I am 100% a beginner so consider that when I say this lol. I HATED this turner :( I have had it for a week and did my first 3 cups. I could list about 5 things I don't like about it and only one positive... And the positive is that it spins which is the #1 thing I needed lol. And now that I know it spins slower than other turners, some dripping issues I was having make more sense now. But everything else was not worth it. It IS too close to the bracket, I put parchment paper under the cup while I'm working on it but glitter still got all over the top area more than I would have liked. I had to do a weird layer and cut some parchment to get better coverage around the bracket. I found out the hard way that resin did drip on the bracket when I went to check on my 2nd tumbler it had stopped spinning and most of the epoxy had dripped off the cup. I tried to keep distance after that, but lost stability because I had to pull it further back. I will say that it did ok enough for me to know that making tumblers is something I want to continue doing and get better at. I have ordered a better turner and won't be making any more tumblers until I get it!
I totally agree. I only used it to do a few videos, otherwise it was junk. I built my own turners. A couple made of crates and then I made 2 6cup turners that were really nice.
I just bought the turner like seconds ago and went to lowes and just bought a pvc pipe just to extend the cup from the bracket thing
You can get extra foam pieces at Hobby Lobby too. They are $4.99
I just brought one yesterday and was able to use a coupon. You can use a coupon on any item that isn’t on sale and is not food.
Got this today I use glue for the foam
i just brought mine for 10.00. you can get it on line.
I bought this Turner. I squirted gorilla glue inside my foam and placed it on the pipe so far so good
Asalamualaikum wrohmatulaahiwabarokatuh maaf barangkali adakata2yng. Kurang menyenangkan mohon maaf sebesar2nyah yah amin
You can also use a little bit of electrical tape to tape the 3/4 of an inch pipe to the arm and they just remove it when you take it off
I think i got it wrong. Its 1/2 inch pipe. And i just remove the tape and it can be removed and try elsewhere
How would this work if using crystalac??
@@stephaniematthews2515 never used the so I don't have any recommendations

My only problem is the slowness of it lol
That's why I liked it for my videos but not for normal use.
Do we know the rpm? I have this one and it is much slower than my other turner
@@lkogs not sure the rpms. Way slower than my hand built ones
