The stories are very interesting but this Channel is terrible. The video titles never indicate a series name and instalment number, just some random quote of translated text. The confusion this causes is made worse when episodes are missing or uploaded out of sequence. The cheap A.I. narration is mind-numbingly monotonous and riddled with mispronunciations that are never corrected. Even the mispronunciations vary inconsistently. And it’s the same voice for German, American or Japanese stories, no concern for even the slightest hint of realism. The scrolling translation text is also riddled with errors, and for some reason does not reliably correspond to what the A.I. narrator is saying. The use of a single, static photo instead of actual video, or even a series of different photo’s underlines the cheap and lazy attitude of this Channel. And lastly, I don’t think I’ve seen any attribution of the source material or of the translator.

I think the time has come to find a new platform to listen to these accounts. You Tube is putting ads every five minutes now and it is becoming annoying.. Maybe they are trying to make as much revenue as possible before WW3 hits us, pmsl. I watched a two and a half hour movie earlier today and it was the same. Bloody ads every five minutes. Any suggestions for some decent platforms ?

It is interesting that both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan just continued to send their soldiers and sailors into battle long after it made no sense to do so. Near the end of the war, the Allies were better equipped, trained and supplied than either Japan or German military units were when they started the war. I cannot excuse the waste of military and civilian lives for an obviously lost cause. It is one thing to fight to the last man when victory is possible but to send men to their deaths without possibility of victory is murder. There is no honor. To hear the suffering and stress inflicted on these brave sailors for no reason is an abomination. They could have sunk every allied vessel in six convoys and it still would not matter at this point of the war, yet they were still being sent to die trying. It makes a mockery of the sacrifices the military and civilians once the Soviets and Americans reached Germany herself. Surrender was the only honorable thing for the leadership to do. But they had no real honor, only foolish pride.

Probably not actually practical to do I suppose. Consider the idea a thought experiment.
