Anyone can call themself a Christian, but the proof will be a true conversion and not a feel good Hollywood conversion! You do not need to suffer to be led to salvation, it is a gift. Their is nothing you can do to be saved it is all of God even your own acceptance of Christ is prompted by God. Conversion to Christianity is not as simple as people think and with it comes many changes in your character. For the good!
