the absolute JUMPSCARE of seeing a colleen hoover book on this list. i did not even consider you and verity existing in the same world fjdhgdfjkhhfdj saving this vid for later for recs, i had an amazing time as always
Oh my gosh!! I rarely hear the night circus recommended! I STILL (10+ years later) think about the imagery of that book. Loved the story, but that IMAGERY.
You’re the first booktuber who I’ve felt like I could genuinely get good recommendations that I’d like. Not that others have bad recs but you consistently talk about books so well without spoiling that I can actually gauge if it’s worth my time.
This is the first video of yours I've ever watched and we have, like, 85% overlap in our reading and it's so exciting to find someone who reads a lot of the same things. I even added a few books to my TBR based on how much we have in common and your recommendations (including The Office of Historical Corrections). But then... at 34 minutes in... I could see Verity in your list of books waiting to be ranked... but you came through. Hahaha. I'm a new subscriber!
You’re soooo right about Malibu Rising!!! I enjoyed it at the time and rated it highly (4 stars), but I couldn’t for the life of me tell you what happened in that book 😭
After having watched basically all the videos on your youtube after finding your tiktok, you convinced me to start reading again and I read 400 pages in 5 hours. Really hopeful that this gets me back into reading consistently!
@@newlynova It's really good to know that that works too. With college classes and grad applications and friends etc, everything can just be so much that I feel like I don't have time to read, which is a lie bc if I can watch youtube I can read lol. I definitely will try the "a few pages a day" thing tho, hopefully I can keep it up for longer
When I read short story collections I rate each story separately and then take the average for the whole thing. Unless the vibes are immaculate and I'll just instinctively give it 5 stars like any short stories Karen Russell or Zadie Smith writes lol
Never added so many books to the top of my tbr so fast. 100% agree with all these comments I love the vibes and how quick and precise your synopsis are that makes me want to read!!!!
This randomly ended up in my reccomended but I've now thoroughly padded put my memoir to read section thanks to this video! Absolutely subscribed Ur energy is impeccable
I watched this video at the beginning of the year when I was just getting back into reading after YEARS of never reading for fun, and I've read 8 of the books in this video and added half the rest to my TBR. Saying all that to say your taste in books is elite and I always come to your page if I can't figure out what to read.

So glad I found you! Your reading tasted are the closest to mine that I’ve found! All of these books are either ones that I’ve read, want to read, or weren’t on my radar yet (and now are, thank you very much).
Thank you! I just got back into reading after 10years of not and I’m aggressively reading so much that I feel like I ran out of “good book” to read because the last few I’ve read have been trash but now I have sooooo many books to add to my Want To Read. Love your vibes 🎉
In relation to your Legendborn explanation: Once upon a broken heart made me realize that I shouldn't discount YA romantasy anymore. They focus more on the romance, instead of relying on the smutt to sell it. Its always more emotionally romantic instead of sexually romantic. I think NA authors need to focus more on the romance to push their couple FIRST... and add the smutt for fun.
did you also read caraval? i've heard so many good things about that series but i didn't like her original trilogy very much (though i did like jacks, who i know is the lead in OUABH)
@@newlynova nope i havent. I will read it next. Though... Im actually glad I didnt read it first, because I know as much about Jacks as Evengeline the main character... and thats what makes OUABH so interesting....

I'm here, at an small town in Honduras, listening to your comments about every book, trying to decide which book would be the best for me and figuring out if I can afford it (from Amazon). The book isn't expensive but the delivery fee to my town is.
I LOVE your “categorizing” videos! I ranked my books read this year by your mid-year update guidelines for fun and I’ll probably do the same now for my five star reads😂
I have never felt more seen after your rating of the hating game bc that's what got me into romance as well and now it's basically all I read and damn, that book doesn't hold up like I thought it would

Unless the vibes are immaculate and I'll just instinctively give it 5 stars like any short stories Karen Russell or Zadie Smith writes lol
omg this is such a good idea 😭 using this
@lilacfields aw thank you! Glad you're using it! 😊❤️
Never added so many books to the top of my tbr so fast. 100% agree with all these comments I love the vibes and how quick and precise your synopsis are that makes me want to read!!!!
I NEED to see your notes about books on notion they seem so pretty and organized
just added so many of these to my want to read list like ohhhh my god i'm so excited to read these now, thank you

I've started reading tomorrow x3 on your rec, thank you! This was a great video
i hope you love it!!!! what i would GIVE to read that book for the first time again
Saying all that to say your taste in books is elite and I always come to your page if I can't figure out what to read.
this is exactly what I needed today
i’m so happy that this video randomly showed up on my recos!! NOW I CANT STOP BINGING YOUR VIDEOS

this vid randomly popped up in my recommendations and i’m like already obsessed with your channel !!🫶🏾
here to request that you do a tier list of your LEAST favorite books!!
So glad I found you! Your reading tasted are the closest to mine that I’ve found! All of these books are either ones that I’ve read, want to read, or weren’t on my radar yet (and now are, thank you very much).
anything you ever talk about goes straight onto my tbr and I will never stop telling everyone about u ur my fav 😌
Your description of Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow is exactly how I feel about it 😫
OMG my day gets better when u posttt
you summed up my feelings on jude duarte perfectly lmaoo. her relationship with cardan too. they deserve each other (complimentary AND derogatory)
This video inspired me to finally start my own booktube. Thank you so much for being who you are and for being a shining light across my UA-cam recommended page!!
first video of yours ive seen and somehow all of your opinions are like . my exact opinions said in much better ways . scream. i love u
I'm here, at an small town in Honduras, listening to your comments about every book, trying to decide which book would be the best for me and figuring out if I can afford it (from Amazon). The book isn't expensive but the delivery fee to my town is.
Same here! I am from Argentina 🇦🇷, and books in English are very expensive. Wish I could buy them allá.
me pausing a college essay to watch this because i need more books for my too long TBR list
I LOVE your “categorizing” videos! I ranked my books read this year by your mid-year update guidelines for fun and I’ll probably do the same now for my five star reads😂
You are probably my favourite youtuber and book tuber who is at the same age as me. This somehow makes many things so much relatable
I was like “this is so good why have i never seen this booktuber” and i just found out you started 4 months ago!! congratulations!
Red Rising series mentioned let’s go!!!!! Easily my favorite series of all time, so good, its inspired my own series, god I love it so much
ive randomly become obsessed with reading again in my early 20s so thanks for the reading list girly
I have never felt more seen after your rating of the hating game bc that's what got me into romance as well and now it's basically all I read and damn, that book doesn't hold up like I thought it would
You and mike’s mic are my two favorite UA-camrs rn
Obsessively adding many of these to my to reads. Also, you pull of bangs so well and I hope you’re told that every day.
Absolutely obsessed with your content
i looove that you put jeannette mccurdys memoir in this list!! when i saw the tier i instantly thought about that book because its one of my "i will never shut up about this"
This was such a helpful list I just added so many books to my tbr- also I love your succinct and funny review style!
The eyeliner, the Micarah Tewers vibes, everything, new sub, no notes
Just finished office of historical corrections and every single story ate! Thank you so much for the rec!
I just ordered 5 of your top-tier books -- thanks a lot for the good, fun video and your rec's!!
