I'm not too sure actually. Increasing it is supposed to smooth out textures when viewed at an angle, but it's probably not a big difference honestly. You're CPU settings are probably fine too, but I recommend you mess around with the SPU stuff as well as the Firmware Settings to test and see if you get any performance boosts. Here are my settings to compare: puu.sh/y4k8I/1711681c84.pngI have read that changing "Preferred SPU Threads" anywhere between 2 and 4 can improve performance depending on one's hardware.
Mr. Fiddlesticks why do people say that no it dont darks style is way better the areas souls 1 2 and demon is bland tho the colors Bourne got the best style and graphics unless we talkin souls 3 cause thats on pc
How does this run so well? I can't even play this on the "Vulkan" graphics without it crashing immediately when it loads the gameplay. It only runs for me on OpenGL even then it lags a lot, especially when I roll into boxes. I have a AMD R9 390x for a graphics card. Maybe my processor sucks? Or should I just wait for a better version of the emulator?
Emulators, such as RPCS3, are more dependent on a CPU that can emulate the architecture the game was written for. Motherboards serve more as connectivity for other components such as RAM, GPU, ect. For the most part, your CPU is what matters when it comes to emulation.
I'm trying play in 4K. But it's impossible in open areas, like the front of Boletaria Palace, or on it's walls. The frame rate drops a lot. i7 4790K, GTX1080TI, 8GB DDR 3.
Ah, man, this looks amazing. My computer isn't that bad but I can't get the game to work at a playable level. i7 4790k, GTX 980, 16GB ram, samsung SSD, and MSI Z87 gaming. Just gonna wait for a PS4 remaster i guess
thats funny because they dont remaster enough classics. even though it is a good idea. this and red dead redemption would be nice on a newer console. Im all for remastering classics in 4k and a new game engine
Same CPU and RAM here but I'm running a 980ti. I get lots of audio stuttering with frame rate stutters. Even if I don't scale the resolution up and just run at 720p there is no difference. It's playable, but not completely enjoyable.
Outside this tutorial it really does not run anywhere near stable 30, let alone a possible 60. It's playable, but be prepared for some really low and unstable frame-rate. It's still early days tho, can't imagine things getting slower with improved emulation accuracy (tho it is possible)
You'll need a compatible blue-ray drive capable of reading PS3 games. RPCS3 has a list of compatible blue-ray drives and a step-by-step guide on the dumping process. it looks absolutely amazing, so sharp and clear
sick fuckin parries
Man it runs so much better for you! I can't wait for the day I can run this game at 60fps.
Also any particular reason you leave Anisotropic Filter on auto?
These settings where recommended to me by the devs of RPCS3 on their discord server. Is there any benefit to changing it?

The same thing happens in Dark Souls but outside of sliding on ladders it is usually playable at 60.
@@adamiadamiadami lol
damn parry king
Awesome quality!
You have a dumb name lol! My comment was lit
WTF fucking amazing, I would love to play it that way.
wtf it looks better than ds2 on pc
What not even close lol. It looks okay because of straight resolution and nothing more. DS2 Scholar looks way better than this at 4K.
I can assure you it's not.
It looks better if the reso on pc is 1080 or 720
No, if you use DSFix
Mr. Fiddlesticks why do people say that no it dont darks style is way better the areas souls 1 2 and demon is bland tho the colors Bourne got the best style and graphics unless we talkin souls 3 cause thats on pc
How can i use vulkan without crashing? It doesnt have the GTX option just the intel option, yes i know nothing about computers bit im still confused

What was your mobo? Or does a better motherboard matter with this game?

@@JollyRogers1503 That's very helpful, thanks!
Noticed in settings you have the resolution set to 720p but the scaling the 4k. Why not change the base resolution?
The only supported resolutions for this game is 480p and 720p. If set to anything higher the game will crash.

i5 7400 with gtx 1060 6gb can run it ?
Has there been any attempts to get this game running at 60fps via Hack?

@theboy181 No clue, but if the coding is similar to Dark Souls then it could be possible. Like what Durante did with DSFix.
how do I get the actual game to play on rpcs3? It makes no sense to me. I have the physical game if I have to rip it, but I don't know how.

can i run it with gtx1050 ti
hey i had the same set as you but i was getting shit frames at even 1080p. what is the settings you used to play demon souls?
It does look good, but no way I am going back to it unless they do a full remaster.
Emulated in 4K60 is the best remaster it's going to get
@@raresmacovei8382 I'm so glad you were wrong.
how does it run on boletarian palace?
Panagiotis Doxopoulos Lots of stuttering for me on an i7 4790k and 980ti.
Is it really 60 fps or just blocked to 30 fps?
The game is being played at 30fps. The video was rendered at 60fps.
NPUB30910 ou NPEB01202 ?
I'm on BLUS30443. NPUB and NPEB are PSN versions of the game, which aren't currently not compatible with RPCS3.
Can you show up Boletaria?
I'll have a new video up by next week.
I have an AMD A10 7850K running @4.0GHz and a GTX 1050 Ti and I barely get 20fps.
