    There is no place for “hot glue” on such a work of art. Use fabric glue if you have to or embroidery floss and hand stitch. 🇨🇦

      I don't plan on washing it, so it should stay fine. I am using a hot glue gun. Thanks for watching!

    Suggestion: instead of using the expensive knit interfacing which has stretch and not needed for this project, use something like Pellon SF101. It's a medium weight interfacing used with woven fabrics. Alternatively, lightweight Pellon P44F or midweight Pellon 931D would also work. They are also considerably less expensive and designed to work with woven fabrics like cotton.

    I tried the fabric on a whim and found that it's actually really decent stuff! Now I use it a lot. I find it's similar in quality to what I can get at Joann's and Hobby lobby !

    I really love this!  ❤ But, I wonder if you can answer a question please. What do you do if you actually run out of rope before you finish? I have searched everywhere for a video on this and cannot find a single one. I've found umpteen videos on how to attach fabrics etc but nothing to help with attaching more rope to finish a project. Thank you.

      On some of my videos I show how you add another rope. What I do is I get my seam ripper to help hold the new rope in place as I start sewing I feed it where I need it to go. I hope that makes sense. Good luck!

    What are the stitch settings on your machine it looks the same as mine a singer? I am trying to learn this so want to be sure thank you!

      When I do the zigzag stitch, I always go with the largest setting. You can play with it, you may not need to go that big. I set mine on 6. I hope that helps. Good luck!

    What you are doing with the photocopy paper ~ I was taught how to do this on foundation fabric so that it would actually stay on the foundation fabric permanently ~ you may want to try this ~ it’s less wasteful and less time consuming!! The foundation fabric is just a plain solid cotton fabric usually white!!
