As a teacher, I spent so much time on my feet every day and experience a lot of foot pain. I’m trying more expensive shoes than I usually go for to try and alleviate this and I think I’m sold on getting a pair of Birkenstock’s!
With care they will last a really long time. The black leather takes polish well. And they can be resoled. I had my first pair of Boston black leather for at least 25 years, and that was either lots of 3 Season wear. With care they just get better with age.
You can also get new cork beds and keep your tops. It is not as inexpensive as it used to be, but it can kept a favorite on your feet and out of a landfill. Also important if a style you like has been retired. And if like me you have an uncommon size .
Thankyou..I think birkenstock products are awesome because its the health reason too.. many sandals "with bounces" etc but they not really good for overall health for feet ? The one I used was the eva ones and yes in the beginning its hurt a bit but is it only hurts your feet not not up to the heel of the foot or calf which more important for overall health.. If Iam not mistaken it even bring a good posture? Just bought the softbed arizona.. hope will last
i bought one just yesterday, but im not sure with my size, i know thats weird but my question is should it be so fit in your foot or its ok to have just an allowance. may size were between 36 and 37… i’m so torn. i bought 37 but i think not that so fit at me. i tried 36 but its kinda a little bit not so comfy or maybe because its new.hays sorry about this, but im hoping someone can help since i still have days to refund or exchange it. 😊
Hey there! So I'm between sizes too and I went down to 37. For me the bigger size was just too big and it kept moving on my feet as I walked so I stuck with the smaller size. Hope that helps 😊
These are the worst shoe on the planet; the leather is so hard, i went out shopping and could not even finish half the way! My foot was aching like crazy! And to pay so much to hurt your feet! Save your money!
I'm so sorry for your experience with them! Mine feel very comfortable although I wouldn't recommend wearing these if you're traveling or walking 8+ hours a day
I have the same issue and did some research and it’s different for everyone, some people have to break them in and they start molding to your foot with them, 2 weeks to a month if you wear them everyday for a couple of hours, I can feel mine molding to my foot already
