You don't know what you're doing Your bits are chipping because at the end of your tests, when the screw head is deeper than length of the bit, it is only partially mating with the screw head. This is when the chipping occurs. You can even hear it. This was painful to watch. Bits will last much longer if they are always fully engaged in the screw head..
Check out the video by "Real Engineering" in the video description. In that video at about the 4min 50 second mark you will find that the design made by Henry Phillips in 1936 was designed to cause the screwdriver to slip out of the slot at a certain torque thus preventing workers from over damaging it and or the work piece. Thanks for watching! -Will
I think the point was to try a test to chip them. If you were to use them properly, even much cheaper dollar store ones will last at least through this test.
Good video even though sum people were confused with your testing. I had a feeling the XPS were superior. I’m on the shockwave platform but I will most likely change soon. Thank you
There seems to be a common confusion regarding this video. I think the guy is trying to abuse and chip them. Normally these any of the these will last for a long time. If you were to use them properly, even much cheaper dollar store ones will last at least through this test.

Stop the impact driver before you pull it out of the screw head it will help the bits last longer.
Enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work Will.
Thank you Aaron. Good to hear from you!

I've use milwaukee bits for months and they don't look that bad.
I guess I'm just aggressive. Thanks for watching!

Absolutely I was trying to abuse and chip them. We need something that lasts for our hard earned money.
