This is my one year anniversary since launching channel, thanks to the dozens and dozens of subs and support, my goal is to make it to 1k by the end of the year and then beyond that.
I spent a lot of time making sure the notes in tab are correct, I'm about 96% there I feel. Bobby's solo was tough, thanks to Mattmatatt for helping me figure out the details. I am not satisfied with this take but it'll have to do for now. I will make a proper "how to play" video in the near future, I will also do every song in order from the Symbolic album, so, hang tight. The important thing was getting something done for today that has enough to teach regardless of the presentation. I'm getting better but I will still work harder. Until then, lets keep Death alive.

@@HellionSol i switched gears and started working on Scream Bloody Album. Ive got 4 songs down and working on the rest. The rhythm i can learn in a day ot two its just the solos that slowing me down. Also, practice been a bit slower lately since school is coming to the end soon 🙃 I should have more time during summer. My goal is to get the whole album done by the end of 2024.

Another fav! Kudos for using the pinky on the "34 23 1323" part. For some reason my brain won't let me do it so I just use middle-ring and switch position. Silly I know because I can play things like Silent Scream and Hallowed Point just fine but this trips me up.
Apologies for late response. Yeah, the pinky is trippy, still have a lot of work to do but it does feel silly at times how some come easier than other with similar sound/technique in the song.

Welcome !! Very cool, not familiar with the GT1 but try finding a high gain distortion (maybe something like a Marshall or 5150) and set the bass high, mids low, and treb around the middle. Then add an EQ block after it and increase the lows 80hz, decrease 200hz (slightly) decrease around 700hz (dramatically) decrease around 2k (barely) and increase around 6k until it has a bite. If it’s too muddy try adding an overdrive before the amp with the gain at 0 and tone and volume a little higher than 12 o’clock. Hope this helps !!

What's that strap on your wrist for dude? Tendonitis?I got it in my early 20's and have never had it addressed. Man I played through this album constantly, in my teens loved it. If I'm teaching metal. This is my go to for a student. Well done👍
I had a wrist injury from weight training. Yes, anything that involves tendon glitches are no joke.
Death is such a good introduction to the darker side of metal. I see them as a modest challenge for any new comers, very achievable. Thanks for reaching out !!
