  • Živjo! Kako si? :)
    I'm sorry for not posting for almost a month! But I have been working on something for you! :) I hope you will like it and that it will be useful! I will talk about it a bit more in my next video!
    In today's video we will learn the song "Vse najboljše" - Happy Birthday in Slovene!
    I'm not a singer (I can never hit the high note in the birthday song 🙈) But I hope that you will still like the video and that it is useful! :)
    Also, the song has the same melody as it does in English! :D Which I believe makes it easier to learn!
    Hvala for watching! :)

    Hvala! Sadly, where I reside, no one even knows where Slovenia is. I hate where I live.

    Thank you so much. This is just what I needed. Our family of 148 people are planning to sing Happy Birthday to our Mother who will be 100 years old in June. I was wondering if you could possibly add a video to sing the second verse we usually sing as Catholics. We sing "May the Dear Lord Bless You" as the second verse as a tradition of our Grandmother from Yugoslavia and our Mom. She never leaves out that verse so was hoping to find a way to learn that as well. Thanks so much.

      @@alja7435 Hey Alja, this is a little bit crazy. I was just looking on couchsurfing for hosts in Slovenia (I live in Graz) and then remembered how much I liked your video! Do you have a profile on couchsurfing? Warm regards, Kevin.

    Long time no see. Молодец. Looking forward to seeing your new videos and phrases in Instagram (you know it’s more useful to learn Slovene remembering phrases rather than just words so I totally support your new approach). One more thing for your consideration - it would be great if a stress letter in words (in examples you additionally give in comments in Instagram or somewhere) is indicated in bold text or by the accent mark. Hvala lepa in advance

    Hi Alijo, once I have written DRAGA(meaning dear in English) , however the actual meaning is honey, sweetheart.

    • @alja7435
      @alja7435  4 роки тому +1

      Hi! Yes, it has a couple meanings! But for example, when we write letters we tend to begin with "Dragi" or "Draga"! Same as in English "Dear" :) I believe it just depends on the context. :)
