Just built mine. I picked FX4 and it allowed me to have 3.55 rear. Built it at dealer and a deposit with same thing.
Nice! Maybe they fixed it for 24
How long did it take for truck to come in ?
I ordered when it was bad.. Took a little over a year. Orders now seem to take 3-4 months
I’m going to the dealer Wednesday for a recall on my 21 F250,I’m going to order a new one.
24’s are getting scheduled quickly.. We shall see what this strike does..
I got my build date and VIN for my 2024 F350 Lariat. Right now it says October 18th but I will believe that when I see it.
Same, mine's week of October 9th. But I've heard enough horror stories to know not to get my hopes up even after it's built cause it could still take months to ship (and possibly get damaged in shipment).
Congrats! it’s crazy waiting 18 months for an order.. I am hoping they don’t go on strike..
2024? My 2023 is suppose to be built this week. When did you order the 24?
When banks opened for 24.. Any trucks built in Kentucky after Oct 1 are 24’s
@@RockyRohde I just got notified my 23 was built and is waiting shipment to the dealer. My dealer made a duplicate order for a 24 in July because my 23 order was still showing supply chain issues. Now I have to decide if I want to get this 23 or wait for the 24. If I wait my trade in is going to lose value. If I get the 23 then it will be a model year old in weeks. Tough decision.
It really seems like 3.55’s are worth a lot more than the FX4 package. You can get the locker and skid plates from the fx4 separately, and have 3.55’s so what good is it really?

Was it only the Limited that you couldn’t get the 3.55’s with the FX4? I ordered both with my 2024 Platinum.
No it’s all trucks.. FX4 will have 3.31 and 3.55 will have a 4x4 sticker. You can build it on ford site and the FX4 removes 3.55
@@RockyRohde that’s interesting. I meant to say above, I ordered my 2024 Platinum with 3.55 and FX4. I guess we shall see how it comes out. It didn’t remove the option at the end of the build either.
At this point, who knows when it will arrive though, lol!
I ordered a platinum with 3.55’s and checked my order sheet…sure enough it isn’t an FX4.
@@kevlabauve I wish I could attach the photo of mine. I ordered mine 2024 F350 Platinum with 3.55’s and FX4 package, confirmed. I have a build date and all. I’ve seen stickers all over FB even of trucks specced out just like mine. I just am not sure if your guys’ dealers are saying it can’t happen, or what, but even the actual Ford website will allow you to build it with both packages.
@@RockyRohdemine did not. My dealer also built FX4 with 3.55
Any update on your 24 order?
11/27 as of now.. it pushed 30 days due to strike
