I miss the days when they made special "thank you" stuff like this at the end of games, especially prevalent in GameCube games. Feels good after completion!
Don Demitri nintendo is still good about doing that. I remember beating mario galaxy 100% the first time (first game i ever hundred percented) i cried at the “thank you so much, for a playing my game!”
Fun Fact: I've beaten Luigi's Mansion MANY times growing up just to hear the ending credits song growing up. To this day it's still one of my favorite games of all time. Thank you for taking me back all those years with this fantastic rendition :D
Yeah me too I've beaten this game so many times I can't even count how many one of my favorite games ever very nostalgic for me too and this song is very very nostalgic for me.
Exactly. I don't understand why Let's Plays get 1 million subscribers despite how effortless it takes to make those videos compared to something as awesome as this video. I guess people like and subscribe based on what they like, not based on how much effort the person behind the video put, which is rather sad, but that's how it is on the Internet
It seems it's Luigi's Mansion week :D Glad to see someone else doing something from this amazing game! Great job, love that bass tone! Also Luigi Cosplay FTW.
Ok, like, it is just absurd - is there an instrument you cannot play? I think, even if somebody would give you the most unique and rare instrument, you would quickly understand how it works and start to play it in an hour or two! Plus, I would really like to say, that the way you perform music is just great! All these faces, and mouvements, and stuff - really funny and really good, keep it up :3
I wish I knew how to make synth sounds like that. I've had several good ideas for a LM1 styled soundtrack. Great job man, nearly brought me to tears with nostalgia.
Great cover it matched the magic of the original song. It is also one of my favorite games for the gamecube and just in general too. Edit: This also reminded me of when I first beat the game like 7 or 8 years ago been loving the credits theme ever since.
The production value in this video is amazing! This is amazing. The tones, that bass work, the synths, and the horn section. The intro blasted me to the past, like I was listening to some 70's funk right off the bat! When the horns came in, I was blown away! Pun, very much so intended. I am just stunned to see how far you have come from your older material, and it has been cool seeing that progression over time. Fantastic work, buddy! :D
God this is amazing! God this is just...amazing! I am so grateful you exist man you deserve to don’t let anybody talk you down and ignore hate in automatically subscribing man this is so awesome
This is a really sick cover! Has a really awesome synth arrangement, is spoopy, and has the Thunderscott charm that I've really come to know and love! Happy Halloween, and thanks for the cover! Also, now I really want to play Luigi's Mansion again, dang it!
Awesome! :D I'm working on learning guitar and drums (already learned piano), and this motivates me to keep going! How did you learn every instrument btw?
I want to know if doing covers like this one has helped you learn more about arrangement. This end credit sequence appears to be fairly layered and complex. Lots of moving parts. Have you taken any lessons you’ve learned here into some of your own original work? I am a musician myself, and it’s so fascinating to see how much composition work went into this end credits theme. So few people ever get to hear it. I suppose that’s why it’s so well made. It’s a reward.

They still did that in Mario Odyssey.
In fact, a lot of Nintendo games still do it.
that Luigi finger gun spin. it perfectly captures Luigi's uncertainty and awkwardness
Yes, but, it also captures luigis kinda adorable awkwardness!
This is REALLY well made man, look at you busting out that synth! Really great work on all this stuff :)
Thanks so much! I've been meaning to use it in a cover synth I got it. :^)
ThunderScott hahaha =P jokessss
ok but can we talk about how adorable he is?
The jazz hands at the end make this.
Am I allowed to say that you're freaking adorable? I saw the thumbnail and was like "Oh boy here we go" and then we went.
Looked/sounded amazing. :D

Such a great but horribly overlooked song. Awesome cover man!
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen
This deserves 9 million views not 9000. This is such a masterpiece I listen to it all the time. Very awesome.
