Hi yes followed the instructions, small bursts etc then went for a spirited drive on an open road, it’s well worth a go as it’s a lot more expensive to clean/replace it, and it dropped the pressure in mine massively. Hope it works mate👍🏻😎

That was because it wasn’t fully retracting, hence changing it, if your gentle it will pull out

Hi mate Still think the 30d well mapped 30d feels more aggressive of the line lighter car with more torque I guess

Not tried it, only the ceramic wet polish, I’ll have to look into that as I love the polar seal, imagine there would be full instructions on their website 😎👍🏻

Great video guys I've gone backwards to a E60 530i. From my f31 330d xdrive due to family commitments. Even though I loved my f31 the E60 straight 6 is great

Hi mate yeah I get what you’re saying there ..and yeah six cylinder autos are effortless..just so smooth and yeah second had market is always a gamble with previous owners that’s why I avoid private sale so I can analyse the previous owner 😂

This is partly why I went for an SE spec 330d (17" wheels, no M badges, standard bumpers, etc.)-I deduced the previous owner was a modest chap who didn't rag it. On 126k now and still runs sweet.

And a proper sleeper to that mate discreet performance 👍

I’m sure they do and a lot of it is to meet emissions laws etc to suit all countries, they purposely de tune the engines etc so they run better in different countries etc etc, the purpose of me doing the work iv done is to increase power and reduce the build up of crap inside the inlet etc, ultimately you are correct in cold conditions it may not be as efficient while the engine warms up but I’m still managing between 30-40 mpg town driving and now have no dpf issues at all, emissions were spot on at the last mot so I’m happy 😎👍🏻

My dual mass has a rattle, but clutch is fine so doesn’t bother me for now 🤫, no vibrations tho, is it while moving? Could be your centre prop bearing 🤷🏼‍♂️😎👍🏻

@@BMWFAMuk haha my dmf seems to rattle when the cars cold also. yeah its when changing gear when moving. centre prop bearing could be something to check next time its in the garage!

If it’s in the pedal it’s probably more clutch, dual mass related but worth checking all prop bushes etc, we had a clunk and a vibration on the old e46 was the central bearing and rear diff rubber

Yes for the EGR as it’s the one with the anti shudder valve, you won’t need to for the swirl flaps as vacuum operated, so just blank the hose

If your glow plugs are all good it should help mate, obviously there could be other issues like wiring etc but not very common, hope you get it sorted 😎👍🏻

@@BMWFAMuk just done the glow plugs aswell, hopefully it's not another issue

Doubt it will be mate, have you had it plugged in at all for diagnosis, mine was constantly coming up with the heater circuit fault

If the inlets off I’d just do it, wish I had was a mission with my fat fingers 😂, if your taking the inlet off I’d just do the CCV as is accessible. Can’t wait for a cold snap now 😂👍🏻😎
