Be careful. I have found 4 inside my HOME in the last week. They were very loudly eating cat food, they just walked in the back door that my cat leaves open. I sat up all night waiting with a trail of grapes leading them out the door. I hope that is the end. We've closed the back door and boy is my cat mad. It's a new life of not going out in the yard at night. I'm gonna try ammonia in the yard. Good luck

i like prairie or woodland yards - i love all my wildlife. it’s an ecosystem in my sand dune woodland yard and community so I would never rush off any animal. they come and go as they please, wintering in old logs or woodland habitat that is my area.
it’s ground hogs and moles that do most damage in my opinion but I likely have more trees that other suburban living.

What to do of you live with someone who feeds them? I've tried to tell them not to but still does.
Plus, i do the work on the front and the possums dig holes on the grass and leave their 💩

I have just added a mixture of:
Vinegar , garlic, peppermint oil, cayanne pepper, black pepper, dish soap, water, lemon juice and mixed it up. Just put it on the grass. I'll update on how this goes.

I do not like them! They eat all my outside cats food! I have "gotten rid" of about 7 in the past few months and will be trying the mothball method because I'm building tote houses for my cats and i would lose my mind if one got into one with my cats!!!
