Silly.question, will.static electricity, form carpet, if any,.cause a short issue with your track electronics .
The track looks good & runs good too. It should provide you many hours of enjoyment. Do you have any future plans to install a lap counter? That SCC wiring kit sure helps cut down the wiring time. Noice job!

What gauge wire wire would you recommend?
14 Gauge is sufficient for home track

Do not need jumpers it is not a plastic track

@@nflpicks4920 there are kits for plastic tracks as well for wiring it.
