Not only is she dressing and posing like a 90s dad at the zoo but also giving solid budget advice at the same time. The LeanBeefDaddy we all wish we had. (not in a weird way but daddy rhymed too good with patty, i had to) Bless you Father Beef.
That or a Pokémon trainer.
my brain read "soldier budget" and as an air force brat, it still made a lot of sense.
LBD might be a bit much because of current pop culture but I am fully in support of Father Beef. There's a reverence I think rightfully deserved in that title.
Starting to remind me of the Buges
Father Beef. 😂 I cannot do this. 💀

Oh yeah wow I just realized it’s really divorced 😢👴
Fun things about aldi: they've been non-bagged for as long as I've been going there. Also, the quarter for the cart is so the store saves money by not having someone spend time outside gathering the carts. People tend to bring it back so they can get their money back.
Doesn't work in Miami tho, carts all over the parking lot and/or people will try to free the cart without "paying"
@@Takador ccording to the shopping cart theory, Miami is full of shitty people.
its a german brand, and its common sense in Germany that you "rent" the carts, usually 50€C ,1€ or 2€ coin , heard theres a problem with lazy fat ignorant assholes in the US and A that drive 500 meters to consumertemples with the car and leave the shopping cart at the parking lot for maximum non walking ^^
Been shopping at Aldi since the 90s. They have always been bagless. You'd bag your own stuff, and the groceries were typically CHEAP.
I remember paying $0.25 for canned food back in the day. Saved a ton of money buying food there. Would recommend it if you're on a tight budget.
Aldi got me hooked on these chicken & veggie pasta for $2 a bag 😅
This year I started cooking dry beans instead of buying canned (because of the cost) and I will never go back. I also started making broth from veggie scraps (free) to cook the beans with and it’s so delicious and economical. Making broth from scratch makes me feel like a witch, it’s amazing. They’re both really easy, beginner friendly recipes. Do it.
Patty not only teaching us how to get buffed but also do budgeting 🙏💅

I was impressed with your self-discipline in passing up the brownies and cheesecake. Now I want to see how creative a cook you are in making the meals from your trip.
I don't know I thought the whole point of working out was so that you could eat junk food.
@@kejadventures241 Well, no, that is not the whole point of working out dude🤣 I get what you mean but considering the hard work you are putting in getting into shape eating junk food is almost as auto-sabotage
If you can't pass up brownies and cheesecake with only $10, the only thing you're bringing back is probably brownies and cheesecake and based on that behavior most likely there will be no brownies and cheesecake to eat tomorrow.
@@shadowbatjack if you can't type a paragraph without using more than one sentence, then you shouldn't be typing them.
@regulator18E Most paragraphs are just a sentence with a bunch of periods inside it.
Fun fact, up until the egg price disaster earlier this year, aldi sold those eggs you got for $0.56 a carton. Crazy deal
Love the edition and the sense of humor, just a great video patty ❤
In case no one talked about this yet, milk that's sold in room temperature is called UHT milk, UHT stands for ultra-high-temperature processing. Basically the milk is sterilized and packed in an airtight container so that there is no bacteria to spoil. That's why it also lasts a really long time unopened, but at the end of the day it *is* milk so you have to put it in the fridge once it's opened.
That sounds like a better option for production....i think? Less waste haha
@@DesertNebula More production involved so think transportation. UHT also takes some of the health benefits out if I remember correctly due to the massive heat involved.
@@DesertNebula It doesn't really taste that good to me, i find it has a weird sweetness that fresh milk doesn't have
The more you know...
It's about the only thing they sell in Europe

These videos are great. Sometimes I think we focus too much on what we want and not what we need. This video grouds things. Thank you @leanbeefpatty
I used to shop at Walmart, then switched to Aldi's a year ago. My grocery cost went from $55 down to $27 for the same items. Aldi's is the best !!!
If only I had one near me. I have to deal with an overpriced grocery store that’s more expensive than Walmart.
i'm about to try that. plus, i hate walmart. :/ realized i have an aldi's nearby, so imma check it out.
HEB is just as great if u live in Texas
"If you don't know how to cook, now is the time to figure it out."
The bell toll and laugh after had me dying. Lol
New subscriber: love your vlogs and shorts! Ideas for videos: more unique collabs, best gyms in whichever city to grind at and why, hobbies outside of working out, etc
For my ppl shopping for the first time FROM SCRATCH (like not even seasoning) this is my advice for a $10/week budget:
-Prioritize one food group at a time so that you can get the better quality and most economical option. Your first trip should ALWAYS start with a bulk bag of potatoes imo. The next week get bulk protein like a tray of chicken thighs etc.
- Always have a source of fat and a source of salt. This will make your food taste better. That first week when you got potatoes get a can of spam or get those canned adobo peppers etc with a dried soup packet if your don't eat meat, these are cheap items that you only need a small amount to impart flavor.
