I love how you're still sticking to your guns of general ambivalence of legendary primaries where really it's just fine, means to a short end, no need to over think it.
Big fan brother. Just want to throw 2 cents out there, Judgement of Kelgorath is the only glaive that can roll with enhanced wellspring/demo. Run this with warlock stasis turrets, its around 4 minor kills to get your grenade back, 2 if you use firepower properly. Can also be paired with getaway artists and devour for more regen. Feel like B is low while all the glaives in A and S dont have this role and just do whatever any glaive can do, bar for forthcoming and the new glaive w chillclip. Forthcoming, Judgement, and now the new glaive are the only glaives I really consider, and I dont see many other people putting impulse/voltshot on a glaive because why would you? You can run a better voltshot weapon. But builds that rely on ability spamming will actually feel different with Judgement. This is my experience at least.
Definitely a unique roll, but I suppose you acknowledge that it's not the most universally applicable option, glaives are a pretty easy weapon out of the couple families that get T2 regen from Demo and co.
@@TheAegisRelic Yeah absolutely, that goes back to what I meant with Unexpected Resurgence with Impulse amp/Voltshot being in S. There are plenty of weapons that can make use of voltshot, so using a glaive for that role becomes less attractive. Like you said many weapons can make use of T2 demo, but not many weapons can make use of T2 demo & wellspring together. The other best case for this specific perk combo is the Brave Forerunner whose origin perk also plays into regen, but I could write an essay on the differences Forerunner and Judgement provide in especially high content. I think glaives suffer from the fact that there's always better options for what they are trying to accomplish, so I fanboy over Judgement because there is that narrow use case. 23:40 I wouldn't assume that chill clip is a 2 tap freeze on the rocket sidearm. Remember that they nerfed chill clip to take 3 shots to freeze, then reverted it back to 2 for everything but rapid fire fusions. So they clearly have the ability to modify how many shots it takes to freeze a target with chill clip depending on the weapon archetype, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the stasis sidearm taking 3+ shots to freeze. It'll probably still be a great pick, just tempering expectations.
@griqs But everything else that can roll chill clip right now fires way slower than riptide. The point of making riptide take 3 shots is because 2 shots was too quick compared to all the other options. If the sidearm froze in 2 then it'd be in the exact same situation that the riptide originally was, hence why it might take 3 to freeze with the sidearm.
@@TheAegisRelic True, but snipers also suck(ed), so maybe they just wanted to give Critical an edge. With how dominant rocket sidearms have been, I don't see them being as lenient. I could be wrong, though. I certainly wouldn't complain about a 2-shot freezing sidearm.
I think it should be noted that the new Hakke world sniper, Veleda-F, can roll Deconsruct + Vorpal, which together with the Hakke Breach Armaments origin trait translates to a permanent 85% damage buff against enemies coded as vehicles.
The whole "enemies codes as vehicles" thing has really got to go. People have been saying x boss is secretly a vehicle since at least Dul Incaru, yet she's just an orange bar, an elite. Her health bar is literally orange in game if you look at her. This means she (and Gorgons, pre-patch Daughters of Oryx, and others,) aren't vehicles, they just take damage scaling that orange bar enemies do, not bosses. This is why Wardcliff is good versus them, because it does -80% damage to bosses and minibosses specifically, but the full damage against red and orange bars. Even Taniks who is literally built like a boat isn't a vehicle. That being said, that combo would still be good against actual Vehicles, if we ever get a Cabal Land Tank boss or something.
@@rpotts There are actual enemies coded as vehicles. I know for certain all Vex Cyclops and Hive Shriekers are, including boss versions. But you're right, many bosses people say are "vehicles" just don't have damage reduction for Wardcliff, EoT, etc.
I hope they make rime stealer work with abilities while the gun is held so you can spawn a bunch of crystals, blow them up with abilities and get a bunch of Frost armor. Thatd be sick

My thoughts on withering gaze is that it is not that great in team play where you generally will have at least one prism/void hunter/warlock. However, it is incredible for solo content like dungeons. The ability to have a weaken on command while running popular solo classes like arc hunter, solar warlock, or strand/solar titan is huge.. Final boss of spire really comes to mind, you have so much time to just stare at him and proc it before using a heavy/your super for damage. Could see some really interesting builds for maximizing total damage as well like running really ammo efficient, safe setups with guns like witherhoard and anarchy.

