Old needles make good picture hangers.

Very helpful. Just cleaned my Janome today. Did not know I have to oil bobbin.

This is the best video I have seen on cleaning your machine. I also have a juki so this is real helpful. My only problem is that one of the screws on my plate is so tight that i cant loosen it and have to take it to a shop to loosen it.

Interesting. Do you have to take it to the shop every time you need to take the plate off? ~Deborah

I am sure will only have to take it in once to get the screw loosened. My 16 year old grandsons were not able to loosen 1 screw. Have cleaned the machine best I could without the plate being removed.

@@debbiewood2675 Goodness, that thing must be really stuck. Well, any cleaning is way better than not. Happy sewing for many years to come. ~Deborah

I too have a Janome. Do I need to oil anything in the upper portion? And if so where? I don’t see any place to open the head.

Hi there. Every machine has different oiling points. If you can, look in the manual for the ones for your machine. If you don't have a manual, you can try searching for the manual online. Thanks for watching! ~Deborah