- If you can get an onion or a sleeve of garlic get it. Aromatics make a difference.
- Don't feel bad about canned veg. It still has nutrients and it's better than no veg at all. We're all doing our best and if that's all you can afford that's good enough.
Funny thing, I actually _did_ survive off of just a bag of potatoes like that for an entire Fall break (10 days, I think?) once in college. Not my greatest moment, but I made a LOOOOT of different potato dishes and I now consider an expert tater chef.
Also, excellent Nacho reference, 100/10 (tater) chef's kiss.
Nice!!! tater chef sounds legit!!!
My dad was once stuck in Paris for a week, and he had about $1-2 to spend every day so he'd buy a baguette and some honey and ate it for lunch and dinner 😂 the things you do when you're low on money...
did you just do different ways to cook potatoes and seasoning each meal?
@@cassieguedea8880 Yep! I basically just had seasoning, butter, and olive oil... I think I had a half gallon of milk, too. I did mashed potatoes, and then those became potato pancakes the next day. You can also slice the taters suuuuper thin and like layer them and make a pretty lil flower with spices and bake it, you can make hashbrowns, pretty much anything you can think of lol
Fall break fell on Thanksgiving, so that night I "splurged" and bought like a little wedge of some good cheese and used the last of the milk to make a sort of au gratiny dish. It slapped :)
You should totally posted a video with everything you made for that 10 days! I’m intrigued 😍😋😋😋
Fun Fact: Apparently Aldi does not use ANY artificial coloring in their branded products. Very good 👍👍
This is extremely important (if it’s for real)😮
@LeanBeefPatty Yep its confirmed. Also they banned MSG, and partially hydrogenated oils.
Yep! They've cut out a ton of additives to all products! They're also ranked as one of the greenest grocery chains, moving towards no packaging or fully recyclable packaging within five years and a ton of renewable energy.
Aldi is the GOAT ngl. $4# bacon, $2# pork loin $2.19# chicken breast. Eggs $1.35/dz, flour is $2.19/5#. Absolutely incredible. Plus not having bags feels great leaving with it all packed tight in cardboard or carrying it in your arms. Aldi for life. They got all you need. As long as they have sardines im happy.
I hope GMO as well
This is the video i needed to see today. Thank you!
5:05 had me dying with the back libre stance and your whole outfit is just amazing

I love your long form content patty!! Found you out from tik tok and now I love your UA-cam!!
Finally a video with reasonable food prices in America. Thanks Aldi, for bringing German efficiency to the Americans! :D
It seems Aldi has another convert! I hope Aldi comes through with the Patty sponsorship! p.s. those shorts look so comfortable
Aldi is the GOAT of grocery stores and funnily is related to Trader Joe's, another popular grocery store. The German Albrecht brothers split the Aldi business into to two, North and South in the 1960s over a dispute on whether to sell smokes 🚬in their stores. As a result Aldi North operates in America as Trader Joe's and Aldi South is just Aldi.
ALDI has been a lifesaver for us. We get about 15 more items per grocery bill as we did when we had our regular budget with Target and Kroger. I was initially skeptical because of the prices, but the food is high quality. Love their steaks.
Aldi is awesome. One thing I love about them is that they actually provide their cashiers with chairs
Not sure how ive never seen your channel. Its not been recommended to me ever and i watch several fitness, strongman and bodybuilder channels. Thats crazy. Well, im binge watching now. Lol. And you have a new sub. Thank you.
i just love the editing so much
I can't thank you enough, Patty. I was thinking about of budget cuts on groceries shopping and here you are making this video. The divine time is perfect. I truly appreciate you alot, Patty!
Wait! Can we get a video on a day of meals out of each haul? This was awesome to watch!
yup
the way you said PEANUT BUTTER at 9:51 enriches my soul
I'm older than primordial ooze and I know a lot. I paid off 2 houses really early and retired at 53. That's shelf stable milk they preserve it somehow. Yeah the frozen stuff got all tricky with more than $1.25 items. I pulled my hand back too. Here's some of my tricks. We've mostly only gotten Asian food at restaurants. Everything else I can make cheaper at home pretty much. I get one large entree and it comes with a big thing of white rice. I put 3-4 cans of drained beans and I have beans and rice all week to add to meals like cheap as heck little burritos and quesadillas'. I then take the hot entree and pour it over 3 bags of DT veggie blends ( pepper stir fry ) and that turns a tasty entree into all week long ( for me and my even older husband ). That way we can eat out sometimes but I bring it home and we stretch it. I ate enough pasta and macaroni and cheese growing up I can barely look at it now. My sister in law recently took me to Red lobster. I'd filled up on the cheesy biscuits and my salad and took all the rest of it home and I added broccoli and carrots ( frozen of course ) to all that linguini and made 5 count em! 5 freezer plates. I know not everyone's as old and cant hold as much as they used to like us but a little veggie adding works for a lot of things. I took stroghanoff hamburger helper, used half the meat I had then set one of the packets aside, there's too much salt in it anyway. Later, with the other half of the meat, I put a whole bag of egg noodles and that sauce packet beefed up with canned mushrooms. A can of little green peas in there extends it too and then vegetables is fun. I did that as a poor as heck kid and all my married life too. YOU HAVE THE CUTEST PERSONALITY! Enjoyed ur vid very much. Save on girrrrrrl!!
