I've been making cakes for a couple of years and never made a fondant covered cake. Thanks to you, I can face my fear. 🙃🙃🙃 I'm inspired by your work. Awesome!!!
Thank you for publicly showing us that placing fondant on a cake can be less intimidating and yet just as beautiful! I've tried this before, but I felt "less than" because it was not the "normal" way of covering a cake with fondant. I have used patterned rolling pins and surfaces that also work beautifully.
Thank you for sharing! Ive been struggling to cover a cake with fondant. ( it always rips at the top as soon as I put the fondant over the cake) i will try this method of wrapping it around the cake instead of draping the fondant over the cake.
How simplicity in this video makes me feel I can do this. I did a fondant cake but was having issues with the top. I will try again after I get a blade. I got this. Thank you
Thank you. I am doing a Wedding Cake and was so scared to Wrap 4 cakes with Fondant. 😄 I will try your technique. It looks much easier than the other way I did. 😊👍🏻
@@ChynaBSweets I covered all 4 cakes Yesterday and it was so easy with your technique. 😊👍🏻 I have to practice to get that Sharp edges, but for the first time it was so good and much easier than covering all with one layer 😄👍🏻😎I'll do it next time again thank you. 😊
Try Fantasia Fondant, you won't regret it. It is a very forgiving fondant with a long work time, which makes it easy to work with for beginners and pros. Fantasia Fondant is formulated with elasticity making it a high performing fondant when covering cakes or performing in silicon cake molds. The colors of Fantasia Fondant are vivid and fadeproof. This fondant will not prematurely dry, crack, tear, break and 'elephant skin.' Offers a less sweet taste that resembled a homemade marshmallow fondant.
FINALLY!!!!!! I’ve been waiting for a video that showed a different type of fondant covering!! The traditional slap it over the top and push the kinks out does not work for me!! But this method is amazing!!!!! 👍👍👍 thank you!!!
Do you refrigerate the cake after being covered in fondant? If so, how long? Would it create condensation when taken out the fridge? Thanks in advance.
Ohhhh my lord thank you for sharing us this is great i love backing but with fondant i m not so good but after this video I will definitely enjoy it to cover with fondant thank you thank you

Hello. Thank you for the video. Can you tell me which cream are you using before the fondant. Thank for your response!
My pleasure. I use American buttercream to frost my cakes. I refrigerate the cake to make sure the buttercream is firm, then I apply the fondant.

Yes, chilled.
Hi, can we use whipped cream instead of butter cream before covering it with fondant?
You can, but I wouldn't recommend it because whipped cream is not as sturdy.
@@ChynaBSweets alright ma'am, thank you ❤️
Please what’s the name of the kite shaped knife you used in cutting the edge of the fondant
What brand of fondant is best?

How did u color the fondant before rapping it on the cake?
I knead gel food coloring into my fondant before covering my cakes.
Thanks for the video. But I have a question ma. Will putting the Fondant in the refrigerator not make it to sweat?
Thank you for watching. Your cake will sweat, but as it comes to room temperature, the condensation will evaporate.
Wooooowwwwww ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Thanks alot for the great explanation ❤️ did you freeze the cake after covering with butter icing ?
Thank you for watching. I placed the cake in the refrigerator until I was ready to finish decorating.
For the top part can you cut it the same size of cake board to save time?
Yes, you could do that too.
