Great video!! When I ordered my F350 lariat ultimate H/O Blackout Tremor they sent me my MSRP when I ordered it at $98,000. When I went to pick it up the MSRP jumped to $106,000. So I literally waited a year of anticipation and excitement and when I got there the price was $8000 more? I refused to purchase it at that price and they refused to honor the price given to me at purchase.. shame on you ford
Did your contract at the time of order have an escalator clause that allowed the dealer to increase the price at delvery?!! It doesn't sound like they explained it to you! If not, they need to keep the constract agreement at the old ordered price!!!
Great video. I have many of the same complaints on my 23 f350. I slid a jet sled with 200lb bear inside of it into the bed and the plastic sled literally removed all of the paint/primer. I already had a lineX appointment, but that's pretty whimpy paint. Brake dust buildup is terrible on front wheels. Those duratracs work great for me up in the northern Michigan snowbelts. I've been running same tire/size since 2018 on ram & ford trucks
@@CTECH-REVIEW Another Michigan guy here... 2024 F-350 Tremor 7.3 on order. I just couldn't justify the additional $13k for the diesel (and the EPA emissions crud). I am hoping I am not disappointed by the 7.3. I currently don't have to deal with a trailer so...
On the brake dust, it has been all fords I’ve driven from my personal truck, to all our work trucks whether 250 or 150. It’s worse with ford/motorcraft pads. On my personal moving to Bosch ceramic pads helped immensely though I do feel like I lost some bite.
Mine has a few paint imperfections on the bed, one on the rear bumper and another on the back of the cab, very annoying for a vehicle with a $90K+ MSRP. I plan to get the Platinum center console leather trimmed pieces to replace the creaky plastic ones in my Lariat Ultimate but I do need to figure out P/N's for those and make sure that the leather is close or the same. I do wish that we got the LED Projector head lights on our Lariat Ultimates but the LED reflectors are pretty good so not a big deal. The seat belt menu screen is super annoying and needs to be handled by Ford ASAP, no need for that. I had a 2021 Cummins and the engine braking was stellar, the Ford doesn't even come close but it's better than the current Duramax. The HUD not working well with polarized sunglasses is a fail but you can see it clearly by slightly tilting your head to the side, not ideal but it does work. Lastly, the camera quality/resolution is trash, it's not as bad as the 2010-2022 Toyota/Lexus vehicles but it should be a lot better.
I had those tires on my new truck in 2016. Goodyear had a solid 100% guarantee on those tire not to have any vibration back then. I took it in with on 4k on the new truck & Goodyear replaced 2 or the 4 tires no questions asked. Dont know if its still the same now but i got great service out of them. I too, have 2023 f250 HO diesel Lariat & i feel your pain.. i went from an awesome 2021 f250 diesel to a mountain of issues, 23 to be exact. I have less than 5k on it & ford offered to fix it or buy it back right up front. Oh and My hub caps keep failing off. Do you have memory seats & steering wheel? Mine is supposed to go to the saved position each time you start up. Well the seat does but the steering wheel only makes it half way at times & i have to push the memory button to get it to finish the recalled settings. My main center screen like yours freezes on start up or just stayed blank and i have to restart the truck. I found a work around off youtube though. Hold the volume button and the right seek button in at the same time & that resets it. The buy back sounds great but theres nothing to replace it with & i must have a diesel to pull my heavy equipment with for my business. I told ford corp to find me the exact truck i ordered minus the issues & I'll do it. Good luck with yours.
Thanks for watching! sorry to hear about all your issues. I am very happy with the truck, I would still buy it again. I do have memory seats. It comes back every time for me. You may want to take it into the dealer and see if they can fix that. Get all of this documented! Best of luck!
Is there any advantage for the F350 tremor since the F250 Tremor has the same axle, gears and suspension? Sticker on the door is the only difference. Legal payload is different but in reality it's the same. Is the road noise with tires bad enough you can't make phone calls well? Truck is my mobile office.
Payload is reason to get F350 over F250...Around 1200lbs more payload. My Grand Design 5th Wheel would be over the legal payload of the F250. Tire noise is acceptable for phone calls, no issue there!
I totally agree about the brake dust I have a 21 SD diesel and the brake dust is very annoying. The waves in the body I was told is because at the factory the body gets heated up so much to bake the paint on its on the verge of where the aluminum has to be to work it or bend it. So it gets a little wavey. But that would be a little annoying too. I do love mine though. I tow a lot very heavy and it does very very good! I have used the same exact thing in the ram. My ford was a fair amount better and I dident have to have 2 transmissions in my ford either!
I have 3 ford trucks. All of them different gens and they all collect break dust fast. I think it's because the breaking ratio front to back is something like 80/20
As far as the console goes, i used my debit card and forced some of that nonslip shelving liner in between the two pieces of the console of my 21 cummins until it stopped squeaking and creaking.
I just received my ‘23 F-250 Lariat Tremor. I, too, was annoyed with the incandescent bulbs in the taillights especially as I had the Lariat Ultimate package. I contacted the service/parts at my dealer to see if there was plug-n-play LEDs from the Platinum, etc. They said unfortunately no since it required different plugs/harnesses. I imagine the same for the headlights, although I’m fine w/out the projectors.
as someone who did bodyworking for fords at a dealer and all I gotta say is stay with your standard bulb taillights idc what people say about the full led lights but the price when you need to replace them is insane and they are rly sensitive to water if you crack them esp the headlights they are expensive to replace in general if your headlight goes out from a crash there is a large chance the module is also broken and that is around 400 bucks along on top of the 1100 dollar per headlight
Sweet truck. I have a ‘24 250 on order but am wondering if I should change to a 1-ton. We plan on a possible 5th wheel in the future. Can you do a video on your towing capacities along with the 5th wheel you tow, showing your capacities on your door stickers? Thanks for all the great content on the Super Duty’s!
I have a 23 F250 Tremor HO Diesel and I am having shifting issues with the transmission, only 1000 miles on it and at a stoplight the truck was dead in the water, ignition was on but pressing accelerator wouldn't move the truck at all. Scary stuff, and every service department is saying 1-2 weeks before they can even diagnose the damn thing. Not to mention they won't give you a loaner...
yeah, that squeaking in the console is unacceptable! My 2014 tundra has done the same thing since I bought it new! Drives me crazy! In the cold months I have to blast the defrost on hot so I don't hear the dash rattle as well! 🤦
I have to add this comment... When you use the GPS, sometimes it shows on the instrument panel, and sometimes it dissapears. If they can get it to stay on, than I can keep the 12 inch screen on trailer camera mode all of the time

When talking about the diesel exhaust brake you compared it to the Cummins in the Ram. You've driven the Ram, but you're on your 10th Super Duty. Can you tell me, when comparing the two trucks, what keeps bringing you back to the Ford instead of going with Ram? I'm on my 3rd non-diesel Ram, but I've always wanted to upgrade to an HD diesel. As for the dash display, I agree completely. Waaayyyyy tooo complicated. Guess if a man or woman designed it? Yup, 'twas a gal who was in charge of sh!tshow. I hear the 2024s have stopped with that annoying menu that aks if you want to go back to your normal view ... every single time ... Mine seems to have a problem remembering my #1 seating position, and just wait until it decides the whole system needs a reset. You have to hold two button on the radio and your mouth just right to do that. Fortunately it isn't a monthly event to teach us men a lesson.
