I was stuck there for 10 FUCKING hours before I rage quit and watched a walkthrough. Then I realized I wasn't supposed to go there, so I started again.

I loved it and it clearly shows how people need to start from the roots, then move on. ^^ Two things: 1: Don't forget to crit (backstab/ripost) and to parry. 2: You can slide down ladders, just uses a different button combo. Keep up the great content!
Little tip with the mimics, mimics are recognizable by the chain on the right of the chest, if the end faces to the back of the chest it´s not a mimic, if it faces the front it is one
Sliding down ladders in dark souls 1 is a stupidly obscure mechanic. You press the run/dodge/jump button once to descend ladders quickly unlike any other game
If you wanna spot a mimic just keep an eye on the chains next to the chests, mimics curl differently from normal chests, and if you pay close attention you can see them breathing slightly
If you do that full series, remember to manage your equip load and use plunge attacks on enemies below you! (And it’s best you use your sword instead of the spear)
And so, gravity once again proves to be the single deadliest foe in Lordran. Lovin' the Soulsborne vids, man. Glad you're enjoying(?) these games that have a special place in my (admittedly slightly masochistic) heart!
That was an amazing take on the game. I have thousands of hours in DS and 36 characters in dark souls on ps3 and dark souls remaster on ps4. I have never seen the guy get stuck up on the scaffolding and found it hilarious. I still feel for him as I have been trapped like that numerous times in the game. Bloodborne is the best of all and I have hours doing all 25 dungeon variations on 6 toons plus I did many other dungeons for the many runes and weapon variations. I have twenty characters across my many profiles. I hope you are enjoying the game ! Peace
In the introduction he explains that the Ancient Dragons are extinct, but that red thing that flew away is a Wyvern, in which in the game a great distinction of power and intelligence

10:19 "a little bit of eternal suffering is a better punishment for you than giving you the sweet release of death" - best quote i've heard for a while...
I bought Dark Souls Remastered about a month ago on sale and said to myself "I'll just play it til I get bored to see what the original was like" and ended up damn near 100%ing the entire game. lol I even beat Artorias and Black Dragon Kalameet from the DLC. Absolutely LOVED this game. I might like it more than 3 because there is something about the level design for DS1 and Bloodborne that I really enjoy where the entire map is connected, but not at first as you gotta beat certain bosses and find certain keys/levers to connect new areas to older areas. And something about the NPCs in this game just resonate more than others. I actually put DS1 up there now in my personal top tier of favorite games of all time. I think I put damn near 100 hours in just enjoying exploring and finding all the little details. Just a genuinely fantastic game.

Litterly just hit the chest
Sliding down ladders in dark souls 1 is a stupidly obscure mechanic. You press the run/dodge/jump button once to descend ladders quickly unlike any other game
If you wanna spot a mimic just keep an eye on the chains next to the chests, mimics curl differently from normal chests, and if you pay close attention you can see them breathing slightly
thank you for breaking down the barriers to learning complex subjects!
How did you know to check for mimics when Elden ring doesn’t have any? Seems sus
Idk maybe FROM MEMES??? Idk what rocl you lived under but the mimic memes were kinda big back then, no doubt he saw them.

