your chest or drive you insane. Montana in the summer is one experience. The winters are surreal.
loves that agriculture convoy :)
You are HILARIOUS!
Hey you. Good ta see ya. I love Montana. Whitefish is awesome. Bierstube Bar. Looks awesome Nick 🐾😎
Whitefish is awesome? I drive through Kalispell and whitefish every once in a while. Worst part of my drive. Only one road so can't avoid it. When I'm in Montana, the last place I want to be is in a city.
awesome video Nick 🎉❤❤
I don't think Mrs Mappy would like to visit Montana. There's only 14 Walmart stores 😢
She's into Gucci now
Love it
.beautiful as always Nick

So cool...love the content..watching from a small country town stanthorpe..Queensland Australia
my boyfriend worked with an older gentleman who used to live in montana on a ranch with his dog back in the day. (we live in upstate ny) the stories he told us were priceless and it seems like it’s an entirely different world out there. i’d love to visit for a vacation and maybe even live in that region of the US. he brought in pictures from when he was in montana of us to see and it was beautiful. wish i were there.🙂
Thanks Nick. I absolutely want to move to Montana.
Hope you have half a million bucks to spend on some basic little house with barely any land

Great videos, good topics, great editing, and you've got common sense and logic .
Hey man, hope you and yours are doing well. Have a great rest of the week and a good weekend when you get to it, be safe out there.

I agree with the last guy if you move to another state you have to fit in not the other way around
Montana and its Big Skies. Amen ❤️🙏🇺🇲💯👋👋 Bringing back Sanity to America. Good one young man ❤️🙏👋👋
Great to see the Raido Shack, I remember going into them just to see the new stuff on display.
I went through Montana when driving back from Alaska back in 1992. I first stopped and visited Glacier National Park. Couple days later stayed at Billings at a Motel 6, "We'll leave the light on for you." After that drove east into South Dakota in the way back home, but stopped at Mount Rushmore and the Badlands.
Fun!
Yellowstone Park is closing it's roads temporarily due to heavy snow today. It can snow any month of the year in Montana. I've seen it.
Love your videos, bro! Amazing job!
Glad you like them Alex!
