    Thanks for sharing. I’m new to sublimation those glass cans. I keep seeing tape lines on my glasses, any suggestions why I’m getting them? I tried different types of heat tape, sub paper, pressure and heat temp. Thanks

      Are you getting them actually on the cup or just on the sublimation design?

    Could you use the Cricut mug press for this?

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone Рік тому

      I would not recommend it. These are too thin and many people have damaged their mug presses using clear and frosted glass

    • @catherineambriz7045
      @catherineambriz7045 Рік тому

      You have to have a wrap because the glass is too thin. There have been many people who got their mug press and use them and stopped because it didn’t have the wrap and Cricut won’t replace if you mention that….they will if you mention if you just got a code error and don’t mention the glass 🤷🏽‍♀️ just what I’ve heard lol

    I think they look beautiful. I wonder if a shrink wrap would help with more even heat? Great project and beautiful design. Glad I bought that bundle.
    Thank you for the great tutorial!

    Hi Corinne- I recently watched an Industrial Fringe video on sublimating on these glass cans. It was 3 months ago. Around the 26 minute mark he goes over all his trials and what time and temp worked best. He sublimated for a lot longer. Check it out, I think you’ll be surprised.
    Thanks for not being afraid to show your “not best” results. Let’s us know that we all have good ups from time to time.

      I’m getting them on the cup. It’s not tape residue either. I just currently bought a new heat press as well.

    Hi you can sublimate on any clear libbey glass?

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone Рік тому

      No. When sublimating the blanks must be made for sublimation.

    Hi, Can you help me? I tried frosted and clear glass. Sadly, only frosted glass works and the design did not even stick on the clear glass. Do you have any idea why? My supplier told me two types of glass cups can be sublimated. Thank you.

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone 8 місяців тому

      You have to make sure the cups are actually made for sublimation likely they were not which is why they did not work.

      @CorinneBlackstone thank you for your reply. My supplier told me I'm the first customer who shared the clear glass didn't work. I have 3 different suppliers and none of their glass works but assured me it does. So I don't know what to do already.

      @@kristeren6811 so my only other thought is could you not be heating it correctly? Or is your image not good for clear. Darker colors are better on clear.