The reason why Aberrant is so much higher is because of Heal Clip and Incandescent being stronger overall perks than what Indebted has in both columns, not because of its subclass object/bauble generation potential
I feel like you’re dogging on envious assassin on GLs a little hard here in comparison to envious arsenal. Stacking envious assassin you’re only going to have to manually reload like 1 time in a damage phase and even then there’s an artifact perk that boosts your GL reloading for the whole episode. Yeah it’s an artifact perk but thought it was worth mentioning. I agree with your take on Envious Arsenal on rockets though. Easily best reload perk for rockets
I know it's not high end game, but after the Slideways change, I really want to try a Chain Reaction Tusk for Onslaught. Also for BitterSweet, if the Withering Gaze doesn't take much to proc, I would really like to test how it works on a rotation maybe with Witherhoard (I have not practiced using Izanagi well). I know there is an artifact mod, but I like to use stuff without taking them into account.
i wonder how something like liturgy, ex diris, tomorrows answer will do gls do have higher rpm than slugs and liturgy has similar per shot damage to slugs but it would definitely be a better long range choice but idk about the handling
Opinion on trials heavy burst hand cannon vs regular hand cannon like zaoulis bane for general play? It can get dragonfly/voltshot which i think voltshot is better than incandescent
IMO Chroma Rush's first column is SO bad that I think it's honestly maybe worse than Breakneck but it's up for debate, despite Breakneck being a worse archetype
Have you looked at the tonics at all? some just give damage boosts to certain weapons (void or stasis specifically) but then you have the boost on the seasonal artifact, Concussive Reload, where the boosted version says "Using Grenade Launchers to damage bosses/champions [...] automatically reloads stowed weapons" so I was wondering if you could do something like mountaintop > edge transit > mountaintop > edge transit and how worth it that would be
Have you got around to testing the Reconstruction nerf yet? I'm wondering if Apex really is still the top dog on rockets, or if Envious Assassin rockets Crux and Cold Comfort may squeak ahead. Like Apex needs 2 refills with Reconstruction to shoot more rockets than Cold Comfort in a damage phase, and I'm wondering if those refills just take too long now to where it's fallen behind

Envious Assassin is just really annoying to use now, even if it is probably the best mag/sustained perk out of everything besides the other EA
Imagine Soujo combing back with Cascade in first and PI in second 😮
Aw hell nah
@@TheAegisRelic 🤣
Having triple Solar reserves and only having 52 shots on my Aberrant Action is makes me sad.
Been waiting for this sensei
I think u forgot critical anomaly with the sniper buffs and it has chill clip chaos reshaped it’s crazy for end game
Critical Anomaly is already rated it's not a new weapon
Enhanced Rimestealer gives 2x Frost Armor per crystal detonation/frozen enemy kill. It's far from overrrated.
Pinned comment updated now :P
Gotta remind myself it’s only pve considered cause I saw deadlock and was so concerned
People in my chat have said it feels great now!
@@TheAegisRelic Cool, ty!
New meta just dropped. (Still a little salty about not have Primary weapon tier lists, but oh well...)
The goat finally awoke
Dark Ether Reaper overflows the mag btw :)
I've seen it! It's nice
This is a robbery. Put the glimmer in the bag
This comment with the fang yuan pfp😭😭😭. Pb check little guppy
Man what da hell
You know it's bad when the seasonal content is shorter than a shorter than average aegis video
?
The avatar of Destiny
Finally my opinion is here!!
31:20 ill omen does infact have cold steel, I use it all the time.
We missed you Aegis!
:D
i wonder how something like liturgy, ex diris, tomorrows answer will do
gls do have higher rpm than slugs and liturgy has similar per shot damage to slugs but it would definitely be a better long range choice
but idk about the handling
Opinion on trials heavy burst hand cannon vs regular hand cannon like zaoulis bane for general play?
It can get dragonfly/voltshot which i think voltshot is better than incandescent
Will the double fire stasis gl auto freeze with one hit since it's two instances of damage?
Ah, here it is. My opinion on the meta.
my opinion has arrived
Love to see it aegis
I missed you no pause
Aegis, I love you and your brain 🙂↕️🙂↕️
Would chroma rush replace breakneck as the best kinetic auto since it has kinetic tremors on a higher fire rate frame?
prob yes since the iron banner smg also is the best to proc it, parabellum for attrition orbs and etc
IMO Chroma Rush's first column is SO bad that I think it's honestly maybe worse than Breakneck but it's up for debate, despite Breakneck being a worse archetype
I hope next season be a strand season
Have you looked at the tonics at all?
some just give damage boosts to certain weapons (void or stasis specifically) but then you have the boost on the seasonal artifact, Concussive Reload, where the boosted version says "Using Grenade Launchers to damage bosses/champions [...] automatically reloads stowed weapons" so I was wondering if you could do something like mountaintop > edge transit > mountaintop > edge transit and how worth it that would be
Apparently the reload effect is gated to weaken ending so it's not very good, I think Weakened Clear was similar before but it didn't require a boost
Not really I'm just going to assume that rotations involving Reconstruction are just awful now the time extension is absolutely huge
Lets Just Not think about that cause it's really depressing@@TheAegisRelic
dropped the seasonal gl with spike/envious/bns, gonna do some weird shit with it with ex diris
Let's go my new opinion dropped
Hey Aegis, I threw all of this into a DIM Wishlist that I'd be happy to share, if you'd want it.
I think someone in my server maintains an updated DIM wishlist of the tier list stuff but I appreciate it
Reckless oracle not being mentioned is a little odd. Also curious on your opinion on Word vs Ancient Gospel
It's there! In the notes
2nd column on Ancient lowkey a liiiitle disappointing and WoC is better archetype
Where’s the spreadsheet for these tier lists
New opinion dropped
gf dumped me but Aegis dropped a video
today is a good day
