Tried the garlic roll recipe this afternoon. I ended up with 6 rolls and 3 large bread sticks. Not bad but could be improved with more seasoning in the dough as it was quite bland for me and my son. For next time, I would definitely make thin bread sticks with more garlic seasoning to take full advantage of the flavor and make it less doughy. Thanks for developing this recipe 😊

I have to tell you…I made chocolate chip cookies using your keto flour ( with flax seed meal) and took them to my daughter’s house yesterday for my son’s birthday. It old her I was making these because of my being on Keto and one of my grandchildren is gluten free. My daughter made regular refrigerator chocolate chip cookies. Well everyone took mine and couldn’t believe they were Keto and gluten free. They liked them better than the real ones. 😂😂

Thank you for this recipe. I just baked these as buns, omitting the garlic powder and adding salt instead, I also didn’t do the butter topping. The dough was to sticky to roll into logs even with oily hands. I scooped them unto parchment lined pans and flattened them a bit. They do rise a lot so next time I’ll flatten a bit more yet. Taste is quite good but I do feel the Xanthan gum in my mouth. Will definitely make again and maybe add a bit less Xanthan gum to my next batch of the flour blend.

There is no limit! I made a pumpkin roll using an old recipe I've had for years, I subbed the 3/4 cup of regular all purpose flour the recipe called for, for 3/4 cup of Victoria's cake and cookie flour. The cake for the pumpkin roll came out perfect, no cracks at all. Last year I made several pumpkin rolls from recipes off UA-cam, every last one cracked when I tried to roll them. I am sold on Victoria's flours!
I've been seeing recipes using egg white powder for months - and haven't felt the need to buy any - until I found your channel. Now, it will be delivered tomorrow, and then I need to make a quick run to town for almond flour. I believe I will be making these garlic knots tomorrow. Well, part of it. I think I'm also going to try to make and bake a small pizza crust because I have wanted non-fathead dough pizza crust so much! And this looks like it would be perfect. I made these this evening for dinner. They baked up beautifully and the garlic Parmesan butter was so yummy. The texture was more sponge-like than I was expecting and my dough was a little darker than yours. Wondering what I may have done differently? I used the perfected keto flour mixture. I will try again with the bamboo flour next. Thank you for all that you do and creating such wonderful recipes!

Ok I just made this right now. It tastes amazing however I looked up carb count in jicama and 1 med has 58 carbs fiber 32 grams😳 we are on keto and I’m wondering if I’m calculating wrong? I guess if I had 5 cups that would come out to 5 g carbs per serving. . I didn’t measure before dishing it out to everyone in sight😂 ok I’m waiting on my oat fiber to be delivered then we are making the garlic knots! Me and my granddaughter who has Graves’ disease. Depending on your oven, just turning your oven light on for five minutes before you put your dough in the oven and then leaving it on during proofing will keep your oven at a good proofing temperature and your dough will rise beautifully.
It’s best to use the flour that’s used in the video. However if u want to use my perfected keto flour is does not contain baking powder so I’ve added what’s needed in the description box under “if using perfected keto flour”

I DEFINITELY would say so. Maybe a bit more liquid just the tiniest bit so u can make it round without it separating it I’m adding bagels to my to do list :)

I watched several of your videos, got excited, and finally purchased all the ingredients to make your mix. I made this recipe and it didn't turn out well. Is it possible my yeast didn't rise the same way? I'm having trouble understanding what went wrong, as these garlic knots were drenched with garlic butter and still hard to choke down. Thanks!

When I have made garlic knots in the past (only with fathead dough), I always brushed the garlic butter on before I baked them. Is there a reason you do it after they bake?
I know they re heat from the fridge for several days very well and I want to say yes to the freezer I just haven’t done it. But make sure they have completely cooled to at least room temperature before freezing so they don’t get soggy when re heated
I don't know what I did wrong but I made these tonight and my dough was SO sticky. Like, even after adding an extra cup of flour I couldn't handle it without smearing a ton of olive oil on my hands in between each knot. Waiting on these to proof now and we'll see if theres any other disaster 😂
@@victoriasketokitchen yes I did, though I think the brand of oat fiber I got is darker in color than the one I see you use, so maybe it's different somehow? Every other ingredient brand is the same. They're rose okay after proofing and were still yummy, but something is slightly off in the texture and look. After I use this brand of oat fiber I'm gonna try a different one. Unfortunately I got a huge bag, so it'll be a while 😂

Another lady on here got oat fiber from netrition, Lifesource brand. I also saw that brand on Amazon. I ordered some but it won't be here til the 18th. I'm not out of the modern mountain. But I hope to never be without good oat fiber.

Not in a regular bread recipe this is a gluten free flour so it doesn’t act the same, you would need a gluten free recipe

Do u use the thermometer for the liquid yeast? At 110 degrees

I put cups in there but I never measure by cups I only ever measure my flour by grams.
Could you just form these as breadsticks? Would proofing time be longer perhaps?
You can shape them however you like and 30 minutes to 1 hr is plenty long enough for my flour to rise in any shape

Do the knots freeze well? I'm dying to make them but live alone and worry I'll eat them all in a couple days.
I know they re heat from the fridge for several days very well and I want to say yes to the freezer I just haven’t done it. But make sure they have completely cooled to at least room temperature before freezing so they don’t get soggy when re heated

I don't know what I did wrong but I made these tonight and my dough was SO sticky. Like, even after adding an extra cup of flour I couldn't handle it without smearing a ton of olive oil on my hands in between each knot. Waiting on these to proof now and we'll see if theres any other disaster 😂

@@victoriasketokitchen yes I did, though I think the brand of oat fiber I got is darker in color than the one I see you use, so maybe it's different somehow? Every other ingredient brand is the same. They're rose okay after proofing and were still yummy, but something is slightly off in the texture and look. After I use this brand of oat fiber I'm gonna try a different one. Unfortunately I got a huge bag, so it'll be a while 😂

Another lady on here got oat fiber from netrition, Lifesource brand. I also saw that brand on Amazon. I ordered some but it won't be here til the 18th. I'm not out of the modern mountain. But I hope to never be without good oat fiber.
