As a Dota 2 player, I really wanted this video to give me a better insight into the game League of Legends, but it really didn't. It covered a few things like the controversy with the developer Pendragon and recent walkout which I already knew, but besides that the video was just about the esports scene and SKT1. I really wish you guys went more into the story of the development of the game, how it's changed over the years. There was very little talk about that. I just went back and watched the "Story of Dota 2" video and it gives such a good perspective to an outsider to what the game is. I really love your channel and have been a subscriber since the early days. Just wanna see you guys get better and better and wish you the best!
Welcome to the score "eSports" channel :) the story of dota I guess was a coincidence and they kinda just reflected on the developers in the early days. And I've played in those early days, they didn't really mention a lot. Fuck Eul, Guinsoo and all those devs who turned their back for money and glory. Dota has surpassed them, they can cry now to the biggest eSports in the world :) also, I loved league...hated Dota 2...now I can't let Dota 2 go, but didn't touch league in months. And a lot of players got more interested on switching, I got hit up by 7 players in the past one and a half months that they were told I'm so passionate about dota, maybe I can introduce them to the game. Might be harder to learn, but more vast, more beautifully composed if you manage to get the right set of players. But that's just all my opinion
i dont get why people dont give league the respect it deserves. i started 2010 and still love it. even if you dont play it you cant deny that it has a huge story behind its name.
riot did a really good job making league a competitive game, the problem is people take it really seriously even in normal games which eventually made the game more toxic, but that's just normal even in sports i dont get why people think everyone would be magically friendly for every game you play.

@@mmaforever594 better you stopped, toxic players are not welcome in that community :) best players persevere and find new strats. If you can't, do your job, quit, go somewhere you feel more comfortable, but stop calling anything about a game trash...you played it, so respect yourself by not calling dota a trash after you quit :D after all you did not play a trash. I can call league whatever after quitting it, not touching it for 3-4 months, moving to dota, but that game got me caught up for 4-5 years. :) It's different, these games evolve, you don't like it, bye.

I haven't even played League for four years but still watch the tournaments and know several friends the same. It really does mean a lot to people that play or have played it even when we quit or get annoyed with the changes it keeps a lot of loyal fans.
As a person who plays dota for almost 15+ years. I still respect LoL for their contribution to the esports and the genre itself.
The beginning of this video just gave me goosebumps! And it barely even started yet!
From Broken Mess to Global Phenomenon and Back to Broken Mess
forreal that epic movie at the first 2 minutes of the video is enough to make a grown man cry
Ryu: Here we go again.
"Its balance was a work in progress." 10 years down the line and it still is.
Why am I still addicted to this game...
Because it's more than just a game.
If you've been playing for a long time it's hard to stop playing. Been playing since season 3 and I don't think I will ever quit this game.
The thing about LoL is: youre friend gonna ask you if the game is good, you say no but still play it everyday
10 years ago before league.. I was playing Dota with the AI's and against with the AI..
Bruh you're not alone
Haha I was playing with insane Ais vs easy Ais
Been playing since 2013 and while I took a hiatus for schooling, I'm back and I still love the game.
I'm hoping that 2020 will be the year for the LMS/LST (now called PCS) to step up and be a contender at Worlds.
You know League of legends porn is something else.
League is the pionier of my life. It was where i shared great moments with friends, where i meet my girlfriend, now my wife. It is in my life for almost an everyday presence for 10 years and i even now that i am only a broken shell of myself and i dont perform as well as i used to it will always be a part of my life
Dota 2: NaVi (Dendi)
LoL: SKT (Faker)
Legends never die!
Its OG(ana) now sir. Or (topson) maybe
dendi was ONE of the greatest, but consistency comes also in place in a player's legacy, like faker, he won 8 domestic titles, 2 msi, 1 rift rivals, in a 6 year career
OG in dota have great players being able to b to b wins in TI is no easy feat, I'd say its ana, topson, or notail?
Faker 3 worlds Dendi 1 TI
@@user-yv7tz6sr8z thats why it should be ana i think. Or topson. But i think notail fits the most considering he won 4 valve majors and 2 ti
as a bit of a quote from T1 says "I cant quit watching these video I'm fucking addicted"... I dont even watch half of the games but still sit here for hours watching
Ayyy its scarra 8:44
Here's to recall all teams that won the world titles in their own respective year:
Season 1 (2009-2011)
-Fnatic (FNC) Europe
Season 2 (2012)
-Taipei Assassins (TPA) Taiwan
Season 3 (2013)
-SK Telecom T1 (SKT T1) Korea
Season 4 (2014)
-Samsung White (SSW) Korea
Season 5 (2015)
-SK Telecom T1 (SKT T1) Korea
Season 6 (2016)
-SK Telecom T1 (SKT T1) Korea
Season 7 (2017)
-Samsung Galaxy (SSG) Korea
Season 8 (2018)
-Invictus Gaming (IG) China
Season 9 (2019)
-FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) China
Side note: Samsung White(SSW) and Samsung Galaxy(SSG) are the same teams that just keeps on rebranding (SSB,SSW,SSG,KSV and now currently known as GEN G)
And no NA in sight.
That silver scrapes in the last few seconds just killed me
League is like that awkard snot nose kid from middle school who somehow became really popular in the highschool
I havent played the game seriously for years, havent played any ranks or normal games, just occasionally coming back for new gane modes like urf. However even tho i dont play the game that much anymore i still support everything that riot brings us, new games, now series and so much more. I thank league for letting me be a part of this growing community.

Pendragon trying to kill DotA WeirdChamp
up this
As a Dota 2 player, I really wanted this video to give me a better insight into the game League of Legends, but it really didn't.
@@xzxmemoxzx Yea but i dont see a Problem in that. Theres always someone to start a Genre aswell There are more Games in One genre
