I say without exaggeration I was floored when I saw the updates to this popular and long running camper! Both inside and out this is perhaps the single largest facelift I've ever seen applied to an RV brand from one year to the next! I know it won't be "for everyone" but I personally love the updated dining setup and all of the cool cosmetic changes compared to last year!
This RV now also features stackable washer/dryer prep which came at quite a surprise as well!

This is brilliant, props to the Salem/Wildwood team for getting this together! Getting those floor flush slides for the versa lounge is incredible too, and I love the pet steps! Looking forward to seeing some of the other floor plans that implement that. I definitely feel like the bathroom storage situation was a miss though, even if they didn't increase the actual space available, I feel like they needed a drawer or door of *some sort* to hide away toiletries.

This thing is punching WAY above its weight class. I had to look back at previous iterations of this and - wow. The interior design of this is exceptional. Wow.

As far as the open shelves in the bathroom, you can get book shelves from Menards or where ever, install and use as cabinet doors to make a medicine cabinet (works for the uppers, not so much for the lowers).
Pet steps!!! Brilliant! What an upgrade for the brand!! I really love the contour of how the shape of the bedroom windows match the angle of the nose cap. Pay attention Keystone!
That window is a typical rectangular window with a black decal shape to make it look different. Very much like what Ember and Brinkley do on their exterior designs.
When I commented how much I love the 24 view and you replied back n said JUST WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE 2025 SALEMS..... HOLY WOW! I'm such a freak for the L-sofa, the bed, washer/dryer hook up and the kitchen....WOW!

I think they nailed this floor plan. The bathroom storage is a miss but wouldn't say it's a deal breaker.
This one would be pretty close to Mary Poppins practically perfect if not for the floor vent smack dab in the middle of the living room. They absolutely nailed the execution of the desk and Versalounge! You might laugh, but I'm picturing a second Versalounge where the recliners are, backed up against the sink cabinet. It really does tick all the boxes, it just trips one of our major dealbreakers in the process. It feels like they put 90% of their attention and effort into the living room and kitchen, then added the bathroom and bedroom almost as an afterthought. They're definitely on the right track, but I don't think they're quite there yet. If other manufacturers swipe the way they did the dinesk in this unit there might be a whole lot of winning floorplans in 2025. Thanks for the tour, Uncle Josh!
I’ve mentioned ductless flooring would fit this series better but a lot of classic brands have maintained the floor heating
Wow, wow and more wow! It looks like two serious camper people had the tools and ideas to create anything they wanted. Just the stove vent design makes it look like people cared when they designed it. Being a camper that can remember the campers they built in the 60"s with real wood and then just kept getting cheaper built and cheaper built until now. It's actually hard for me to believe an RV manufacturer came up with all the things they added and changed! So many very cool ideas!!!

This is extraordinary! I do see distinct hints of Brinkley inside and out and good for Wildwood for recognizing and incorporating some design changes. No need to reinvent the wheel. Who knows, Brinkley may return the favor and consider adding clever microwave covers! A small ottoman or two would be appreciated. The green pillows need to go far, far away. The brown upholstery is nearly enough all by itself to chase me away. The “baby poop brown” color is repellent to some of us. It’s an ocean of brown in there. Perhaps consider shades of gray (not THAT Shades of Grey) or at least a light tan upholstery and lighter wood tones. Lighten it up, please! This is a very special unit, both floor plan and execution. Well done.
Montana kind of originated that microwave cover in some of their FWs but considering it’s a stick built camper it’s kinda crazy how modern it feels

I absolutely love the new floorplan👍but a ladder, a TV and a quality porcelain toilet would go a long way in making it look less entry level💥
Being able to chose your own TV is a good thing. Unless you actually WANT the least expensive TV you can buy. 😊
@@Erin-Thor I’ve owned Samsung, LG, TCL, Sharp, Toshiba etc and when you’re talking 50” and under almost any current Smart TV would be fine with me just for a rainy day😂and almost every other RV that isn’t entry level has a standard TV, so any RV that doesn’t looks cheaper than it should👍
@@stevez340 - I’m with you, but I also like a second monitor, so I prefer a 4K UHD TV/Monitor. My experience with RV TV’s have been lessons in frustration.
I agree that a 12v TV would be nice.

