I searched for what people thought the best Scooby game was and this was recommended. I was going to play it myself, buuut I may as well see the entire game in an hour and a half--Haha! Thanks for this and good job. I love TASs.
Any% soooooooon. haha thanks, it's been a lot of work, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Already, a few new tricks have been found since releasing this TAS. Just goes to show this game has plenty of surprises still remaining.
Fairly new to speed running and what not- from my understanding TAS is tool assisted speed run, so does that mean you basically code the entire thing before hand so it is input perfectly when doing the actual play through? If you want to go into more detail if you respond I definitely wouldn't mind, just super curious! Thanks and good vid :)
Heya. Tool Assisted Speedrun in lamens terms is if a robot were playing the game perfectly, where everything goes right. Essentially it boils down to I save state each level over and over until I get the perfect result. I play the game at 50% speed to ensure perfect movement while recording. There are some scripts I wrote to double my inputs such as with menuing. You’ll notice I have practically inhuman viable menuing when I do that warping glitch for example.
Mayhem on Dolphin is prone to crashes and major desync issues. Also the Xbox version of that game has the fastest loads, and Xbox TASing doesn’t exist and emulation is poor. Unmasked is a bit of an interesting case. That game gets a lot of the major timesave from a glitch you can only perform by having a previous save file. As a result, it wouldn’t be a valid TAS in the sense of starting from a clean state.

Thank you for making this TAS, I have never seen one done for this game before and I appreciate all of the hard work put in!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Certainly took quite a lot of planning.

Glad you enjoyed! This game was my childhood, could not recommend it more, especially if you love 3D platformers.
This game scared me as a kid. Especially going into the manor for the first time, the creepy music with the moving pictures. Shit was scary as a kid 😅
Finally an uncommented run of this game. Even if it's a TAS I couldn't stand most of the other runs that were coming up when I searched it
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Very Good, well done!
Watch Mortal beat the time in next 2 days.. xD
Glad to hear you enjoy TAS'ing and good job on completing the Hundo!

@@HarshESC True True, This game never fails to amaze me.
The sound effects would drive me crazy fast. I'd turn that volume to 0.
Sorry to hear :( but that’s just part of the game. You get used to it the more you play this game.
Good job! on this TAS!! Games sound effects are very annoying after some time, not your fault tho!
Thank you :)

21:50 The warp gate was right there, what was the point of using the warp anywhere glitch 😑
Saves a few frames of movement and allows me to collect the snack while in the menu.

I wonder why no one has made a scooby doo mystery mayhem or unmasked tas

At 30:48, does Scooby get invincibility frames after the power up?
Yup, Scooby games temporary invincibility frames everytime a powerup is collected or he is hit by an enemy/obstacle. Hence why I could run on water.
Do you think if Warner Bros got into the legal weed business, would they name one of their products "Scooby dooby"? I swear I'm not high typing this.
