More trips, please. Am housebound and this is how I "travel'. Be safe and enjoy retirement, stay well.🥰🥳
Perfect place for those that have their own personal summers
Glad you're enjoying retirement. You spent years spreading joy & laughter.😁
You're*
@@MattHadder Thanks I missed that.
We still get to enjoy him on here UA-cam making short reels on here still. 😊
No frost bite huh? That's good.😊
He's living the dream ;)
We love you Bill! Hi to Gayle!
Back at ya!
So glad to see you enjoying your retirement! Stay warm! ❤❤❤❤
Are you going to ride with the sled dogs
That would be so cool.
@@AnnabellaRedwood not really.. I lived there for many many years and I raised sled dogs..we were outside driving them every day.. even my youngest was all bundled up and in the shed.. my other 4 children 9, 6 and 5.. outside no matter what the temperature was.. they can wear complete face mask coverings etc..why go if you can't do all the things Alaska has to offer.. looks like he and his wife need better outside wear.. the people there need to help them understand things better and for god sakes.. ask the people for dark window covering or dark blankets and shut the light out.. wear pjs, warm pj's pull the covers way up and go to sleep.. 😂
Steer clear of the "mooses" and "da bears"! 🐻❄️
Another way to hop into a warm, toasty bed (unless you happen to have a cat that LOVES sleeping under the covers who gets there before you lol) is to plug in a heating pad and tuck it under the covers wherever you want it warm. I learned that one when I had an ankle injury in the winter. Works great - although there are times that I have to boot the cat out of bed because he takes up a ton of bed real estate (he weighs 15 lbs. and takes up almost as much room as another person).
I don't need a water bottle. Cosy House sheets and a Staffy who likes to sleep under the covers next to me. Warm and comfy.
I love this videos. Still kills me that I missed your last tour.
I bet a cold drink the wind chill was 😲
Electric blankets👀
I use a wheat bag (heat pack) during winter. Keeps me toasty warm.
Are you saying you’re an old lady now, Bill? 😂😂
I’m glad you both are having so much fun! Your “happy retirement/second honeymoon” should be the trip of a lifetime - make it good!
We’re all living vicariously through your vlog! Thanks for taking us along!
Take lots of pictures, have lots of fun, when the money runs out call your kids for a loan, and eventually, after you’ve seen and done everything - come home to us all safe and sound!
Miss Gail - you’re looking lovely!
We use hot/cold gel packs sold in pharmacies. 2 minutes in the microwave for heat...., or freeze them during the summer. Have a safe trip
Hi Bill. Sounds like you had a good time
Hot water bottles can be a great warmth for feet, I have one..haven’t used it in years though…problem is, they get COLD. My suggestion is get a heated waterbed. I had one for 32 years, and miss it now..but with my arthritis it was tough getting out of it!!
I am going to let you know that my husband and I both big fan of yours
Thanks so much! That's nice to hear.
You look like you are having fun!!
Always!
Ya'll in Alaska? If so, and you haven't gone on a train ride yet give it a shot. It'll take you through a spot called Moose Pass, at some point you will see a gas station sign that'll give you a giggle.
They're in Norway.
Apparently Bill woke up one morning in his very comfortable heated luxury palace and thought.... "Wouldn't it be fun to freeze and get sunburn at the same time?"❤
Try a electric blanket. I got one last year and I swear it's the best thing I've bought in years.😂
Alright Bill, just to give you a little bit of warm dream land, we finally warmed up in Wyoming. First day in months to hit 80. Zero humidity at 6,000 feet elevation, the tradeoff for brutal winters with -30F + -40F Windchills.
Don't know how you do it!
Hot water bottles...huh. Mama used to heat up bricks and wrap them in newspaper and stuff them in our bedding, those might be hard to find there tho. I can't be the only one that knows this right?!
Well if that's how you get warm, that's creative!
@@BillEngvallComedy Well (deep subject I know) nowadays they have this new invention called natural gas and I am more than willing to pay that bill! Where I live now it's a necessity, you either adapt and survive or you die or leave, most people just leave. My mama sure was creative like telling us we're going to paint the house and give us a bucket of water and a paint brush (that's not my story, I heard it from a friend). She made us wash the white walls on the tires, do they even make those anymore? Huh. I swear I'm younger than you!
@@BillEngvallComedy I could've just said we all just stripped down naked under the blankets but that would've been awkward and NOT TRUE😂
Try an electric fitted heating pad for your mattress. Better than a hot water bottle. Plus it stays warm all night. Luv your posts.
Nice
Hi Gail
Hi Bill .... or you could have vacationed some place nice and warm and watched some excellent videos on the frozen north while sipping on a nice ice tea. Just kidding. Have a great time and take care. Greetings from Canada.
Tell me about it! We have different ideas of where to vacation, but somehow she always wins =)
😊
Brrrrr
bwahahaha Bill! Why does one pay money to be freezing and cold? I don't get it.
Not to mention there were no bathroom facilities...
Is he still in Norway?
it's your retirement and all but....I really don't see how somewhere like that says "vacation"
My wife and I have different ideas of the word "vacation."
