I am also a moodwatcher but the one great thing about being a pretender is when people are convinced that you watch/have watched an Anime and they ask you about your opinion and why do you/don't you like it, the wonder comes from coming with things out of trash and people ARGEEING WITH YOU, agreeing on a statement you just made up or a prediction you made based on the few things to no things you know.

I"m not sure what type I am. My favorite shows are never the most popular shows (which makes finding shwag a pain) although they are not obscure either; I will usually give very popular shows a watch although they usually don't end up as a favorite; I tend to like psychological shows and/or shows with high focus on character development. I will try any genre, though, although if a fight scene goes on for too long I may start ffwding it as I get bored wondering what happens next. I am also willing to give classics a try. I take recommendations and usually rotate between 4 or 5 shows at a time. My three faves at the moment are: Fruits Basket Bungo Stray Dogs FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Fruits Basket and FMA are super popular though. But I guess you mean overall and not currently. Character development, world building and psychological. You'd love stuff like Steins;Gate, Monster or Kaiji 👍

I'm the kinda fan who rarely finds the time and motivation to actually keep up with a show unless it's done together with my partner or friends, so I've become a lot picker about the anime I watch. I mostly stick to seinen and shoujo as they appeal more to me and get less focus from the anime community because the ovezealous hype some shows receive often makes me feel burnt out on them before even having actually watched them (almost ruined Apothecary Diaries and Frieren for me).

Great list breakdown but a small correction - Powerscaler (insufferable nerds)
im something between a moddwatcher and closet weeb. Great choices in clips!
Thank you!
Moodwatchers arise!
I'm that type of anime watcher who can watch all type of anime. Shonen, rom com, mystery, slice of life, isekai, etc. I don't know how I manage to watch so many of these.
Which category do I call in then?
Simply calling that an allrounder would be kinda boring I guess...So, I go with "The 2D Addict" 😎
I would call myself a masochist/emptiness-seeker. ever since I watched toradora about 10 years ago I've been addicted to making myself absolutely miserable by watching shows that leave me feeling empty inside
Ah yes, the need of watching anime to feel something again just to end up feeling like your partner broke up after 20 years 😐
im a anime enjoyer that doesnt watch anime.
ok hear me out.
i consume the medium via memes and general culture.
unfortunately i dont have enough time to watch entire seasons, but its still a good way to figure out whos best girl by indulging yourself in anime weeb culture.
So, the pretender...only without the "talking shit" part :D
Man I used to be a seasonal veteran and then it got to be so much I ended up stopping watching anime all together for like 4 years lmao
I probably fall into the "mainstream" category nowadays, but considering I watch and like shit anime twitter seeths abt, I think I'm doing just a little better than your average tourist.
@@koskk_ Sounds like you're doing fine and having fun. Thats a big W 👍🏼
Moodwatcher, seasonal veteran, trash enjoyer, oldtaku, going on 3 decades. No regrets.
Same, only that its two decades for me. Based!
Definitely a moodwatcher/closet weeb
the cradit of creator that put so much scene of anime that some of them we're not even know them all.
Thank you 🙏
I am the little veteran (or the novice veteran). I try to watch 1h of anime a day all week (without counting the 20min - 1h20 or I make discover to my father) and I watch the animes as soon as he comes out to see the good and bad (bein sure these last are quickly replace)
PS: little tip for what is not worth being too veteran, keep a maximum of 3 animes a day and if there is one you do not like, replace it by another (there are almost always others)
1 hour everyday all week is a nice commitment! 👊
I am a mood watcher and closet weeb when it comes to mood watchers I really only watch romance but I watch it all the way through and my habits when it comes to anime is watching action or romance and checking stuff out that interests me
I have a very soft spot for romance/romcom too. 90% of it is lowkey the same but it works 😅
I wish I didn’t lose my ability to watch hundreds of episodes in just a couple weeks or months ever since then I couldn’t even watch a whole 12 episode anime in a week
Now I’m just a manhwa and manga junkie
Time fs us all over. The good ol' days of just binging everything...
My three faves at the moment are:
Fruits Basket
Bungo Stray Dogs
FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Fruits Basket and FMA are super popular though. But I guess you mean overall and not currently.
Character development, world building and psychological. You'd love stuff like Steins;Gate, Monster or Kaiji 👍
@@KazeKatsu I've seen Seins Gate and Monster. I may give Kaiji a look. thanks
I'm just an Anime-Watcher, I find a Anime that I interested inand than I watch it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Pretty sure we can find a pattern somewhere. Gimme your top 5 anime 👀
@@KazeKatsu When I think about it, My Archetype would be "preferred dub watcher".
My top 5 anime at all time would be currently:
5-Ghost in the Shell
4-K-On
3-Psycho Pass
2-One Piece
1-Gintama
Honorable Mentions:
Stein's Gate
Haikyuu
Free!
Monogatari Sreies
To Aru Series
Konosuba
Elfenlied
Code Geass
Golden Boy
and there are others
Theres also the ones on the brink of being jailed and prosecuted for Club Penguin, Lolicons, the drake community, aka, that one file document
Not sure if I'd count any of those towards a "certain" type of anime watcher^^
@@KazeKatsu They need their own category lol, also you’re underrated as hell, good content my man
@@oogaboogadude Thanks man! I'm in for the long grind!
Im a seasonal veteran that has no life and watches anything that pops up
Sounds good to me ✌
I'm the kinda fan who rarely finds the time and motivation to actually keep up with a show unless it's done together with my partner or friends, so I've become a lot picker about the anime I watch. I mostly stick to seinen and shoujo as they appeal more to me and get less focus from the anime community because the ovezealous hype some shows receive often makes me feel burnt out on them before even having actually watched them (almost ruined Apothecary Diaries and Frieren for me).
I get that. Time is limited and you gotta make the best out of it. I will call it "The Planner". Sometimes I'm annoyed too by the hype some shows get, but often I find myself hyping other ones as well so...yeah 😂
Im more of a mix of moodwatcher and seasonal watcher
I just watch anime that seems interesting, but I tend to watch anime mostly from the 90s and early 2000s
A Retrowatcher then, good choice!
I'm the masterpiece watcher. What ever people call good I watch 👍
Gigabrain move
I would consider myself the person to find some show and watch it through even though I hated it just to afterwards give an unbiased opinion on it. So I basically take my time to analyze why people like a show
@@benji5766 Kinda based ngl
ok yup i am a seasonal veteran and a closet weeb and maybe a trash enjoyer as well
perfect combination
i am a seinen fan, and a shonenpleb at tge same time, if a seinen has fighting thats perfect haha
Black Lagoon might be up you alley if you haven'T watched it yet. No need to recommend vinland saga and berserk I guess xD
im watching every genre of anime and from every year idc if its from 20 years ago or new

