Just love your videos. so authentic. you always make great use of the varied stock you have, I notice some triang vans there in the parcels train .thanks for sharing have a good xmas
Hi, Thank you very much indeed for the endorsement, I'm delighted you enjoyed. Tri-ang produced some distinctive wagons back in the day which can still pass muster in formations today. The cattle wagon, three containers wagon, trestrol wagon, and the bogie chlorine/ICI wagons feature regularly in my uploads. The green goods van work reasonably well with Southern utility stock. Final upload of the year is scheduled for Christmas Eve, Cheers, Graeme
A Good Running Session you have got there - Your Railway looks very busy!!! I've spotted that you use H & M Duette, That's the Controller that I use!!! 🙂🚂🚂🚂
@@crewelocoman5b161 Most enjoyable and the opening of Golden Arrow Pullmans passing a pair of 2 BIL units thence the King Arthur hurtling towards the camera is magic..... 🙂 _Psst @3.50 - no swingers on the Southern._ 😉 _(in the spirit of being helpful)_
@@crewelocoman5b161 A swinger is a last vehicle devoid of a brake (guard); on the main line it was normal practice for the guard to always be in the rear vehicle. Lovely running session . Not too familiar with the Southern but I’d say Hornby Merchant Navy on Pullman . King Arthur on express . Are the units Hornby 2 BILs and I’d the parcels train an N15? I love the sounds they make going over the points . Superb . Merry Christmas - hope Santa brings a train !
Hi Russell Many thanks for your contribution as always. Yep, Merchant Navy on the Pullman, Nearly there with the 'Arthurs'. N15= King Arthurs; S15= loco on the parcels or if you like 'Arthur' with smaller (5' 6'') driving wheels but no names, purely mixed traffic. Don't forget the Stroudley 'Terrier' on station pilot duties!! 2 BILs yes. Next upload scheduled for Christmas Eve.
Lovely stuff. Everything is just so. What Golden Arrow pack did you use, the Fox one? The S15 is probably my favorite model from hornby. I have the olive version with extra vacuum pump on the valve gear. Nice to see the terrier station pilot as well. Have a lovely Christmas 🙂
Hi, Many thanks, it's always good to hear from you. Yes the S15, a damn good engine, the nearest the Southern had to a heavy freight loco and more than capable of turning a wheel on a passenger turn! Yes, it's the Fox 'Golden Arrow' set. Stay tuned, there's another upload scheduled for Christmas Eve...
Wonderful running session, the blue Merchant Navy looks beautiful with the Golden Arrow boards! Merry Christmas 🚂🎄☃
Thank you very much indeed for your comment. Delighted you enjoyed! All the very best!