I’m definitely down to follow your first play through of DS1. But I’m with the rest of your fans, we want to see you best Bloodborne!
Please go in blind as much as you can. You’ll miss some but getting lost is part of its charm~
If you do that full series, remember to manage your equip load and use plunge attacks on enemies below you! (And it’s best you use your sword instead of the spear)
Quite a misleading title. Makes it seem like Elden Ring was your first and ONLY from game before trying ds1.
Not really it said "when an Elden Ring player tries DARK SOULS for the first time?" Not bloodborne, not demon souls DARK SOULS
Not bad for your first playthrough. You're one of the only players I've ever seen actually go the right way after reaching Firelink
Bloodborne is still the best souls game. Better than elden ring.
Stop smoking shit.
Dude that was amazing. Keep going.
When i first found this dude's channel(2 days ago) I thought he had like 500k+ bro is underated and I love the videos so damn much, keep it up dawg
Seeing that first merchant live is so odd to me, I always killed him for his Uchigatana...if I didnt get the Zweihander.
That chosen undead...
He looks like he got hit with a brick driving down the highway.
4:49 and to that I say you’d be absolutely correct
Did not expect JSRF music, love it!
Happy to see this, btw remember to two hand your weapon if you cant use your shield in a fight
12:47 "a friendly dude" is a bit of an understatement.
Thats THE friendly dude
It’s so fun, I’ve started ds1 2 days ago as someone who only played elden ring, I’ve had the same reactions to everything lmao
And so, gravity once again proves to be the single deadliest foe in Lordran.
Lovin' the Soulsborne vids, man. Glad you're enjoying(?) these games that have a special place in my (admittedly slightly masochistic) heart!
When you poke a black knight early game lol. It goes south fast
Hearing someone say "Ooh, there's backstabbing" about DS1 is kinda funny.
Nice vid :)
In undead Berg, the red flying creature is a Drake, not a dragon
Hollow is when you have no remains of a soul left. Right now youre undead but now hollow.
Hollows are the shriveled up mindless zombies
Lacrimosa was a nice touch when you realised you aren’t meant to die to the asylum demon.
I need a full series
Just started playing dark souls 1 after wanting to get into the whole series for like years now and man is this a perfect game, hard but fair and amazing art style. Can’t wait till I get to Elden ring now.
I'm just gonna say it, I love the Sonic Unleashed songs you used throught the video, 10/10 content
This was my first Souls game, it will always have a special place in my heart.
thanks for providing me with a good morning Spicy 😌
“It’s all about timing in This game”
Im now curious to know as to how you been playing Elden ring, blood born, and sekiro…
Forreal. This game has nothing to really do with timings because all your enemies are slow and you, the player character, are slower.
I like how the stray demons and the Erdtree guardians have the same moveset. And they both chonky
man beated taurus demon without using the high tower jump mega hit like nothing, clearly a well timed roll guy
The map design is honestly unmatched. I'd love to see more games like that, but I doubt modern games will return to that level.
@@quintit it's too bad because Idk about you but I am sick to death of the repetitive slog of open world games. I would love for more devs to choose quality over quantity again.
@@NeutralGloomBot The live service model and micro transactions are way too popular. But yea, that'd be nice
Funnily enough, that cathedral fight probably won't the last time he says he's done with Bloodborne
Amazing video!
I was super surprised you have only 16k subs.
Keep making videos you are really entertaining! 🙏
I feel like this series was made for me, but I knew nothing about it until I saw Elden Ring. Still haven’t played Elden Ring, but I’m loving Dark Souls so far.
"I don't like the sound of Blight Town" - I am very much looking forward to your Blight Town episode :D
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING LMAO
IM SURPRISED NOONE ELSE BUT YOU AND ME COMMENTED ABOUT THAT HAHAHA
HE EVEN DESCRIBED IT PERFECTLY TOO AND HE HASNT EVEN BEEN THERE YET 🤣
dude i LOVE the souls games, im super excited to see how you get about playing the souls trilogy
Funny that you make a 0 death pewdiepie reference. His Dark Souls playthrough is actually what got me into Fromsoftware games 😂
Nice. I recently did something similar and tried out the souls series basically blind. But hadnt played any of the other games ether. Some small nuggets of advice that stopped me from uninstalling:
Fastrolling in this game is a lot more important. There really is a tradeoff on going over 25% carryweight. And dont be afraid to look stuff up if you're stuck.
fast roll is good but not essential. Poise is way more useful. That's why I'd recommend new players grab the wolf ring asap. It makes a world of difference.
I will never say no to a DS1 series on UA-cam
