- Živjo! Kako si? :)
I'm sorry for not posting for almost a month! But I have been working on something for you! :) I hope you will like it and that it will be useful! I will talk about it a bit more in my next video!
In today's video we will learn the song "Vse najboljše" - Happy Birthday in Slovene!
I'm not a singer (I can never hit the high note in the birthday song 🙈) But I hope that you will still like the video and that it is useful! :)
Also, the song has the same melody as it does in English! :D Which I believe makes it easier to learn!
Hvala for watching! :)

Thank you. Trying to impress my special guy with this birthday song 🤗🥰
LOVELY! I am just learning how to speak in Slovenian. I am from Argentina. Thanks!
Hi! Thank you so much for the nice comment! So happy to hear you are learning Slovene! 😊 Živjo from Ljubljana! 👋
I love slovenia so much 😘🥰🥰
Thank youuu so much, I sang it to my Slovenian partner, and he loved it!! (I'm Mexican, this video was so helpful)
Thanks for this video! I just sang this song to my Slovenian friend Zlatko. 👍
Thank you so much! The video is awesome and just what I was looking for it.
Yay! 😃 It makes me so happy to hear this! ☺️💖
On 28 February, I will sing this on Luka’s birthday while he is playing!!
Hvala! Sadly, where I reside, no one even knows where Slovenia is. I hate where I live.
Ni problema. Še bolje, da smo skriti pred tem norim svetom.
Thank you so much. This is just what I needed. Our family of 148 people are planning to sing Happy Birthday to our Mother who will be 100 years old in June. I was wondering if you could possibly add a video to sing the second verse we usually sing as Catholics. We sing "May the Dear Lord Bless You" as the second verse as a tradition of our Grandmother from Yugoslavia and our Mom. She never leaves out that verse so was hoping to find a way to learn that as well. Thanks so much.
Hvala Lepa pretty lady. You helped me greatly with my Teta Ana on her 86th in LJU!
Yay! 😃💕
Thank you!! I've been slowly learning slovene and I'm learning to say this to my friend for his birthday!
Fab… tank you x
A friend and I used your video to practice this for another friend. Great video, thank you so much!
Yay! So happy to hear that! 😃
@@alja7435 Hey Alja, this is a little bit crazy. I was just looking on couchsurfing for hosts in Slovenia (I live in Graz) and then remembered how much I liked your video! Do you have a profile on couchsurfing? Warm regards, Kevin.
Long time no see. Молодец. Looking forward to seeing your new videos and phrases in Instagram (you know it’s more useful to learn Slovene remembering phrases rather than just words so I totally support your new approach). One more thing for your consideration - it would be great if a stress letter in words (in examples you additionally give in comments in Instagram or somewhere) is indicated in bold text or by the accent mark. Hvala lepa in advance
Omg, I could have totally sang this to my darling it is very simple. Hvala Alja 😘.
Thanks - i needed that !
Yay! Happy to hear this! :D
Живйо! А у нас ещё "пусть бегут неуклюжа..." поют на день рождения. Интересно, на словенское как бы она звучала? :)
Неуклюже
The first vu and comment 💪😍🇩🇿
Yay! :D Thank you! :)
Hi Alijo, once I have written DRAGA(meaning dear in English) , however the actual meaning is honey, sweetheart.
Hi! Yes, it has a couple meanings! But for example, when we write letters we tend to begin with "Dragi" or "Draga"! Same as in English "Dear" :) I believe it just depends on the context. :)
@@alja7435 your are absolutely right. People slowly especially in my case.
@@RaviProf There are so many meanings to some words! :D
How cool!!!!
Hvala!! :)
Nice to see you! Is your guitar a classical style with nylon strings? I play a Guild slim line.
Živjo! Yes! It's a classical style with nylon strings! :) Wow! You have a Guild?! They make amazing guitars and basses!! Awesome! :D
