Well there's the insufferable lot who actually know their stuff, and then there's insufferable film bros who think they know stuff, but only watch the most mainstream American movies and random crap that doesn't matter. And of the lot who do know their stuff, most tend to be pretentious cucks who think you have to esteem the "classics" as highly as they've been told to do, or else you're so "cinematically illiterate".

Popeye Meets Sinbad (It's a short film, but no other animated films come close to it's aesthetic.)
