      Rafał J thanks so much. It’s still one of my favourite instruments. A real tone dog. Cheers

    Thanks for your beatiful review! Question: Are those guitars heavy on the neck like a tele? Or well balanced?

    • @NickGranville
      @NickGranville  7 років тому +1

      Thanks. It's super balanced I've found. The body is lightweight and resonant. The body is comfortable too cause of the rounded edges. This is quickly becoming my favourite guitar and I'm heading more towards making it the only one I use - just can't leave my Sco model guitar alone. ha.

    Hi! Is this Ibanez TM well balanced (hanging up on your shoulder) when you play it standing or tend to go down from the headstock to the floor? Thank you very much!

      These guitars are very well balanced IMO. The AR420 as I mentioned is a little headstock heavy but not this guitar. Still, can always combat the AR by using a leather strap. Then there is no movement. No worries with the Talmans at all. Super comfortable.

    Great review! Is there a big difference in the playability between the prestige model and the tm302. I don't know if I should just buy one seymour duncan single coil and a lipstick and install it in the standard one.

      +Bucks Absente there is a difference in build quality and components. It's not huge, but like anything you pay more for smaller gains that add up. If you can afford one of these I'd recommend it highly, but if not the standard is fine. One thing I've learnt the hard way is - always go for the best, then you won't need to upgrade down the line. Cheers

    neck shape? what's it comparable to in the FendGib world?

    • @NickGranville
      @NickGranville  7 років тому

      +bebenavole difficult to explain. I found the neck comfortable. Best to try it if in doubt. I have no idea what a fendgib is so can't help with that sorry.

      +bebenavole now I think about it, do you mean fender or gibson neck? If so, I'd say somewhere in the middle. It's not 50's Les Paul big and not strat size either, just comfortable.

      I'd say it's closer to a Music Man neck in feel.

      I agree with Brian. Similar to a music man.

    Nick, I can tell you're censoring yourself, and as soon as the camera is off you shout "Strat, Strat, Strat" and "Tele, Tele, Tele" to get it out of your system ;-)
