    That deck attachment system seems like the best I’ve ever seen! I wish all manufacturers made them like that!
    I’m saving up for my first impact. 🔧😉

      I hear great things about Harbor freights 1/2 inch new ultra torque impact, and not that expensive either.

      Definitely an easier deck design to work with but hangars seem to bend often. Hope you love your new impact!

    Wow! I have the exact same mower very good video as always. I too removed the plastic covers on the deck, being a fabricated deck, it's very easy to keep clean with a leaf blower after mowing when the covers aren't there. I'll come back to the video if needed !

    If you lower the deck all the way down then bring it back up sometimes the deck will jump off the rearbar

    I own a TORO Time Cutter 5000 with a 50-inch, three-blade deck. When I removed the twelve Mandel bolts, only nine snapped off. I was lucky. This happens when you use steel bolts to attach the deck to an alloy Mandel. TORO could have used stainless steel bolts, but they cost more. The deck removal has to be the worst I've ever seen. Pulling the deck out on a concrete floor is nearly arm-breaking as the forward-facing wheels act like wheel chocks. I place a large piece of cardboard under the deck, making sliding the deck much easier.

      Definitely! Many of them are really bad with the three blade system and heavy/awkward

      @@IndRepair Thanks for your reply. Yes, they are cumbersome. If TORO had put caster wheels on the mower, this would have solved the problem. I placed a wench in my garage attic. I use it to raise my mower's front after disconnecting the deck. This allows me to push the deck forward from underneath the mower. If I lower the mower and push it out, I can use the wench to place my deck on a worktable. This was a great DIY project.

    She was a smoker. Is that the next video?

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  Місяць тому +2

      It just may be. Been a weird one, started fine when I fired it up to pull it out, smoked for a short bit then cleared up perfect. When I went to pull it back in, it would not start when the choke was taken off. If it was something related to the carburetor probably won't do a video. I think I did one with a similar repair on this engine before
