  • Part one of three model railway running session videos for the autumn season with the mix of trains running during September/October 2024 including some new additions such as Hornby 8F and West Country Class in Southern Railway green BLACKMOOR VALE.
    The T9 returns following repairs and tested on the layout seen in the video.

    Where's Jimmy the Jinty and his brothers? They suit something like this as well as the N2 or whatever he is, which I'm not keen on. Nice video anyway. The only thing that spoiled it was the stinky diesels.

    Is the warship at the end a mainline? Was going to buy one on Ebay but was wondering how good the mainline one would run?

      I suspect it's a Bachmann based on the lit headcode.

      It is the Mainline Railways version and they are okay but noisy and the final drive gears are prone to fail, you can get replacements on eBay.

      Hey thanks for the reply. Not got a warship and there are a few mainline ones on Ebay so I may take punt on one, give is a really good full service and see how it goes. Will keep a look out for the final gear issues too