Patty has her platform, and people still love her, no haters, she has a beautiful life, got her money up and probably like a millionare, but she still teach you how to survive 😭❤
Facts.
I like her cheap pad.
this takes me back to when I'd live off $20 a week -- when you don't have money you learn this stuff real quick!
I'm not even broke anymore but learned I can easily live each day spending 20 bucks or less (aside gas and bills ofc) for necessities. Once you stop impulse shopping adulting becomes pretty easy lol
@@kibblesnbits3174 a day is easy a week would be when it would get hard
@@kibblesnbits3174 I dont think it is still possible to live on as little as before as long as prices go up..... Like what I can't make $12 an hour like before and still have a place to live!!!! Now I make $21 an hour and still only have about $300 a month left over which is almost the same as before about $400 but often closer to $300!!!
Great to see you as always in a new video.
“Now is time to figure it”, out had my cracking up.
4:11 5 stages of grief over potatoes is a beautiful sight to behold
Can you do a regular haul at Aldi? Your videos are awesome btw
Patty in the gym: Shorts so tight and short you don't even need to wonder.
Patty in a grocery store video: Jean pant things that are massive as fuck.
It's so damn funny, man. The contrast.
German here. Yes, Aldi is a German brand grocery store. Paying extra for bags and bagging yourself, as well as renting the carts with a coin is standard practice here.
Honestly, the quality of this video was 10/10 definitely do more grocery shopping videos in the future. Lol my favorite part had to be the close-up shot you had while promoting Gorilla mind. Had me hysterical.
It is very interesting to see that US Aldi's have similar prices than in Spain (also, fun fact, those "Goya" beans are a Spanish brand).
Well, except the potatos, those were frigging expensive. You can get 5kg (~11 pounds) for 2 or 3 dollars around here.
Loved the video Patty!! Thanks :D
As an aldi lover I’m glad to see you fall in love with it as well
I love who you are
In these trying times this is exactly what we need! 🙏
I just love how consistent all these videos are. You could have just recorded a vlog of the shopping but the usual editing is just *french kiss*
Aweeee man I wanted the see her survive on these hauls for a week per store 😩 that would be so good
I will never stop loving this chick.. and this is the first video I have watched of hers.
You know Patty is gorgeous when she even looks good in dad clothes
Lmao thanks 👨
5:50 They use nitrogen to purge the oxygen out of packaging so bloated packaging like this is usually safe. It can also happen if you live at a higher altitude than where the meat is packaged.
Your chaotic energy in this video made me really happy 🤣
Aldi hack-I grab a box that is laying empty (you can normally find at the very least 2) and use the box instead of buying a bag, or just something to carry the groceries in.
These grocery haul videos are great, I love them. Great video, it's like going on a little adventure.
love this type of chill fun content!!! we love u patty!
I love your personality 😄and this is very educational. I wonder if there are any Aldis in my state lol
“If you don’t know how to cook, now’s the time to figure it out” got me chuckling!
You see these are the relatable, practical, budget friendly options I needed “get a free chicken and you got eggs until it dies” 😂
Aldi is amazing! That's where i shop mostly cuz of how cheap everything is. It is pretty hit or miss tho, certain things I just will not get there. The produce usually does not last long for me, but idk if that's a skill issue on my part, or the produce's part.
Also did you do any calculatin' on the price per oz/etc?
Edits are too funny 😂 you’re so funny and absolutely gorgeous, defly a 1/100000000 girl
Love ur grocery vids patty!❤
This video screams "i dont really know what to do as a fitness content creator for long form videos" and i absolutely love it. its refreshing.
@5:52 In Europe we dont just vacuum pack our meats/vegatables but instead the packaging is filled with a mixture of gasses to replace the air and slow down the growth of microbes.
A lot of the time the packaging looks slightly bulged as you point out, I generally look to see if the chicken looks "slimey" instead of juices running freely as a indicator of how fresh the chicken in the packaging is.
Patty's editing gotta be in the top 5 on youtube.
