I have been getting a film or cloudy look on my glass tumblers

You may either not be heating it long enough. Your paper not tight enough or not hot enough. It sounds like ghosting

Can you do these in a mug press?

Yes you can. I didn’t have a mug press at the time so I only used my convection oven.

You just baked it in your oven? You don’t need a special heat press thing?

A dedicated convection oven. I got rid of my cup press I didn’t like the one I had and I found my convection oven did a much better job. You can’t use the convection oven for food once you sublimate in it so I have a dedicated convection oven just to sublimate cups

@@heartofitall have you ever used just plain glass to see if it’ll supplement on? Or have you ever used other materials heat pressing to glass?

@@geleahlolz regular glass won’t sublimate it needs to have polyester coating on it in order sublimate. However I have used htv on glass but do find after time it peels off and I’ve etched glass

Can we use regular printer ink?

No. You must use sublimation ink. Regular ink will no work.
