It is real close to where my grandmother used to live. My aunt still lives in the same house there. Tjong-A-Fie's grandson was my classmate in Medan. I saw him about 5 years ago in Jakarta, and he also told me that they donated half of their house to be a museum. I had never entered the mansion myself but had seen it from outside many times, of course. Thanks for the video. Even though I could not recognize the places, the video still brought up a lot of memories. PS: You look very good in that prince outfit.

Been watching your Indonesian videos. They remind me of my childhood. I was born in Medan and went to school there, but I spend my adult life here in Oz. Medan has changed a lot that I barely recognise it and there are too many new development.
I probably won't be able to visit Medan again anytime soon, thanks to Covid, but watching your videos of Medan, Lake Toba etc really brings back memories...
Really miss the Indonesian food as well. One thing that I don't miss is the scorching tropical heat lol
They dance well send them next round ..lol
The acting was good full of passion . wsh I could understand the language.. I enjoyed the video... Best wishes my friend. Spread the love. By the way tanks for the subtitle
I love the way you interact with locals. You are so extrovert and sooo attractive. Many vloggers are using a guide that can help them. But youu are soo different. You are my fav UA-camrs vloggers . even tho the video is about 50 minutes im not even bored to watch your video.
Yeah ikr, i think this is the way to describe vlog is. Real time experience even with no necessary cinematic or epic scene cut.
Wow. People are so friendly in a genuine way. The rewards of travelling to a non-touristy town as opposed to a tourist hotspot even in the same country. I highly doubt you'll have the same response in say Bali where you'll probably be either ignored or be seen as a walking $$ sign.
Yeah, no matter what country it is, Tourist traps are always the worst. It's either the worst kind of people or malicious scammers.
I just watched all your videos while visiting Indonesia, Dale. You're a very nice person and I really hope to meet you someday when you visit Indonesia again, especially Jakarta 😊
Loving all your videos, great attitude, and interaction with local people. Keep up the good work.
Cheers Richard mate!
I watch "Your Man's videos cause I love Your Man's scottish accent + smile + content" Keep vlogging fun videos, makes it easier to go through these tough and stressful Covid19 times.💕
Everybody loves Dale coz he is so friendly to everyone.
51:15 "oouhhh.. Handsome" oh my god, it made me laugh out loud😂😂😂
Being White is a privilege
@@awa80 they called handsome/beautiful if a guest or someone wear their traditional clothes. I also get the same praise when I wear the Javanese clothes.
@@awa80 what? No dude She say handsome cause there are tourists who wear traditional clothes in Indonesia not because of race🙄, i am chinese Heredity my skin so white from other Islander people but they r not care about that,in Indonesia the real handsome and beautiful people is not from skin but attitude And courtesy🙏.
Hi army :v
@@awa80 No its not... She said handsome because in here, Indonesia we rarely see tourist's everyday, barely someone who praises our culture, so thats why we praise, and greet these tourist's with a warm welcome.
my man having his pics taken with locals like a rockstar

I'm just informing that in 23:20 it's the original price if sold by street food seller.. it will always be more expensive when compared to minimarkets, that's normal.
What's this? One hour vlog? Nah. And then I finished it. It's like a minute! You're really cool mate. Nice video.
