Thank you so much!!!👏🏽…. I purchased some 20oz sublimation frosted tumbler and I had no idea what temp to press them at but thanks to you they came out perfect!!! you’re awesome!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this!! Wished I found this tutorial earlier! I spent a lot of this glass cup for trials and error! Thank you thank you!!! Now I’m obsessed lol! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
I have questions... 1. What design software are you using? 2. When it's a full wrap, do the seams overlap a bit? 3. If the seam doesn't overlap , how do you get the perfect print size, and or how do you set your printer to print the correct size? 4. How fast do you remove the wrap after taking out of the press? 5. Also, why is everyone so varied on temp and time for the glass cans? It's all over the board..
They turned out sooo pretty! ♥️♥️ I just made my first frosted glass tumbler and I too did a pattern with a lemon but it turned out really light so I think I will go for darker colors next time.
Thanks for making this! I've been searching for a good clear video showing the process & results. Have you sublimated any more glass tumblers since this video? I'm wondering if you notice a difference in the way certain colors sublimate onto the frosted & clear.
Thank you very much. This is very nice video. Where would I find 4 ounce, 6 ounce and 8 ounce flass jars for sublimation? I am looking for a place to purchase online. Thank you
Yes! Lighter colors don’t show up on the clear so I always try and stay away from them for the clear. The darker the colors the better! Thanks for sharing this
Is that a PNW press? And do you get tape marks on your cups after it’s been sublimated? Your cups turned out beautiful, my personal preference are the frosted cups, although the design is a bit muted, I think they look beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial.
Hi! It’s from Vinyl Fun! And I don’t ever get tape marks. If you ever get tape marks then you need to reduce your pressure on your press. And I love the frosted as well. The colors show so much brighter!
How do you add media type paper on a MacBook? I don’t have the premium matte paper option. I do have a matte selection option on an espon 2720 printer.
Hi! I use an Epson ecotank 15000! I love it and that it can print the larger sizes! So you technically can put them in the dishwasher. I still always recommend hand washing though. But sometimes things happen and a dishwasher is needed so a random time in the dishwasher won’t hurt it. Epoxy resin cups should never go in the dishwasher though
I know this is from awhile ago, but a couple questions, what sub paper are you using, what ink did you use. where did you get the tape dispenser? I bought one,but it was terrible, so looking for another. thanks, great job btw, I will be trying this on my clear glass because I cannot get it to be right no matter what. :(
Hi!! I am soooooo sorry I am just getting back to you! It was the holiday and then I got super sick so I wasn't able to work at all and am getting caught up! I use a sub paper and printers jack ink! I have everything that I used linked so you can find them easily! They are all 3 from amazon! The tape dispenser I got works sooooo good! I have had some awful ones too so I was so happy to finally find a good one! Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!!
I have the same heat press...How did you Calibrate yours? I know there are 3 settings on it one for Temp one for time & last but but not least the setting for the what I think they call the RESTING # ??? I'm confused about that one 🤨🤔
Hi! Great question!! I use an Epson Ecotank 15000 that I converted to a sublimation printer and use sublimation printer! You do have to use a sublimation printer for this
I have changed up my tape a little since this video and do as much. Taping is totally personal preference though for sure. I’ve tried so many different ways to find what works best with my press
Thank you so much!!!👏🏽…. I purchased some 20oz sublimation frosted tumbler and I had no idea what temp to press them at but thanks to you they came out perfect!!! you’re awesome!!!

Yay! They are soooo cute! I am obsessed! I am so happy to know that this worked good for you!
I wish people would realize that with plain paper bright white you can get the best most amazing colors without wasting ink.
I turned out great. I enjoyed the video
These are so pretty.

I have questions...

Thanks a million! My first cup was a dud but I just used your time/temp on a new design and it came out great 😃
Yay! This made my day to read! So happy to hear this and glad it could help!
They turned out sooo pretty! ♥️♥️

Thanks! And yes with the glass I have found that the darker colors work the best for sure!

