Hi mate, that’s the newer system and Iv not had much of a dealing with that, have you checked fuses? If you look for Gareth on bmw Tec service’s, he’s on Facebook insta, he might be able to help, if you mention 330dfam he should give you a discount if any software needs coding
It’s difficult to say, was your AUX working? Is it still highlighted in the menus? When I click on mine it goes to the AUX in menus. Have you checked fuses? Do you have power on the usb port? Ps if your not subscribed can you please subscribe to the channel 😎👍🏻
I have a problem, I don't have sound on the aux, the radio has sound, the usb has power, what can I do? The aux ist Highlighted in menu , i Check old fuse
Can’t say 100% but may be the module, difficult to diagnose over UA-cam 😂, I’d check cables first if everything is working except sound, have you tried another device/phone?
@@BMWFAMuk Yes, I tried with another phone, ipod and another cable but in vain, I bought the car like that, I've had it for a year and I still haven't been able to solve the problem Does the Bluetooth module after the change have to be coded or just change it?
Just plug and play no need for coding, it’s a different issue to mine tho, if all fuses are ok worth a go for under £40 if you can get one, there were loads when I was looking 👀
Not too sure mate, mine was the mulf in the boot, I’d gone down the route of checking cables aux port in arm rest etc etc, but mine was grayed out, (AUX section on radio) but used to work. It it allows you to select it might just be a fuse 🤷🏼♂️, are u using the correct cable that also splits to the usb?
Hi it was one of the apple car play units from eBay, just made sure it was the latest version, works well for maps I mainly use wise, the rest of the time I just use it factory
Hi mate, what have u done already? Do you have power to the usb in the armrest? Take it you’ve checked all fuses etc, luckily I had my already working doner to swap first, has yours worked at all since you’ve had the car
@@BMWFAMuk actually I fixed it yesterday haha. I used BimmerCode. Searched for aux and it showed as not active, I activated it, coded it and it started to work!!
I actually ended up fixing it! I used BimmerCode. I searched aux and it showed as not active, switched it to active and it gave me another aux that wasn’t greyed out on the screen. I have only had the vehicle for 3 months. I had power to the usb, but the aux was grey. I had checked the fuses and they were all good. I bought a new mulf 2 unit and swapped it and it still showed as grey. Now I’m wondering if I could have just used BimmerCode with the original unit and it had worked..
If you had power to the usb then it will probably have just needed coding, mine had lost power to the usb and all fuses were good, might be worth a go with the old unit and reselling? Glad u fixed it 👍🏻😎
Thank you this has to be my problem cause i came to my car on a rainy day to find somehow the trunk was left open and rain got all in the back and i belive dmaged a bunch of modulals my tire sensor went my sos malfunctioned and my aux stopped working
Ours just stopped working, luckily I had the other car to swap parts but before that I had the centre console out, replaced the aux port, checked fused, tried re coding etc etc, but as soon as I swiped the module, all worked, the radio signal is actually better now aswell, might be wishful thinking but I’m sure it is 😂😎👍🏻
I will try this too, i have E71 and my aux working periodically and 10 days ago it just stopped working at all. I' ve entered the car and aux was greyed out, ive tried everything, wires/installation, new display, aux ports and wires, fuses ive even sent my ccc module for repair and they said its everything ok with it, i have an android display and his own aux working fine and my cars audio fm am radio stations working fine too sound is great but aux.... ive running out of nerves and ideas 😤😡🤬😫🫤
Sounds very similar to the issue I had, think it only cost me £30 off eBay for the module in the boot, check all your part no’s before buying as I think there are a few variations, good look let me know if it fixes it 💪🏼😎👍🏻
I did all the same, remove centre console, trace all wires, check and re check fuses etc, then I thought I’m just going to swap parts as I had the e91, first swap all worked 🤦🏼♂️
I noticed that I have no sound and aux-in, but BT sound works, USB sound works, but aux-in doesn't? BMW f10 2011 What can i do?

Hi mate
My aux is not working, when i click on to aux in display it takes me to radio, is it bcoz of faulty bluetooth module?

So if I put mulf 2 in it will it work by mine is that if I click on aux it sends me back to the radio it doesn’t let me click on it

It didn’t fix mine 😢 still trying to figure out what the problem could be. Maybe I bought one that wasn’t working either..

@@BMWFAMuk which number is crucial on the module so i can look for a match?
@TheGrimoar pretty sure I mentioned it in the video, was the part no under bmw MULF2 👍🏻