Seasonal veteran here.
I'm a kind of Moodwatcher, Manga Detective, JoJo Bro, Trash Enjoyer and Seasonal Veteran... I don't know if I have to be proud or scared of myself.
Both...definitely both.
Do i hear an accent?
Good Video
You do! I'm german.

I'm a seasonal veteran 😄
I am type -1 (the exact oppiset of type 1)
I only watch dark fantasy anime, Tomodachi Game, Redu the healer, Berserk are the type of anime I prefer. But I used be a all type consumer, but now I have little to no time for anime. so I prefer speed running the hole series in one sitting.
,
Yeah, making time to watch a lot of anime is hard enough once you got more shit to do in your life, so either you binge and ball every now and then or it takes weeks to finis 12 episodes xD
I am Paradigma watcher, I watch only animes which can help me change my view on life
Same. I watched the first episode of Shikanoko and decided that I'll never try drugs.
But I get ya, like the good Lain, Bokura no, NHK stuff?
@@KazeKatsu I saw it as well. but it's rather a good hullicinogenic drugs ad. And what do you mean by "Lain"? You maybe mean Shika no ko?
What about hentai watchers? Some if them watch them for the plot.
Good point. They might get a dedicated video in the future, I think that'd be deserved 🤔
Im a moodwatcher and a bit of a trash enjoyer.
The world needs more trash enjoyers 👊
Mother's Basement is a great resource for such cuisine. He does seasonal video about the current trash menu.
@@gilliganallmighty3 I know his channel, watched some videos a while ago but since I started making my own content I ironically ended up watching less anitubers myself 😂
im a shohen watcher
