I love your quilt. ❤ I'm so glad you made a puff quilt. I knew it would be beautiful. Do you have to tie it down with the embroidery thread before you sew the backing on? Thank you for an easy project. 🙂
Puff quilts are pretty.: but, are they warm to sleep under? Do they lose their shape when stored? Does the batting shift or ball up inside the puffs when washed? Using them to make a cushion or pillow cover may be a better idea. However, a cushion or a pillow will flatten down over use and time.Usually washing and machine drying them will fluff them up again. Your green and white Puff quit is beautiful.
Puff quilts are really pretty! I just love how it puffs up. This is my first time making this type of quilt. I know for sure that each square is going to hold up, because each side has been sewn down. So, the stuffing is going no where. I would really think washing and drying it would puff it back into place. The only thing I see that could go wrong is where I tied it down on each corner. That could come un-done but they are still all sewn together. So you could just re-tie and have that problem fixed in no time. It is a really soft quilt. If you wanted to make it softer you could add batting also. I chose not to do that. Thank you for your questions and thanks for watching!