They ABSOLUTELY nailed it with color scheme and innovative use of space and love the new kitchen features. I'm a toy hauler fanatic, so I pray they make a FSX with these colors and features!
FSX adopting the retro metal now and the interior decor for 2026’s
FSX JUST changed interiors last year so they’re running one more season

Omg! This looks a lot better than least year! Love the new outside colors. Look so modern! The interior looks so much better to! Love the kitchen! Love all the storage! Why no slide side windows? They hand them this year. The new lights are so cool. Over all love of the door side windows! The bath room is good. The bedroom is great. Love the bed! Thank you josh! This looks amazing. Nice job Salem/Wildwood for not just refreshing but reimagining! I like the versa lounge, what I don't like is the HEIGHT of the 'din-esk.' The camper has a TON a huge windows. The slide window above the 'dine-esk' should have been sacrificed, made more shallow, in order to allow for a bar height dining experience. Right now, the height reminds me of the kids table at Thanksgiving. Overall though? THIS IS FANTASTIC! Thanks for getting us some 2025 footage Josh!!

Finally manufactures are using seating designs from live on boats ! Versatility ! Now they need to step up on entertainment systems, like large TV’s refrigerators etc! That is the perfect interior !

@@JoshtheRVNerd absolutely! Interchangeable furniture,eating, and entertainment options should be used! I truly like the toy hauler back door patio design without any intention for a toy to be hauled! That whole area where the “Toy” would be hauled can be used as a bar, entertainment area etc, but minus the flooring and tie downs ! Over so many years all the flooring concepts have been copied, redone etc but, with nothing being changed. Anyways, I truly love your show Josh and admire your commitment and helpful insights in RV’s ! You’ve seen them all in 16 years, I just wish we could get some “New Blood” in the interior designs ! Peace ☮️ out brother and keep on keeping on to keep this American past alive, especially in this government environment for EV’s ! That would be the death to towing recreation campers and trailers

Thanks for the walk thru on this one! I really love the spacecraft look in these new models. Makes me wonder if we're going to see exciting new things in other manufacturers. I love the dinette feature and all the counterspace in this kitchen model.

Wow!! Now add a foot to the ceiling and a bunk room in the back and it's perfect...Im sold!...IMO!
I would say I'd go with light colored furniture to make it feel bigger and match the slide floor to the main floor.
Much prefer this version of the versa-lounge. The seating surfaces of the old one looked (and felt) so cheap IMO. The desk/dining is ❤❤❤. I would rather see a microwave in my kitchen than a big black box. The exterior looks modern and sleek, but that’s a lot of white and nothing to distract the eye. Unless that’s paint, which it can’t be lol, will that not look pretty filthy in a few years? Overall really thoughtful and I love that they are listening to their customers!
It actually could be paint. It’s just not. If neglected it would show age, sure. Properly maintained they hold their gleam
This total update was long overdue! I am only at the 7:05:00 timestamp and am thoroughly enjoying the total feast of updates to this guy. It looks like they reworked absolutely everything you can touch, see or feel. And maybe even sniff and smell. I also see shades of the long gone 50’s dash of style and elegance in the shapes and textures choosen for everything. Looks like they made a huge effort to banish the chintzy cheap rump sharp edge corner cost cutter build it quick and dirty nobody cares beady-eyed production gods found everywhere.
Forest River has come out swinging on their 2025 model year for sure. Inside and out, they went for big changes. At first glance, it really does look like they're trying to "class up" their low and mid level models. The lighting improvements and overall design shift seem really promising at first glance. This made me go peek at the FR website and WOW. Wait until you show how radically different the Alpha Wolf line is. I can't wait for Josh to review more 2025 Forest River lines so we can see where they "nailed it and failed it".

I keep coming back to this unit. I wish they had a lighter upholstery option but I’d buy it today anyway. It’s awesome. I really love what they’ve done here and really love the impact and feel of all of the radius features. Feels like home and in some ways better than!

One thing I notice with many camp kitchens is how small they are. It’s great to include a griddle top, but they are always just the small single burner size. Which is fine, but it would be fantastic if they would do a little engineering that would allow you to swap up to a 22” Blackstone and still be able to slide it in the kitchen.
They did good on the updates. only thing about the light saber lights bugs.

