Even as my sister and I are on half life budget with ongoing things we're dealing with, as we have most classic NES SNES N64 GameCube and Wii games, Mario Golf and Tennis N64 is what we both really needed to have for our N64, instead of us two struggling to get other certain GameCube games that are hard to find and get as Cib that we accept as! We're so glad we finally have both Mario Golf and Tennis N64!
Camelot's first game for Nintendo knocked it out of the park... I mean, the fairway. Even if you hate golf, you'd have a hard time not having fun with this N64 cart.
Great video and showcase of skill Alex. I played this game for countless hours so I could master it and beat friends in multiplayer back in the day. Who’s your favourite golfer to use?
@@NintendoComplete My favourite is for sure Donkey Kong, with Harry being my second pick. For newcomers the safest bet/easiest to use is Maple. She hits it very straight and is consistent. I always wished I had a cartridge where someone had uploaded the extra golfers, as I never got to play using them (I believe you could transfer them from a gameboy advance game - you for sure know the answer to this). Have a good one!
@rjcupid You could connect this with the GBC game to unlock characters in both games. The GameCube one could connect to the GBA version to do something similar. Thanks man, you too.
I absolutely adore this game. It is one of the funnest multiplayer games ever next to GoldenEye and it is so much fun to learn to master. It’s atmosphere and music are incredible.
The only thing that I don't understand is that MARIO is AN UNLOCKABLE CHARACTER on a MARIO GOLF (I don't count baby Mario cause he's just a past version of him)
I've never been good at golf, real life, and video games (though I never played in real life, I can imagine I suck), but I still enjoy it in this and Wii Sports.
Very cool game and one of the few I wanted an N64 to play. But I still prefer Hot Shots Golf. I also don't have a lot of fondness for Nintendo's characters though so call me biased.
Yep, i dont like that Mario characters anyway, but i like Golf Mario, and ironic, hotshot golf, at least the very first, was de by Camelot, the same guys from Golf Mario
This is the Mario Golf game I go back to the least, mainly because the swinging mechanic of hitting the ball is extremely rigid and very flawed, this isn’t exclusive to Mario Golf 64 and GBC, this is a problem in many golf games that have this mechanic, you have to get the meter at mostly full or or half then you press the button to the bar to the center and you mess up or it wouldn’t be a perfect shot. It’s difficult to explain but these reasons are why I don’t go back to the original games often and play Toadstool Tour onwards where it’s automatic. (Yes onwards also includes Super Rush)
Its funny how in this version Wario is a good sport and actually a good player but in later games he's comic relief and a bumbling idiot with Waluigi......how times have changed and characters have evolved in the Mario universe
@RolandTemplar And besides, the amount of power shots are allowed to have in Mario Golf are depending on the amount of holes you're about to play divided by 3

Golf games are so chill. Sometimes this is all you need.
Yeah
That's true and the music is relaxing as well.

Especially to golf in real life too!

Gangster walk only on Hardrive.
@rjcupid Thanks! Yeah I've played a ton of it, but I think I played the GameCube one even more. My favorite is Donkey Kong, how about yours?

This game and Toadstool Tour will always be among my absolute favorite Nintendo games
I played this game with my buddy in rehab alot, he passed away last year. RIP Matty Rodriguez
I never expected to like mario golf games so much, but this made me a huge fan of all the mario golf games X]
27:20 - 27:24 Bogey! Luigi: "Mama mia!" 🙄
Beaten this game before though the AI was ridiculously hard as hell.
This still remains my favorite golf game of all time.
Love you Plum. Miss you
Too bad, Nintendo hates that Original characters, even today, Nintendo dont let Camelot create anymore un favor of frigging Mii
With a game *_this_* fun, I don't blame you for recording about 8½ hours of it lol.
Has anyone noticed that this game uses the same sound effects as the first 3 Mario Party games?
Stock sounds
2:03:21 - Welp, guess I found out where Wario's "YAHOO!" at the end of Wario Land 4 came from...

Secret thooth from twisted metal 2, is Also unlockable, despite being the main character
@@RolandTemplarWhat’s next? A Mortal Kombat game that requires you to unlock Scorpion despite being one of the main characters?
@@marcuswalker3409 Smoke to Human Smoke. They did it already.
Oddly enough Wario on the box art wear long sleeve but in the game he got short sleeve on same go to mario tennis 64
Still play this game today. Except on my Nintendo Switch instead of a 64
Has HD mode?
This Is The *TRUELY 1st* Mario Golf Game In *3D!*

Hotshots golf is great and Mario Golf (N64) is great too
Awesomeness video please do more golf games please thanks 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Then why did you search for it
Have you played Kirby's Dream Land 2 DX yet?
Ehh. Should've been called Wario Golf. You're Gonna Love It!
Love that game
I find this game therapeutic
awesome video
This fun golf game ,on Nintendo 64 is the best for having fun with friends😁
Very great game, best Mario games ever.
this game's music is so similar to Golden Sun tracks, that is Camelot's hand..
another one of my N64 games! =)
Of course
I remember trying to figure out how to play then i just quit, then later when today i tried it out again and realized i was really stupid back then
Its funny how in this version Wario is a good sport and actually a good player but in later games he's comic relief and a bumbling idiot with Waluigi......how times have changed and characters have evolved in the Mario universe
Mario was smart
How come he always have 6 power shots? Everytime I use one is gone for the hole 18 holes.
Ok Pal, if u use a power shot but get a Nice Shot (perfect swing) u dont waste that power charge
@RolandTemplar And besides, the amount of power shots are allowed to have in Mario Golf are depending on the amount of holes you're about to play divided by 3
