Fun fact: If you're wearing headphones (or earbuds) at 1:20, you'll notice how luigi whistles the song smoothly on your left ear, but mario whistles it a bit badly on your right ear. Seeing how luigi whistled that tune a ton during the game and mario hasn't even learned of the tune yet, he's just starting to learn it as of that part.
They actually are, some other comment pointed out that 2 whistles can be heard using headphones and one is perfect and the other is just learning the tune
A week ago I finally beat this game and all I can say was, I was sad. This game is so good and I'll never forget the feeling of hearing this masterpiece of a song in the credits. I kept saying "What a Adventure..." because this was such good game. I hope there will be a fourth luigis mansion (as long as it's good).
I've had this game for over 10 years, I just now beat it a week ago. One hell of a ride I say, even if it was a short few hours of gameplay, I enjoyed every second of it!
I have finished this game a lot of times (more than 40 times!) because I love it! This was my first game on my Nintendo Gamecube and yes, I got Rank A.
I must of completed it the same amount of times, collected all the gold and boos and always only ever got a B. It was the fucking golden mice that escaped me
1:20 Whenever I hear the whistling portion, I picture the reunited Bros. casually walking down the forest trail home, bopping their heads to the music as they hold each others’ shoulders.
My best friend came over and played this game with me until we beat it and as soon as the credits started we danced together. We were SO tired from staring at my TV for like eight hours it was so fun.
I refuse to believe this game is about to turn 20 years old. I can't help but get teary eyes as I remember the happiest years of my life by listening to one of the most satisfying endings in videogame history. Sublime even. I really hope I can be this happy in life again. That's the only thing I want.
Just finished replaying this Game in 2 short sessions. Didn‘t grew up with it (my introduction was the 3DS Remaster) but still a flawless masterpiece in my eyes. Only real complaint you could have is that its super short but I think that makes it so re-playable and charming
I love how this game became the best-selling GameCube launch title despite the amount of criticism it got, and after 20 years it's very easy to see why it aged so well (much like Shadow the Hedgehog (the GCN version to be more precise) and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty). Cope & seethe, IGN - Nintendo nowadays (2018 to present day) will _never_ be as good as they were back then.
What a time to grow up in. The awesomeness of the GameCube and Xbox. Kirby Right Back At Ya Sonic X Sonic now multi platform Sega and Nintendo working together. Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes being one of the best Sonic games at the time. The GBA and DS
Good job Luigi! I just imagine him celebrating to this song shakin his little butt while Mario facepalms himself. They don’t make em like they used to!
the games doesn't look that bad for an old game. looks better than the 3ds one they should have remade it on switch but we all know that the gamecube system was supposed to be nintendo's first 3d system so i'm guessing they are going to remake as it was originally supposed to be played.
I Never got past the first room in the original game when i was 6 because i was so scared of the ghosts but now im 11 and i bought the 3ds remake and beat the game!
I'm returning to this video for no reason but the thing that got me into this game was the ghosts. I'm autistic and one my autistic obsessions is ghostbusters, you can see why I love this game now lol

Luigi had lots of practice during the game lol

Is anyone else having a hard time dealing with the fact that this game is already 15 years old?
+TheRealE1337ist Mentally telling myself that it's less than half that amount..
Herobrine Persson Don't I just wish.
+TheRealE1337ist I'm still trying to deal with the fact this game was way more difficult than I remember.
Shhh you're making others feel old
Not at all.
Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Luigi's Mansion 3 were great but this game just has that _feel_ that no other game has.
I've never played this version but I saw gameplay and listened to the soundtrack so I see why people love it lol

First game on GameCube and favorite game ever to this day, I don’t think that’ll ever change to be honest
One of the best video games of all time for me :)
The Luigi Mansion series felt like it was a collection of movies
Like Haunted Mansion
Most fire Nintendo song out of all of them.

Also, only 2 voice actors? I know Martinet did Mario and Luigi, can I guess the other guy did E. Gadd?
+Gamez Geek Strangely, E. Gadd's voice actor wasn't credited.
+Red9378 That's odd... maybe there's a whole load of uncredited voice actors. It would explain a lot, two seems like too little XD
+Gamez Geek Let's see..., King Boo, Bowser, and pretty much every single ghost in the game.
Lol. Also, do you know who Jen Taylor voiced? Can't think of any other characters in the game.
Is it Toad? That's the only other character I can think of.
Wow. 20 years… who else remembers playing this on Christmas 2001? I was in kindergarten and this was my first video game ❤️

Best Luigi's Mansion in the series in my opinion.
When the school year ends.