Yes I have! The frosted for sure shows up a lot more than the clear. If you do a clear glass cup just make sure you do darker colors!
My printer only has a photo matte setting, would this be the same?
Thank you very much. This is very nice video. Where would I find 4 ounce, 6 ounce and 8 ounce flass jars for sublimation? I am looking for a place to purchase online. Thank you
I love vinyl fun and they actually just got the smaller glass cups in!!
Learned today - lighter, softer colors stink on frosted glass! Can we talk about how it smells? It's a little alarming (if it's typical!)?
Yes! Lighter colors don’t show up on the clear so I always try and stay away from them for the clear. The darker the colors the better! Thanks for sharing this
And yes! The smell haha I don’t really notice it too much though. Or I’m just used to it haha
Are all the 16oz can glass the same size? I can't seem to fit the ones I purchase in my heat press.
Learned today use premium matte setting

Can you do this in a convection oven? Thank you for your video. Also would like to know where you purchased the glasses.
Yes you can! I just use my tumbler press but you can also do this in an oven!
How do you add media type paper on a MacBook? I don’t have the premium matte paper option. I do have a matte selection option on an espon 2720 printer.
Great question!! I have researched This sooo much and Epson matte is the same as presentation matte! So I use that setting and get great results!
Also I am sooo sorry I am just seeing thing and don’t know how I missed it!
Are these the 16oz tumblers? The press says it does 20 oz, so would these 16oz cups also work?
Hi! So this is a 16oz but a 20oz works exactly the same!
Hey! Awesome video! 2 questions. 1 what printer you use? And 2. Can you machine wash these glasses after they are sublimated?
Hi! I use an Epson ecotank 15000! I love it and that it can print the larger sizes! So you technically can put them in the dishwasher. I still always recommend hand washing though. I will make a video showing all of my settings!
@@TheColoredUmbrella Thank you so much 😊
If your design for these glasses is not a full wrap do you still need to rotate it Or can you just press it for 4 minutes straight??
If it’s not a full wrap it would just be the 120 seconds for that one side!
hi, is it 356 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit? thank you
Hi. I have the same question. Celsius or Fahrenheits?
Thank you ..
Hello I’m new to your channel!!😍 love it! By any chance do you know if I can sublimate these kinds of glass cups in the cricut mug press?
Hi!!! And yes you totally can!
What program do you use to print? I'm struggling so much to get something that prints the right size.
Great question! I always print from silhouette studio! I get the best results through there
What size tumbler are you using in the video?
Hi! This is a 16oz but I have also done a 17oz, 20oz and 25oz glass tumbler the same way and they have all worked perfect!
What makes the glass and plastic sublimation?
They have a special coating on them that allows them to be sublimated on! Its magic!
Are your glasses clear?😊
Where did you order your glasses with lids at?
Kupresso!
Hi! Do you print with a normal printer? Onto normal paper?
Hi! Great question!! I use an Epson Ecotank 15000 that I converted to a sublimation printer and use sublimation printer! You do have to use a sublimation printer for this
Are they 12 oz or 16 oz cups?
This is a 16oz cup but it’s the same no matter the size
What if u do it and it didn’t sublimate that well and leaves a white residue ?
This is actually super common! Just scrub it with the soap and water and that should go away and your colors will brighten up!
What is the temperature set and time?
356 for 120 seconds on each side
Does it have to be a sublimation glass or any glass?
It does have to be sublimation glass! It has to have the sublimation coating In order for the image to show. Great question!
Hi! Awesome video, what type of paper do you use?
Hi! Thanks so much! I love a sub paper! I have in my Amazon storefront under sublimation essentials and the link is in my profile!
Can you use an oven for this
Absolutely! Just not your oven that you use to cook food in. Convention ovens are perfect! I love my tumbler press though!
ghetoo????
Lots of r tape n time
I have changed up my tape a little since this video and do as much. Taping is totally personal preference though for sure. I’ve tried so many different ways to find what works best with my press