Yo I thought that was John Cena in the beginning when Patty was running with those baby blue jorts on 🤣😂
Thanks Patty, for this new video it's great, I love all your content 💪🏽
You made shopping fun again. I have shopped Aldi for 30 years. Well Dollar Tree too. Dollar Tree has a few items that are cheaper than anywhere else I go, but if I could only shop one store, it would be Aldi. All one needs to do is watch adds/coupons and stock up whenever possible on your best items. For example, Kroger this coming week will have a 5lb bag of long grain white rice for $2.99. Meijer last week had 5oz bacon wrapped pork filets for $1. Of course it is helpful to have all 4 of the stores I mentioned within about a mile from my residence and I literally drive by all of them when I am out.
Freaking LOVE ALDI! Finna go there tomorrow 😎 also Patty!! I love you keep up with the vids!
we need more shopping videos, your reactions are always funny 😄😄
ALDI kicks ass! So glad you finally went there. It was a game changer for our family when we started going there. Lovin' the content!
the fit brings me to tears, it will one day be recognized as vogues 2023 collection i guarantee. a truly beautiful ensemble😌
I seriously love you lean beef patty ❤️

Lean Beef’s content is 💯! Hard work pays off! Grocery shopping day with Patty!
Thank you so much for your videos. I'm honestly very pleased to watch them, even though I live in another country and speak a different language, I still really like your content. keep up the good work 💗

The pose looking at the Aldi fridge was very Dad like. Great haul too. Definitely gotta check out Aldi again.
the shoes really fit the "i have to survive off $10 a week" part of this video, great work immersing yourself into the experience patty!
I have never seen someone hug something with as much love as Patty to that bag of potatoes.
The nacho libre reference got me good, love you editor
THE CONTACT SOUND EFFECT! Thank you lol
Very excited for this!
You deffo should have kept the bread but picked up something else to replace the saltines tho!
New content each week, I love it
My go to 'cheap' meals or meals that I can get multiple servings from; 1)Ramen of course 2)Chili 3)Spaghetti 4)Soups, especially Cabbage soup (you can get a head of cabbage for about 3 dollars and a pack of onion soup for about a dollar and have a pot full of tasty soup, which lends itself well to adding almost anything you want into the soup like onions, garlic, tomatoes, broccoli)
My mom used to take me to aldis when I was a kid... I'm 38. It's funny to see people just now discover it. Now they have organic and gluten free options... that was not the case when I was a kid... it was always the cheap ingredients, full of sugar stuff.
your videos make me laugh uncontrollably at the smallest little edits/farts/songs. idk how you do it but keep doing it.
I known you are a millionaire and you live in Emma Chamberlain's' old house in Beverly Hills, but nevertheless you are the only UA-camr that could come across as honestly attempting to eat for a week on $10.00 You actually know what those items are and have eaten them! Great video Patty!
I actually live in Emma’s closet ☝️ haha Thankyou dieter!
This was so fun I loved this video :)
1. I loved how the camera man made sure to get the SHORTS into the shot LOL!!!
2. ABSOLUTELY great Aldi haul. That was IMPRESSIVE especially with meat being on the list.
Aldi rocks. When I first moved out on my own I used to manage to feed myself entirely on things that required little to no cooking for like $30/week (though this was over a decade ago) so I could spend all my free time and money on more important things like partying lol.
If you're trying to eat a high protein diet and are struggling to afford whole foods from regular grocery stores it's amazing. Only thing is you can't really buy produce in small amounts it's all bags like those potatoes, which is usually overkill for stuff like onions.
I gotta give huge props to whoever’s behind the camera. I know I’d be laughing like crazy whenever Patty spoke
Dollar store grocery shopping is wild
Yo! I do pricing for the Aldi stores across the US, good to see some of my work approved by Patty herself! Keep killin it dude!
(Ill see what I can do about the sponsorship! (Probably not much since im just a spreadsheet jockey))
When I lived in California with my toddlers, on a limited budget, Aldi was a lifesaver!! I loved being able to get them a bunch of nutritious foods and fun snacks for really cheap.
Dunno why but I got the feeling that am purchasing my groceries with you and to be honest I totally love it 💕
you run like a final fantasy character and i love it
Tip for Aldi, you can ask for boxes. Then proceed to store you items in the boxes and bring them to your car, that’s what I do when I usually shop there.
I'm dying over these close ups 😂
We need the cooking followup though
Y'all know it's a fantastic day when Patty drops a video 🔥, love u Patty!!❤️
Here in the UK we like to refer to the middle of Lidl, which also applies to Aldi. Both stores are German in nature and while the groceries are massively cheaper than elsewehre, the deals you get on the centre aisle are madness. You need a gas fire barbeque, how about a chainsaw, flippers and a snorkelling mask, what about a counter top grill, blenders and a motorcycle battery for like 50 each, check the middle of Lidl/Aldi.
there’s so much dad energy in this video
Cool thing about Aldi is if you buy their store brands they don't use any msg or artificial colors.
The thing I wait all week for, a Patty UA-cam video
