I absolutely adore your vlogs for so many reasons, but one of the main ones is the inspiration you give me to do basic everyday things like get out of bed and get dressed or go on a little walk. Just this week I read ‘I who have never known men’ as per your recommendation and could not be happier with the way it read and how daily it has been brought to mind. Thank you for sharing
Me too! Watching this I’m 1) missing living in a city where you have more incentive to go outside 2) still inspired to go for a walk after work, even though there is no destination
These videos have given me the confidence to finally travel alone after nearly a decade of wanting too. It would be nice when you return to do a video's with the pro's and con's of travelling alone, as well as any tips
I’m from Toronto and living in Ireland and this has made me sooo homesick and teary eyed. I’ve been all over the world but Toronto is my favourite city. The people are so special. The vibe is so special. There’s no other way to describe it. I hope you loved Toronto as much as I do. Xx
@@ThePrivet18 my husband is from Ireland. He missed home. I wanted to see where he was from. We felt it was only fair that we both experienced each other’s homes and decided where to stay from there. Xx
I have been living in Toronto for 5 years now and it’s a beautiful city to live in! It’s both modern and old-school, has so many neighbourhoods! Glad you liked staying in here!
It's so Amazing to see the city you live in through someone else eyes. There are so many unique pockets of the city, it's such a melting pot of all the best people and cultures. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
I left Toronto two years ago for eastern Ontario because of the cost of living and to get closer to family but this video made me miss my old hood so much. You walked in front of my two former offices and I got the feels!! Can’t wait to go back for a visit soon. So glad you enjoyed beautiful Toronto 💜
When Lizzie said she was going to enjoy walking I was like oh no 🤦♀️🌸 You can definitely jaywalk, but depending on where you live (I lived in Toronto for 9 years) it's really not a walking city! Thank you for this video, it was so nostalgic ❤️❤️❤️ come visit again!
Its so lovely to see my city through your eyes/vlog. I was in New York, when you were in Toronto and I am always in these neighbourhoods you were exploring.
You went to a bunch of my fave spots! Badiali’s pizza (relatively new but sooo good), Bar Isabel… good on ya for finding the gems! Glad you loved Toronto! I’ve watched your channel for ages and it was so surprising to see you right in my neighbourhood!
Going for a drink with one of your followers is amazing, if you ever fancy a trip to New Zealand I will take you to our coolest wine bars and vintage stores! Haha! Enjoy the rest of your trip lovely xx
I am so glad you loved Toronto!! When I saw where you were staying I was crushed. There r so many other beautiful hotels. But never mind. I am so glad you liked it!!
@@shesslucky in the west end, I would recommend Annex Hotel. it's close to the subway line, so very convenient. Gladstone Hotel and Drake Hotel are in a great neighbourhood and (closer) walking distance to the Ossington Strip that Lizzy featured a lot. these hotels are also in/next to Parkdale, which is a great neighbourhood for cheap and fancy eats and bars. in the east end, there is the Broadview Hotel.
Please could you talk more about Vancouver and Toronto as places to visit? I've wanted to go for years but would love to hear your take on the differences and what they're like 👍
ughhh you were on king and spadina, soooo close to the best coffee place in the whole city!! the next time you're down you absolutely need to go to Strange Love on spadina and get a lovers latte. trust me
I live near the park in the video where the you filmed the river and swans.... and I was saying..... wow... you got your steps in! Osslington is my favorite street... and VSP consignment is very highly recommended by me too......... if you go back there are amazing restaurants called Salt and Cote de beouf on osslington but ifyou go between queen and dundas on there you will be spoilt for choice.
Canada border crossings can be really slow. We waited at a small road crossing for an hour and a half once before the guard came out. Eventually he came out and searched the car for tobacco and alcohol (there are apparently limits on quantity you can take in because of duties), but we only had a six-pack of beer in the cooler, checked our passports, license plates, etc. That was when US citizens could cross for a day trip without passports.
If you're near the financial district, many of the coffee shops and amenities are supposed to be supplemented by the underground PATH, but due to Covid many office workers haven't come back, so the PATH is much more dead than it was in 2019, where it was impressive enough, I'd bring visitors through there during a busy work day. It's like an underground city there.
your travel vlogs are so inspiring. im going on a solo day trip to Edinburgh in a few weeks and I can't wait. its definitely not a thing most 19 year olds would be into
I’ve never been, but everyone seems to love Toronto. Are you missing Luigi vey much? I used to go away for field work for months at a time, and I missed my dog and cats so much. Especially the cats for cuddling and sleeping, they wouldn’t share the bed with my enormous, 130 lb. dog, who had the utmost respect for their claws.
Is this really a solo trip? It would be good to know how you planned this and how you decided to do what you did, don’t you get tired of rich restaurant food? I’m not sure how realistic and practical this trip is. Could anyone do this and is money no issue at all? Saying that I do love your vlogs.
I've done trips similar to this solo before. They are expensive yes, but it depends where you spend your money in terms of priorities - at the time I was pretty low income, but I didn't spend my money on much apart from travel and lived at home. Influencers seem to make a very comfortable income and given most of the world hasn't been able to travel for a year and a half I don't blame Lizzy for splurging on a big trip like this, especially as she's still working for most of it! Even if not everyone has an option for a trip like this does that mean Lizzy shouldn't do it, if it's what she wants? I don't understand the judgement here.
Just put the video on. You have a cat where is he? I find it really strange people who have pets then leave them for a long period to go travelling. You wouldn't leave ur child for that long so why leave ur pet?

