I have a t6 California ocean which i love but wee bit restrictive i think the ultimate would be a VW T6 LWB for max space has to be the high roof with upper concertina bed with rear side sofa which would maximise floor space could get my kayak and tandem in.
Nice van. When you installed the window in the raised roof did you cut any of the reinforcements structur? And if so how do you replace the strength? Thanks
Thanks for another great video. How do you manage to register it as a motor caravan when it does NOT have any "motorhome style" graphics and is a two stage build? I have recently converted a new T6 but can not register it as a motor caravan with the DVLA.
@@JerbaCampers It was registered as a panel van in June last year and then converted but now the DVLA have moved the goal posts and it will forever be a Van with Windows. Perhaps that's a new meaning for VW.
@@stonkeng We take delivery of our vans pre registration and because we are what's known as an 'official vehicle bodybuilder' for Volkswagen we have no issues registering the vans as motor caravans from new. We are not reclassifying the vehicles from panel van to motor caravan.
Jerba Campervans Thanks for your prompt response. I’ve seen those. Is there a way of doing it without having to swivel the front seat? As a solo traveller I wouldn’t want to be visible.
@@MamaKim. No problem, happy to help. It's not something we have done before and I don't believe there is a single seat that is capable of folding down to a single bed without use of the front seats. A nice work around may be the narrower double RIB bed that we can offer in our Tiree/ Cromarty layouts. This gives you an extra comfy bed that is wider than a single but still lets you use the remaining space to have deeper cupboards/ extra storage space. Regards.
There's a unique layout I'd love to do with these which would put a small toilet/shower in corner and a folding bed in roof as well as the R&R bed 😁

I'm only 29!! Hats are good until at least 35
Could you let me know how much this cost including the van? I need to start saving 😅

Did you register before or after the conversion?

What would the price be on this vehicle?
Can you have 2 single seats in the rear so that only one seat can be converted to a bed. It’s for a solo traveller
Hey Mama Kim, we actually have a conversion just like what you mentioned. You'll find it by searching for Jerba Jura, or another Jerba Sanna. Thanks.
