Mixed paths are okay, but there should be PVP, gambit, and strike-only paths too. In this 2 weeks of Iron Banner, we should have been able to fulfill pathfinder requirements all in Iron Banner.
@ki11card25 agreed, I do not do pvp and my current path has two crucible only nodes blocking me from progressing so I can't complete without doing pvp that I have never done on any game since halo reach

I'm on the other spectrum, I don't do pvp much, only when there is need like iron banner or trials, but if I want to just pve I end up nodes where it is logical to go do pvp to advance fast. Everything is all over place and makes no sense. But yea for pvp only player this whole thing is nightmare.
The amount of times I would try and do a path and it wouldn't allow me to complete ANY path without doing crucible is nuts. This guy is just a whiny little baby

@QTEila you're lying. There's plenty of times that I'd be locked out of doing a path without having to do SOME crucible. I've had times where the top right end of a path is vanguard, but everything around it is crucible so I'm not able to claim the pinnacle reward without crucible at all.
There's mixed paths or a guaranteed pve path, each milestone takes minimum one pvp match or 1 strike, hell even less to do, only the final ones could take about 20more minutes. if you're THAT allergic to do half an hour of pve just to speedrun it i don't know what to say about you as a person.

to be honest (im speaking from heart) just looking at this alone I can definitely complete most of these (without running a pve playlist) for ignitions i just run blade barrage in control with ignitions and can complete the ignitions bounties. i do agree that each ritual activity should have its own path finder, because to be honest im kind of fed up with the gambit nodes. but I do have to disagree with the ignitions nodes because a 5 min strike can complete all of those in seconds (for crucible run blade barrage in control ez pzy), but i was confused when you complained about the grenade ascension bounty due to the fact that its a universal objective (meaning you can complete it in any activity) that has me scratching my head. you see path finder isnt designed for you to do what you want, its meant to have you think of the fastest way to complete a path to get the rewards faster. when you complete a path (without resetting it) you can complete any remaining nodes for more exp. the reason you can do what you want in this game is because Bungie has not yet grasped the meaning of "free will". In conclusion, I do agree with you on most of the points you made in this video, but the other points you made like the 50 side arm kills or the grenade kills or the ignitions objectives: all I gotta say is either run PvE for once OR just get gud. (because honestly I can complete 99% of that path on your screen in a day or two with no trouble). good job on the video btw (omg i wrote a text book comment)
There isnt any issue with pathfinder. Theres different PATHS to take so just because there certain objectives you dont like doesnt mean its bad. Most objectives can be done in any game mode so its not like its impossible. Sorry bro but this was a giant yappaccino
hate strikes mundane and boring plus bungie said if i want to i can stay in 1 all day its a choice but yet its centered around forcing u to do something else which is dumb design since it was advertised opposite as that