Would really like to see more shelves in the bath to make room for small baskets to hold medicine and toiletries. Would prefer that the faux curtains were longer than the windows. Missed an opportunity to use modern stabilizer jacks. Other than that, this is a home run.

@@JoshtheRVNerd maybe move the kitchen up to the door, unfortunately losing the 2 chairs and installing the bunks towards the rear. 🤔 maybe move the bathroom to the rear as well and just shift the dinette and couch and entertainment wall to back the front bedroom .
This camper makes me drool a little bit and makes me wanna change a few things a little bit. Kudos to the versatile chairs lounge area would like to see the back table area reworked maybe make it more of a computer desk area…. you could always use TV trays. I absolutely love the stairs with the bed as a couple With two French bulldogs, this would be effing perfect that part was well thought out washer dryer prepped if you want it. Hell, yeah outdoor kitchen Griddle.. f yeah… I could go Without the floor vent and maybe a footrest in the shower area for the ladies… love the color combination… Was beginning to think the keystone was the only one that was gonna work this gives you an option to think about and I for one am digging it

Those versa loung sofas have always been useful but (in my personal opinion) looked awful 😬 But that redesign with the brown plush has made a big difference, looks much better 😊

This looks so good! The only thing I would change is that dated 1990s brown pleather furniture. It makes it look cheap, to me, especially with all of that new mid-century inspired decor.

Love this floor plan! Makes me want to consider a stick and tin TT. The living space is so useable & versatile. Room for all the grandkids & their parents too. I was thinking there was a televator That living space does look like a TT.

It's cool that they are starting to think about pets. Now we just need a spot to put a litter box that's accessible to clean out from outside but has a little door for a cat to use it. Seems like something that would be easy to do and would just be storage for people without cats.

Another excellent video. I like the changes. Well thought out tweaks to an otherwise typical layout. I believe they hit a home run here and will entice many buyers as a result. For me I would want a porcelain flush & more room to walk around the bed. I will be checking it out in person first chance I get.

Sharp looking unit with nice updates. Big downside I see is the awfully low payload capacity. Won't take much to overload it.

1) I’m so glad that I haven’t bought my first camper yet, because the more I watch your channel the more models I like.
2) There is a lot to like about this one, but a couple of concerns.
3) I like how you can move the chairs. I also like your idea of extending the kitchen and having an eat in bar that can also double as a cooking counter space or space for entertaining.
4) While this one will get added to the virtual list of 37 that is infinity long by now, the more I watch the more neat things that I see… I may have to have a custom built camper to satisfy all my desires 😂
5) In the bedroom closet… what’s the deal with the daylight showing in the inside seams? Or was that from your camera lighting? 18:25 mark.
6) I typically don’t care for the siding look on a stick and tin, but I like this for the most part.
7) What is the largest flat screen that can be mounted on that tv wall?
8) Your photo for the price description link doesn’t match the camper just FYI
9) Future. I think this is a camper that you would buy.
10) Seems in general that one needs a minimum 3/4T truck for all campers.

Great upgrades we have a 2020 Wildwood 27RKS, I HATE THEY DIDNT DO A FULL SIZE DOOR ON THE OFF CAMP SIDE WHERE ALL THE HOOK UP EQUIPMENT GOES. C’MON MAN!

@@JoshtheRVNerd some 13 days back you did the review of the Class C that’s the size of a Class B with the nice off road capabilities. I stated something like it had all the comforts of home off the beaten path. A
/@Letmecook86 responded to me with a list of things it did not contain for it to have all the comforts, followed by “shall I go on? “ I stated the things it did indeed have and referenced time stamp with the specs at the given time on the video. Jokingly I closed by saying something like feel free to go on though. I didn’t feel it rose to anything malicious but I guess it could be viewed as snarky. Well that and another comment questioning where my post went were deleted and I didn’t think you would delete that (without telling me why) or you had someone editing for you. I never got a “Community Standard” warning either.
Anyways, not the biggest deal but it bothered me a little. Anyways I always enjoy our silly banter and hope to continue serious rv reviews a some funnies too.

Like the windows. Not enough cargo allowance. Would rather have the microwave exposed. Like the space where the chairs are as an option to put what you want, like a cat tree or a dogs sleeping area.