I have been non-stop binging your travel vlogs, all the japan ones, and Italy too, you just have such a way of capturing such amazing aspects!
I love her travel vlogs, I have most of them saved in a playlist that I rewatch whenever I need chill travel vibes.
only Lizzy can pull off a non generic travel vlog that I can watch over and over again..
Right 🥺😍

Lovely travel vlogs, glad you’re enjoying your solo trip! Hope to visit these places one day!
The Hermes jacket 😍😍 absolutely stunning!
so happy to hear that you've enjoyed Toronto so much! you also chose some great spots to visit.
Oh, I miss Toronto. Haven't been there in over a decade!
it’s changed quite a lot :)
Loved this!! The dessert shot reminded me of your annual mince pie reviews 😋 looking forward to that in December!! 😄

Hiya! I hope to be in Toronto what hotels would you suggest? Would love a local’s perspective
Me too! But it makes so much sense from a tourist perspective, being close to union station and close to the pearson express

Awww Welcome to Toronto Lizzy!
Loving the travel vlogs Lizzy. Inspires me to travel and explore. Thanks so much for sharing 😊
If you love the village in a city vibe you have to come to Australia and visit Melbourne! I think it’s right up your alley 😍
I thought exactly the same thing. 😊
Yes! Melbourne is an amazing city, everyone who can should visit!

Hi! I am getting ready to watch your video. It is always nice accent during a day.
Yeah, I may need to plan a trip to Toronto. Lizzy, that Hermes jacket is just…gorgeous!😍😍😍😍
Travel vlogs keep getting better :) thanks for sharing as always! x
Constantly stopping and waiting at crosswalks is what you get when you design cities with priority for cars.

I'm sooo curious what your opinion would be if you were to visit Montreal. Can't wait to watch your NY adventures!
my city!!! love seeing it from someone else's perspective!
I live in the suburbs outside of Toronto. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
Yay! So glad you loved Toronto! Come back and let's hang out!

Love the vest jumper so cute

Ahhhh yes I feel the same about Barcelona - too many damn traffic lights!

What brand are thoes jeans again please ? Thanks x
Hi Lizzy! Loving the travel vlogs so much. I wanted to ask which color where your Boston birkenstock first pair? Thankyou! ♥️

Where did the Mejuri girls take you for dinner?
What watch are you wearing these days?
Out of interest, how did you get to NYC whilst the restrictions from the UK to US are in place until Nov?
By staying in Canada first: you can’t enter the US directly from England, I believe
May I ask who is looking after Luigi?
